Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1157: Shocking Everyone

Chapter 1157: Shocking Everyone

It took less than ten moves for Jest to defeat Adrian.

That is a little too much for anyone, much less a Sword King, to achieve.

Jest promised to defeat Adrian in under five minutes using fewer than fifty moves. In the end, however, he did that in under a minute using fewer than ten moves.

This left everyone in shock.

"What did I just watch?" a disciple asked, feeling his mind turning off.

He just could not wrap his mind around the fact that Jest defeated Adrian in under a minute. "This is impossible. Nobody has ever passed the first level of the Sword Bridge in under a minute before."

Many nodded.

However, inasmuch as they would love to deny it, Jest had done it, and judging by the look on Adrian’s face, everyone knew there was no underhanded technique used by Jest.

Adrian looked at Jest calmly, then spoke. "You read my moves like an open book."

Jest smiled calmly. "But of course. I already warned you that I have mastered all 1.6 million sword moves a person could make. Even if there were thousands of you, as long as your sword moves are within the 1.6 million moves I know, then defeating you is possible."

Adrian shook his head and smiled. "I guess you aren’t arrogant for nothing."

"I like to prove my words, making sure everything I say is backed by evidence. Just now, I have proven to everyone why I am the most qualified to challenge the Sword Bridge."

Naturally, that was a subtle jab at the disciples, seething with anger on the outside. Those who caught his words gritted their teeth, but they could not deny that perhaps his words were indeed true.

"So what now?" Adrian asked, and Jest pointed his sword at him.

"Now, the best part." His sword aura burst out. "You fight me using your sword realm."

Adrian smiled and activated his sword realm. In an instant, Jest found himself somewhere else. The moment Adrian unleashed his sword realm, the scene changed.

The scenery around Jest twisted and shattered like broken glass. In the blink of an eye, the tranquil valley was gone.

Now, he stood on a vast battlefield under a crimson sky. Blades jutted from the ground like gravestones, and a cold wind howled across the endless plain.

There were many broken swords that slowly rose into the air just when Jest appeared in this sword realm.

Clicking sounds filled the air, almost as if many battles were being fought inside this realm.

"Powerful."

"It is my Broken Sword Realm. In here, the chances of your sword breaking are very high, so be sure to have a spare one just in case." Adrian said with a mocking smile.

He said nothing else again, but instead focused on the battle that was about to be fought.

Jest moved, and Adrian also did, the broken swords following him.

They clashed, and this time, Jest sensed Adrian was no easy person. However, with his plans now in motion, he could only endure.

In no time, he began seeing things that would help him achieve his goals much faster. The clash seemed to intensify from there onwards.

"This is unbelievable. He is not even using his sword realm, yet he is going toe to toe with this person," a disciple said, feeling his reasoning not making sense anymore.

In the path of swordsmanship, one knows that to fight a sword realm, one needs to also use one’s own sword realm. Sword realms have unique laws that work in favor of the owner.

A swordsman can make it so that when inside their sword realm, their reaction speed multiplies, making them much faster, thereby making their opponent slower.

In such a situation, the right move for the opponent is to use their own sword realm. However, Jest was not using a sword realm, yet he was keeping up with Adrian, and as the battle intensified, people began to see that he was even gaining the upper hand.

Adrian, too, can see that, but he said nothing. To him, this is a peak battle where he is meeting someone with a true understanding of the sword.

The Broken Sword Realm made Adrian’s sword sturdier and his movements faster, all the while keeping him surrounded by broken swords, allowing him to launch projectiles as he pleased.

"Common sense is not a real thing. There is no way he is fighting without a sword realm." Even the core disciples who had already become Sword Divines and Legends couldn’t help but be taken aback by Jest’s display.

As the hours went by, Jest slowly began to see a much broader nature to Adrian’s sword realm.

Five hours later, Jest’s breakthrough came. He defended against a projectile fired by Adrian, then, instead of relenting, he sat down and closed his eyes...

The next second, he gained his second enlightenment since arriving in the Immortal World.

Yet again, people let their jaws hang open as they witnessed what had happened.

"He has gained enlightenment."

"No way he actually gained enlightenment."

"Are you blind? He has gained enlightenment, and from the look of things, he seems to have been working toward this from the start."

"You are saying his plan all along was to fight against a sword realm without using his own sword realm. Just what was he hoping to achieve?"

"Isn’t it simple? He was aiming for this very moment. Maybe he had found a way to fight against the sword realms.

So, like creating one’s own technique, he went ahead and started developing a way to do it. Now, the Heavenly Dao has recognized his effort and granted him enlightenment.

He will be coming out much stronger and more dangerous."

As swordsmen, they all seemed to be impressed by what Jest had done. He not only defeated Adrian in less than ten moves, but he had treated their duel like a lesson, which had now granted him access to enlightenment.

"Interesting," Adrian, who also realized what had happened, smiled and walked back. At this point, nobody knew whether he was a real person.

However, judging by his behavior now, many were inclined to believe he was.

Of course, he cannot die, so there is also that contradiction. But for now, he has a name, and his behavior screams that he is a real person.

Three days later, Jest opened his eyes.

Powerful waves of sword energy exploded out of his body, causing Adrian to stand up and look at Jest in shock...

"This energy... It is my sword realm."

Adrian recognized the fluctuation immediately...

Jest looked at him and smiled. Then he raised his sword and harnessed Adrian’s sword realm, which had become a sword skill for him but, innately, also a sword realm.

He turned in a certain direction and took a big swing.

Instead of a sword arc shooting out, countless broken swords appeared in the air and rained down on the mountain, digging a big hole into it...

Adrian widened his eyes.

"No way... That is Adrian’s sword realm. Did he just copy Adrian’s sword realm into a technique?"

"That is impossible. Sword realms are unique; there is no way a person can comprehend another’s sword realm down to their energy fluctuation."

"Well, he did, and looking at the expression on the man’s face, he clearly didn’t expect that."

"Damn."

Inside the Immortal Cave, the green-haired sect leader widened her eyes, seeing what Jest had accomplished...

"What path is this kid walking, and just how can he copy others’ sword realms?"

She muttered, feeling her mind spinning.

"He is dangerous." A vicious light flashed across her eyes as she looked at the kid who made her go down on her knees and beg just over a year ago.
