Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1040: Hell Road (6)

Chapter 1040: Hell Road (6)

A shadow with elongated claws lunged at Kent, who was just 1,000 meters away from Kharzun, the City of Shadows, his next destination. It is the 10th Hell City and also where the danger level starts to rise.

This city is filled with the Shadowborn demons. They are special kinds of demons with a great affinity for the shadows.

Naturally, that makes them very well hidden and hard to track. They are natural assassins.

However, just as the shadow was 20 meters from Kent, its body slammed hard to the ground, and it splattered, leaving behind only a golden blood essence.

Kent didn’t even turn to look at the bastard. He stood in place, his eyes closed as he examined the changes happening inside his body.

’Looks like the more of my bloodline I use, the stronger the blood runes become.’ Kent had activated 20% of his bloodline and began slowly checking his blood runes.

He now realized that after fully cultivating the first form of the Primal Bone Tempering Art, each blood rune gives a 500% boost to his strength. Also, he can now use 5,000 blood runes and 70,000 flame veins.

Kent knew that with this buff, it would give him the power to handle even thousands of Heavenly Ascension stage warriors at the same time.

However, he had just noticed that if he is using 20% of his bloodline, then every blood rune, aside from the 500% boost to his strength, his bloodline gives each blood rune a threefold boost.

This means instead of a 500% boost per blood rune, it becomes a 1,500% boost per blood rune.

At the moment, he decided to activate just 100 blood runes and 20% of his bloodline. This means, despite having the strength of a Heavenly Ascension stage warrior, even without the bloodline and blood runes, his current strength is 150,000%.

There is no way anybody can get close to him.

Another Shadowborn demon lunged at him; however, he was crushed before he could get close to him. Kent merely felt invincible, and to some extent, he was indeed invincible.

’Let me just get this over with and head down to the Core Layer of the Damned Hell Sea to form more flame veins before my time runs out.’

Kent opened his eyes, and he moved, this time not caring about any formation.

His movement was quick, and his strength was just so overpowering.

When he entered the city, he sensed the danger emanating from the formation; however, he paid it no attention.

He was crashing into everyone, moving so fast they couldn’t track him.

Inside the Shadow Palace, Velith the Veiled sensed Kent drawing near, so she decided to clash with him.

She had no weapon in hand, but thanks to her elongated claws, she had a good weapon.

She moved at a speed several times faster than the other Shadowborns.

However, just when she was 20 meters from Kent, her body stopped as if she had suddenly decided to stop. Not even her claws could move.

Naturally, that was Kent using his bloodline to suppress her completely.

"So long."

With a swing of his sword, a red sword arc flashed out and cut her in half. However, it didn’t stop there; the arc sliced through more buildings and Shadowborns in its path until the Shadow Palace was even cut in half.

’Damn, that is dangerous,’ Kent smiled, and then, using the soul map, he teleported away.

[The Viewers]

The viewers who saw this sight became stunned.

There is one thing to suppress a city lord, and another to kill her subordinates with mere bloodline power. However, when it comes to cutting an entire city in half with a casual swing, that is where the problem starts.

"Wait a minute. I have been around for a very long time and have seen a lot, but damn, this is my first time seeing somebody who made swordsmanship look dope," a certain demon lady said, her loins tingling.

"You don’t say. Just look at how he swung the sword. It was like he and the sword understood each other."

"This kid is what you call a prodigy."

"I am sure Bliz will have a hard time facing him."

"I would be disappointed if he had it easy. After all, I am rooting for this kid to kill him and become the next Hell King."

"Same here."

"Me too."

Meanwhile, Bilad and Nyx were equally stunned when they saw how Kent killed the city lord.

"What is on your mind, Nyx..." Bilad asked. This was the first time he had seen Nyx take a close interest in someone other than herself.

This mysterious, purple-haired boy, whom everyone keeps calling the Blood Reaper, had managed to pique her interest.

So she had been paying close attention to him for the past few hours.

"I don’t have anything on my mind. Though I would be lying if I said this kid hasn’t piqued my interest. If I were to recruit him, my chances of becoming an Underworld Queen would be extremely high.

Too bad he is after the role of a Hell King."

"Too bad indeed." Bilad smiled.

"Maybe you can tell him to make me the next Hell King, then he will take my place and help you become an Underworld Queen."

Nyx smacked Bilad’s head for making fun of her. However, she wouldn’t mind swapping her best friend for Kent if that meant she got to become an Underworld Queen.

"Stop daydreaming, Nyx. He is not somebody we can poach just like that. But even if we could, there is no telling if he can help you just yet.

After all, he is from a high world with cultivation only at the Core Formation stage."

"I know, Bilad. And I don’t think he is from a high world. I think he is from a medium world, considering even after this many kills, he hasn’t broken through to the Spirit Ascension stage.

I think he just entered the Hell Road from a high world..."

"Damn. To think a person from a medium world would be soloing beings that, had it not been for the laws, would only be found in immortal worlds... Just what kind of monster is he?"

Bilad was even impressed. Between the two of them, he was the strongest. He had saved Nyx, and since then, they had been friends. Although Nyx liked to play bossy every day, he was, in fact, very powerful.

But even he knew if he were in Kent’s place, he wouldn’t be able to do the things Kent was doing. Nobody could —or at least nobody he was aware of could do that.

"He is stopping," Nyx said, staring at Kent, who had come to a stop atop a cliff.

He stood calmly, gazing over the horizon.

"Why did he stop?" Bilad asked, but Nyx didn’t mind him. She also wanted an answer to that question, so why ask her?

Naturally, every last viewer was also wondering the same thing. They all wanted to know why Kent stopped.

Since he came out of the Damned Hell Sea, he hadn’t even taken a breather. The past hours had been him moving nonstop. However, for the first time, he actually stopped.

Many were intrigued. However, before they could get answers to their queries, the transmission was cut, causing everyone to grit their teeth.
