Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1176: New Mission

Chapter 1176: New Mission

When Vexthra knocked Kent out, the tower used the moment to activate the three memory keys he had for the Faceless Assassin.

In those three parts of his past life memories, he experienced the planning and plotting moments that Faceless had to go through to kill a demon lord.

He experienced from the true expert the art of assassination. It was one of the intense moments and the experience that shaped Faceless Life. That finally awakened his nature as an assassin.

But it wasn’t just about witnessing how Faceless killed the demon lord; he got to relive the moment Faceless formed the Midnight Shadows.

It turned out the Midnight Shadows weren’t a fan group, as Kent had believed at first. In the memories he had recovered, when Faceless became an immortal, he realized the universe is big.

He alone wasn’t enough to handle the many threats there were, so he formed the Midnight Shadows, where he personally trained assassins from scratch.

He started with only seven, and by the time the memory ended, he had 60 assassins. Just before the memory ended, Kent, or more like Faceless, had created a variant of the Faceless Art and gave it to the first seven he started with.

However, he had it at the back of his mind to give it to more assassins.

This variant technique, just like the faceless art, also allows the assassin to take on the appearance of others. However, instead of becoming them, it only allows them to change their appearance.

However, unlike shapeshifting abilities that can be countered, this method truly captures the person’s appearance, voice, and even their memories.

However, they wouldn’t fully become the person they had killed, unlike the Faceless Art, which makes the assassin become that person.

Faceless named the assassins he gave this technique to, Faceless Agents, and judging by what he had heard his ladies discussing, the Faceless Agents are now a big deal.

This made Kent happy because he planned on using their daggers to rescue Kaelith. Though it would be a long shot simply because he didn’t know the arrangement he made with the Midnight Shadows before he died and reincarnated, he knew he would need them.

As strong as he is, he alone is not enough to rescue his friend and subordinate.

Kent’s wives could only look at him in a daze.

They’d already gotten used to him being the Chaos Dragon, but to think he was also the infamous Faceless Assassin.

That wasn’t something they expected.

Of course, he had already told Vexthra this part of himself, but to the rest of his wives, this was their first time hearing it.

Vexthra looked at her sisters and smiled... "No need to look shocked, he is a monster. I mean, he was also Lord Genesis... so nothing to be surprised about here, ladies."

They looked at Kent for a few seconds before Mara asked a question they all wanted to ask...

"Are there any more incarnations we should know about?"

Kent smiled, "Nothing yet, but I will be sure to let you ladies know."

They could only look at him like he was some ancient monster. In truth, he is indeed an ancient monster.

As a true primordial, he is perhaps the most ancient of them all. His nature and origin are ones that will project him to a stage no being, not even the six true primordials, had dared reach.

"Do you plan on going back to the Midnight Shadows?" Liora asked now that she knew who Kent was. She is a member after all.

"I will, but for now, I need to know more about myself before seeking them out. The assassins I trained aren’t going to casually accept just any no-name as their boss." Kent spoke with a knowing smile.

The ladies nodded.

They most certainly knew Kent going to his former organization, claiming to be their founder, was not going to be a walk in the park.

They would either kill him outright or put him to the test that perhaps he himself had designed. After all, Kent had already seen what kind of crazy trials he had created for his recruits.

Liora nodded, though her enthusiasm had taken a hit. Kent saw that, so he reassured her.

"I know where to get the answers I seek... I know where to begin, so no need to worry. After all, I need the Shadows to help me rescue a friend of mine, so I will seek them out soon enough.

However, before going to them, I must first know more about the life I had lived that made me who I was back then."

She smiled and nodded.

"So now what do you intend to do?" Nara asked. They all wanted him to go get Elina as early as possible...

She is a priority now, not some immortal locked in prison.

Of course, they wouldn’t dare say their inner thoughts out loud. However, as women, they tend to be more biased toward other women. If they have the chance, they will save Elina first before thinking about Kaelith.

"I will start my journey from the Pill Worlds. Once I take Liora to her home world, I will continue from there. I always have a roadmap, so I will follow it till I get to my destination."

"Then leave early. The faster you get to her, the better."

"Okay. I will leave since you ladies are sacking me."

None of the ladies bought into his mind game. They shooed him and started their own meeting. After Kent left the Harem Tower, he went to the Legion Tower to meet with Uncle Drew again.

He intended to find out more about Kaelith’s situation.

After hearing everything, he gave him a new mission.

"Go back to the Underworld. Tell Nyx to send you to the 6th level of Hell to pass a message personally to the current ruler there. He is a subordinate of mine.

The message must be delivered in person."

"I understand. I will start preparing then."

Kent nodded and let Uncle Drew go prepare. Since he was currently not at the level to contend against Immortals or Demigods, he wanted to use the strength he had accumulated in Hell to make some moves.

The Midnight Shadows were good and probably the best. However, Kent wanted to be extra prepared.

He knew what kind of training he had put his assassins through from the small memories he had, so he was not putting his hope in them to help him in the short term.

Getting to them will take time compared to hell.

He had already anticipated moments like this, and that was one of the many reasons he walked the hell road and defeated the 6th-level hell king. So he might as well tap into that strength.

Of course, if they could help him, then fine, but for now, he wanted to use the strength he had secured back when he defeated the 6th-level Hell King and became the ruling Hell King.

After Kent handled some other things in the Legion Tower, he left for the Mountain Garden, where Gaia and her sisters were working diligently to recreate a more stunning garden.

When he appeared there, they dropped everything and ran to him...
