Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1039: Hell Road (5)

Chapter 1039: Hell Road (5)

When Kent spotted the formation in the City of Blades, he sensed some familiarity with it. Of course, this familiarity wasn’t the kind that suggested he was the one who created it.

The feeling leans more towards the connection he felt from his soul universe.

They could feel the origin of the formation came from the same origin as his soul universe. So Kent decided to investigate.

First, he created a clone body inside his soul universe and then, using the abundant soul essence at his disposal, he tempered it, imbuing a soul mark into it.

In a way, he made the clone body a living entity for a limited period.

One hour to be precise.

Within that one hour, he could act as a human through his clone body. This was because he wanted the formation to register him in his clone body, which it did.

Then, while his clone body fended off the attacks of the formation, his main body sneaked in and started observing the formation.

To the viewers, they saw two bodies move into the city. However, to the Bladeborns, they only saw one person, and that person was killed by their city...

However, in reality, Kent discovered that the formation was created by a sword refined with the soul spirits of one million hell demons.

This made it very powerful, and upon examining the formation inscribed into it, Kent knew he had to obtain that sword.

Thankfully, when it comes to the amount of soul essence, he is swimming in it. So he used his advantage to make the sword his own, and when he succeeded, the sword became his forever.

Now, he can command the ’Crimson Guillotine Array’.

Kent examined the jagged sword in his hand as he stood on Gaap, who was flying him toward the 11th city.

"This is some powerful sword right here," Kent said, and Gaap, who was clearly jealous, had to agree with Kent.

[It is indeed a good sword... however, nowhere near what I am capable of.]

Kent smiled. "I know, Gaap. However, with time, if more soul spirits are fed to it, it will become a great killing array, the kind that will cause armies to flee in terror."

[Whatever...]

As a sword, hearing his master praise another sword made him jealous.

Gaap may appear as this old demon with ancient knowledge, but at heart, he is still a sword. So whatever level of jealousy swords feel, he was clearly feeling one now.

"Of course, I will be leaving Little Demon in your capable hands. If you can train and nurture him, maybe one day you will have a little brother."

[Really...]

Kent smiled, hearing Gaap’s enthusiastic exclamation.

He knew the demon sword he had obtained had the potential to one day cause even gods to run. Kent is a swordsman—somebody who was heralded as the father of swordsmen.

His legacy established the foundation of the sword. So when it comes to swords, his senses are rather sharp on them.

He can discern the best from the chaff.

Little Demon is a good sword, and he knew that. Now, he would be giving it to Gaap to nurture it.

The reason behind this decision was to ensure Gaap wasn’t jealous if he started giving Little Demon some attention.

The second is, he can sense Little Demon’s sword spirit will soon be awakening, and so he wants Little Demon to feel some form of brotherly respect for Gaap when he is born.

This way, he will forever be Gaap’s little brother.

[I will be sure to make Little Demon as great as me back in the day.]

"I know you will"

---

[20 hours later]

Kent came to a stop exactly 200 meters away from Vorath, the City of Flies.

"This is not what I expected to be my 4th challenge," Kent said, staring at a sight that sent both chill and disgust down his spine...

[This should be a lesson to you. In the future, when you hear of the insect demons, picture them as ugly, disgusting, and extremely venomous.]

Kent sighed, the disgust on his face deepening. What he was staring at could only be described as disgusting.

There were thousands of bloated, insectoid demons with rotting wings and pus-oozing boils. They were as large as a horse, and every last one of them was just...

Fighting them would be very disturbing.

"Little Demon will have to handle them for us," Kent said, and Gaap nodded to that.

He would have loved to be the one to handle this battle, but he knew Kent had no plans to kill these disgusting demons by himself, so Little Demon would do that.

Kent started moving toward the city, and as he drew closer, he could sense the pungent smell of the insects assaulting his nostrils. Kent came to a stop at once.

Even in the 12 levels of hell, the viewers were disgusted.

"I have never seen disgusting insect demons like these ones before. Makes me wonder if they are worth keeping alive."

A certain demon who was drinking a red juice spat out the drink, his expression dark. "Today is the last time I will ever drink Hell Wine."

"I wonder how the Blood Reaper is going to handle this disgust. Just look at his expression; he is clearly disgusted by the appearance of his next opponents."

"Maybe this is the battle he will fall in. After all, I wouldn’t fight these things."

Suddenly, everyone saw a rotting and smelly insect demon move toward Kent. After closing the distance between them, Kent saw a sneer form on its rotten face.

"What is wrong, Mr. Challenger?" the insect demon asked, his sneer widening. "Are you too disgusted to enter the city?"

Kent’s mouth twitched, but he couldn’t deny the truth in the question he was asked. He was indeed disgusted at the prospect of entering the city.

Seeing his expression, the insect demon smiled. "My Queen has a message for you."

Kent glared at the bastard, whose smile widened. "If you were to become my Queen’s plaything, she would consider keeping you alive for a few years."

"No, thank you."

The demon lost its head, and then with a wave of his hand, Little Demon teleported and appeared in the city.

"Crimson Guillotine Array... activate." Kent forms a hand seal...

In an instant, an array of thousands of swords appeared, and the City of Flies became the first city to taste total defeat.

After all, Kent was planning on doing the sixth level of hell a favor and rid it of this abomination of a race for good.

Three hours later, the 11th pillar dimmed after every last insect demon was killed. 1.6 million blood essences were absorbed into his soul, which were used to further strengthen the blood core gate.

Kent moved and left the city behind.

In all 12 levels of hell, everyone held smiles on their faces. The insects were massacred, and with them, the City of Flies would be dissolved for a while before a new race of demons took their place.

Kharzun, the City of Shadows, was the next destination. Kent had already handled four cities, leaving him with ten more to go.

Naturally, all viewers adjusted their sitting posture, for they all knew the real battle had begun here.

If only they knew Kent had also made plans to unleash his full strength... In the end, the one who remains standing is the strongest.
