Chapter 1203: Overpowered Goddess
Chapter 1203: Overpowered Goddess
The god realm is just like the mortal realm.
Of course, all mortals born in the god realm can be considered fortunate, for they are among the one percent.
Being born in a realm surrounded by gods not only makes one overprivileged but also leads one to become a powerful cultivator.
Take Kent’s wives, for example.
Because their sister is a goddess, they received high-tier cultivation techniques, treasures, and more. This advantage had propelled them on a path that most, even in god worlds, wouldn’t be able to have.
This, in a way, gave them an unfair advantage.
Mortals who have never seen a god cannot, in their wildest dreams, dare stand against a mortal born and raised in the god world.
Those overprivileged children have high-quality spiritual energies to cultivate. They have super strong spirit roots, physiques, and many more that mere mortals couldn’t dream of.
Even Immortals in the god worlds find it easy to form immortal qi.
Of course, given the abundance of resources there, every person can be considered a powerhouse. But then again, thanks to everyone being overprivileged there, their arrogance is also on another level.
However, unlike the mortal realm, where there are rulers on every planet, city, or two, in the god realm, most gods prefer to keep to themselves.
Most stay indoors to cultivate, some travel to ruins to explore and seek out opportunities. But of course, other gods like to roam and cause trouble.
In the end, not all gods act godly. Some are just scums that would use any means necessary to get what they wanted.
Vexthra, of course, is one of the secluded gods. She is a domain god.
So unlike some of the gods that go about causing trouble here and there, she always keeps to herself. The number of interactions she had with others over the millions of years she lived as a god wouldn’t be up to ten.
Of the few interactions, she didn’t initiate them, nor did she bother to care about what they said.
So one could only imagine what people will think watching such a person now walk down the street.
Vexthra, clad in her black clothes, walks down the street of Luminous, a city on Planet Spanta. This is the god world of the Space god.
On this planet, every last cultivator cultivates space-type techniques, mainly thanks to their patron god, who provides them with the techniques and methods needed to master the laws of space easily.
Of course, among the limited god worlds out there, Planet Spanta can be counted among the strongest planets. It has many experts.
At the moment, many of the said experts stood in various places, watching Vexthra walk down the street toward a peak where a majestic mansion stood.
Not many recognized the goddess of hatred and resentment. However, they know of her reputation as the coldest goddess in the universe.
She had no friends, and the most she talked to anyone was 30 seconds, saying only two things — okay and leave.
So, despite many not knowing her, her reputation had already spread far and wide. Naturally, that was more than a person should know.
But she is the goddess of hatred and resentment. That counts for something.
"When they call her the coldest goddess, I expected her to be clad in gothic black clothes, her eyes painted black, and her nose pierced in a hundred places. Who would have expected a goddess with a not-so-good reputation to be this beautiful?" A demigod seated 40,000 miles away said to his friend.
"I know. My master, the Dream god, once tried to seek her assistance, but she didn’t even turn to look at him. In fact, she didn’t even allow him entry into her god realm."
"Such a cold goddess. No wonder nobody dares mess with her."
"True. Now, I want to see why she is here."
Vexthra, despite being thousands of miles away, could hear every last word the demigods and many others were saying.
’Looks like I am completely different now.’ She said inwardly, spreading her senses to see what the many are doing.
In the past, even if she were to appear in this city, she wouldn’t let anyone see her. She would storm the palace of the Space god like she owned the place. However, she seems more down-to-earth now.
She is grounded now, and that alone is enough to tell just how much she has changed.
Suddenly, lightning flashed across the sky, causing billions to raise their heads and look. There, in the clouds, a man with bald hair and a braided beard stood on lightning, his gaze directed at Vexthra.
Lightning danced around his beard.
"Well, well, well, look what the cat drags out," Aerion Vhaldar, the storm god, said, looking coldly at Vexthra. He is among the few gods who hate the goddess of hatred and resentment.
So when he heard that she was in Spanta, he rushed over. Thankfully, he wasn’t deceived.
Vexthra stopped, raised her head, and looked at Aerion.
’Oh, he hates me for sure.’ Being the goddess with her divinity and law powered by hatred, she could sense just how much Aerion hates him.
"I am not here for your nonsense, so move out of the way before I move you."
Aerion’s eyes narrowed when he heard what Vexthra said.
RUMBLE
The weather began to change, prompting millions of people in the city to panic. Two gods clashing is more than an earthquake. They will be erased from existence before they know it.
"Aerion, behave... This is not your playground," a voice came from the mansion that was sitting on the mountain peak, spreading far and wide in many directions.
"Relax, Orion, I will be done in just a minute."
Aerion and Orion are brothers. The two go way back, so despite Orion showing he was reprimanding Aerion, he actually wanted to see some action.
Unfortunately for him, the reason why Vexthra came to Spanta is too important for her to turn around and leave.
Matters concerning Kent and her sisters are of utmost importance to her.
So she wouldn’t take any nonsense from them, even if she was there to ask for a favour.
Aerion looked at Vexthra and sneered... "You called me a dog the last time I asked for your help. Today, I will show you who the dog is."
He extended his hand and formed a ball of lightning. That ball contains the law of the storm, something that can shatter an Immortal world easily.
Vexthra didn’t move; she merely stood there. Suddenly, she felt the space around her sealed. She realised that Orion wanted to protect the city from his brother, so he sealed them in a separate space.
"Feel my law," Aerion, however, used the assurance of safety to throw the ball of storm at Vexthra.
Yet again, despite the danger coming, Vexthra remained standing. The ball rushed toward her, and just when it was about to explode, her hands moved and caught it.
She gave it a gentle squeeze, and the ball shattered.
"What?" Aerion immediately turned pale.
However, before he could retreat or attack again, Vexthra raised her left hand, and Aerion felt his body freeze. She then channeled a small portion of her divine energy and flicked her hand.
"Be gone."
In an instant, as if he were struck by a bus, Aerion’s body was hurled out of the planet and vanished from sight.
He was hurled thousands of light-years in under a second just like that.
But that wasn’t all.
The force that pushed him away was so powerful that the sealed space shattered in an instant, causing Orion to cough up a mouthful of blood, his eyes widening.
His mind went numb, unsure of how to take in what had just happened.
