Chapter 1177: Leaving

"Big brother, are you leaving again?" Yuna asked, holding Kent’s hand.

She and Purity had become apprentices to the three cosmic troublemakers. Although they are not teaching them how to weave, since that is against the rules of the cosmos, they are teaching them how to use their skills much better.

In other words, instead of them breaking the rules, they are using the loopholes to teach the two immortal ladies how to harness their own power beyond what any cultivators could.

This is the best they could do, and that alone is enough to tell what kind of monsters they will become in the future.

However, while they are enjoying this new relationship, they would love to spend more time with Kent.

But seeing him so busy made them realise he might be leaving again.

Kent brushed Yuna’s dark hair and replied, "I am indeed leaving, but I will be coming into the tower every now and then to spend time with you. This time, I will not go years without coming back."

"Promise?"

Purity asked, and Kent nodded. "I promise."

"Okay, we believe you."

Kent smiled.

He didn’t know if it was Yuna’s Divine Pill Body that made her retain her petite body and her childish nature even after thousands of years.

Even when he rescued her years ago and brought her to Nefeli, she was older than he was. However, her personality and the way she carried herself were those of a child.

Kent at first thought it was because she never got to live as a normal lady should. He even expected that, after a few more years, she would catch up to her age.

But now, it seems she would always remain herself. In a way, that is okay. She has people like Gaia, Dori, and Akira, who are as old as the universe yet also childish.

Kent at first thought they were just acting, but as they spent more time together, he began to realize they were indeed childish in every way.

That is who they are, and he is okay with that.

However, seeing them easily accept his promise made him feel somewhat guilty. He knew this journey he was about to embark on would be long and dangerous. Sometimes he would have to go a whole year without meeting them.

That is a very long time inside the tower, unless, of course, they spend that time in the cities.

So, promising to come meet them every now and then might just not happen.

’It is okay. Even if I can’t come here, I will summon them to me. A few rides from one planet to the next will be fun enough.’

Since he takes the tower everywhere he goes, he will be able to summon them just as he can pop in whenever he wants.

After spending four hours with the five lolis, he left to go see his mom, who had been spending time with Adina and Priestess Runa.

It turned out Lyna chose to enter seclusion to learn a technique she acquired in the tower shop, so only the three ladies had been spending time the past month.

When Kent got there, they were having breakfast...

"Mom, you never even consider calling me to come eat breakfast with you."

Lady Enyo looked at her son walking towards her and smiled. "I am sorry, Kent, I didn’t know you were out of seclusion."

"Yeah. I came out of seclusion a while back, but I was handling some stuff. But I am now free, so I chose to come spend some time with you ladies before I leave."

"Where are you going?" Adina asked, a little sad.

Kent smiled, seeing her sad expression. He sat down beside his mom and reached to hold Adina’s hand. "I am just going on an adventure in a very faraway place. However, I will be coming by from time to time, so it will be like I never left."

"But you are still leaving without spending more time with us."

"I know, but I will try to spend more time with you and everyone, no matter how hectic things become."

Adina sighed a little and nodded. "I understand."

Kent smiled, knowing she was merely putting on an act.

He knew that, unlike the rest of the ladies he had met and added to his harem, Adina and Runa were different. They have the [Extreme Yin Body Constitution], which prevents them from having sex until they become immortals.

Until their constitutions finally awaken, they cannot have sex. If they did, their bodies would be tainted since the man would take away the purity that empowers them.

This means Kent cannot claim them now. So, to make them feel special, he would have to spend more time with them. However, he is bidding goodbye as he will be leaving for some time.

Naturally, that was a low blow to them.

Kent seemed to realise that, so he quickly found a fix.

"I know your situations, and while we cannot spend the time you would want together, we can at least start somewhere.

So, how about this: become my woman now so you can talk to me telepathically whenever you want, regardless of the distance between us.

I promise to work hard and soon ascend to the immortal worlds so we can be together more intimately."

His proposal seemed to have done the magic. Even his mother gave him a thumbs up for solving the problem she had been trying to solve for the past month.

"As long as it doesn’t involve sex, then I accept," Runa said, not hiding her intentions much longer.

"Me too. I would like to become your woman."

Kent smiled and willed the tower to add them to his harem. The moment he did, his wives appeared in the city like ghosts. Before he could say anything, they dragged Adina and Runa away.

"Wonderful, ladies, you have my dear pumpkin," Lady Enyo said, smiling happily for her son. The moody and sad Kent she knew had become much freer and happier in this life.

That alone filled her heart with happiness.

"They are indeed the best. However, they are fragile, so while I am gone, take care of them for me, Mom."

"Don’t worry, I will ensure they are okay. Just go handle whatever business you have to."

Kent nodded to his mom’s words.

"Come on, I have sewn you a nice set of clothing you will need for your journey." Kent nodded and followed his mom inside the small mansion Gaia and her band of troublemakers had built for her.

They see her as their grandma, so they are spoiling her rotten. Of course, since she seems to also cherish them, whenever they steal money from Kent, they spend it on her first.

This way, when Kent comes chasing, she will shield them.

After Kent finished receiving his new, modern yet medieval clothing, he left to say goodbye to his ladies before leaving with Liora and Selene.

Selene is coming simply because Kent wants to spend more time with her after learning about her bitter past. As for Liora, they are like newlyweds on their honeymoon.

Also, she is going home, so her husband will be making sure she reaches there safely.
