Chapter 1168: Commanding the Universe
Chapter 1168: Commanding the Universe
It didn’t take long for the battle on Fedora to come to an end.
As promised by King Hkum before the battle, every last Orc, Hellhoundkin, Lionkin, Rabbitkin, and Batkin was killed. That is how thorough they went.
They knew for a fact that as long as there were more worries, the chances of one of them coming back one day for revenge were high. So it was better to eradicate them all.
Now, the five races that had created chaos in the once peaceful world would be suppressed by the Foxkin, Tigerkin, and Catkins.
All three of them were under Kent’s protection, so the five traitors would be under Kent’s authority.
Rebelling ever again would not cross their feeble minds. It was a win-win situation for both races, and that alone was more than one could ask for.
The Orc King had been beaten to death by the unyielding Kaizo, who cherished every moment of their battle. He had already suffered a crashing defeat against the immortals, so he enjoyed this win.
But by the time everything was said and done, the battle happening on planet Hamkin had also drawn to a close, with 670,000 warriors slaughtered in under an hour.
Kent kept his promise and slaughtered every last warrior.
By the time he was done, the strongest person on Hamkin was not even at the Core Formation stage. That was how thoroughly he ensured the universe’s traitors were eradicated.
"So now that you have killed everyone, what would you gain from this?" the leader of planet Hamkin asked. Kent had spared him for last.
"Who said I did this for any gain?" Kent sneered. "Whatever I did was for personal satisfaction. I made a promise to myself that until every last forsaken soul is eradicated, I will never rest.
You and your people happen to be collateral damage and a necessary massacre to send a message to the forsaken race that their worst nightmare had been reborn.
Be happy, though, since you won’t be the last lost souls I will be sending to the underworld." The man shivered, feeling his soul cry for help, yet he knew no help would come.
Because of their dealings with the forsaken race, they had limited their presence in the universe, always keeping to themselves so that they wouldn’t draw any attention.
Attempting to take control of Fedora was a calculated move.
They planned to use King Balma to rule it, and then, when they were done with their preparation, they would unleash the forsaken race there and let them do the dirty work of killing every last soul.
It was a brilliant plan that wouldn’t be traced back to them.
Unfortunately for them, Kent arrived just when they were drawing near their goal.
"You know, thanking me should be the best thing you can do now. Because of me, your people will keep growing till the world explodes, which it never will.
By killing you scums, the forsaken race cannot come to your world. They will also not have a way to dominate Fedora. So, in a way, they will have to turn elsewhere, and I will be waiting for them there too.
So your death is rather good for peace and prosperity. You should thank me," Kent smiled, and then he commanded a dark shard from the ground to pierce through the man’s head.
He died, and his memories were absorbed by Kent, who immediately sat down to check through and pick the things he wanted.
First, he wanted the location of the forsaken world that had been in contact with this man. Since he was the leader, it was only right that he and they would be in contact.
Kent needed their location or at least a clue. He would certainly be happy to have his hand on the first forsaken world, where killing every soul would feel like soul cleansing for him.
There are no innocents in the forsaken race after all. They are all twisted inside and would do anything to make sure they are the last ones standing.
When they killed Elina, they weren’t after anything in particular. They merely stood up one day and chose to go on a rampage.
All the billions they killed, they had no justification or reason to warrant their deaths. To them, it was merely killing to their heart’s content.
So Kent too wanted the same. He, too, would kill them, but with a motive in mind, and that was his revenge, which he had started since the beginning of time.
After an hour, Kent was done looking through the man’s memories.
’Looks like they too were taking orders from others who are the true people linked to the forsaken race, or at least that is what he thought.’ Kent took a deep breath.
’It doesn’t matter. Chaos had to kill hundreds of worlds before getting his first true intel on the forsaken race’s whereabouts. I will just follow up and make sure they pay for their crimes.’
"How did things go?" Uncle Drew asked. He didn’t even lift a single finger in the massacre that had just ended. It was all Kent who quelled his anger and dispensed justice.
"I got a location, but it is far from this place. The bastard broke the item he used to communicate with them before he died."
"Very loyal of him." Both Uncle Drew and Kent smiled.
"That he was. However, that doesn’t mean he saved them. The least he did was buy them some time."
Uncle Drew nodded, and then he looked around, seeing thousands of dead bodies lying everywhere. He waved his hand, and three hooded figures appeared, each radiating the power of a Death Stage cultivator.
"You already know what to do." The three nodded and formed hand seals. In no time, all the bodies were engulfed in green flames.
Soon, not even their bones remained. Getting burned by hell flames meant they didn’t stand a chance. In their place, thousands of green runes rose into the air and moved toward the three hooded figures.
After absorbing all the runes, they vanished back to where they came from.
Kent stood by until they were done.
"Looks like you came back full of surprises, Uncle Drew."
The Night Rider Captain smiled. "It is all thanks to a fateful encounter I had while in the underworld."
"Whatever that encounter was, I want to hear about it once we leave here," Kent said with a smile. Uncle Drew indeed came back full of surprises.
Uncle Drew merely nodded and then looked at the now clean battlefield.
Kent also nodded to this, and then he looked up. "You already know what to do, Universe. Let’s not delay that any longer."
Immediately, Kent said, the spiritual energy in the air began to grow thin. Uncle Drew felt the change and looked at Kent as if he were some kind of monster.
The process was subtle yet visible from the start. In no time, the process came to an end, leaving only spiritual qi in the air.
In the end, the universe didn’t turn the world into a lowly, spiritless place. Instead, it made it a medium world where reaching the Core Formation stage would be nearly impossible.
To Kent, although he didn’t get what he wanted, this, too, could be accepted.
"Let’s go, Uncle Drew. We are done here."
