Chapter 1255: End of the Massacre
Chapter 1255: End of the Massacre
"STOP"
"PLEASE... STOP"
"PLEASE..."
Screams and tears of anguish filled the small planet where Kent, in his Dragon form, was baptising the pitiful dragons in the unholy radiance of his [Primordial Chaos Soul Flames.]
Kent was not paying attention to anyone. If anything, the more they screamed, called for help, or tried to run, the more energetic he became.
It felt like their tears were fueling his flame, their pain soothing his cold heart, and their screams pushing him to do more, allowing him to incinerate the dragons’ forms.
Be it the full-on dragons, demi-dragons, and even those who lowered their forms to appear more human, Kent wasn’t discriminating.
All of them are burning, and the more he flew by, the higher the screams.
His now golden green Chaos flame was spewing everywhere, and with it, screams of pain filled everything.
Some tried to fight back. However, with Kent tapping into the combined power of 35,000 blood runes and 50,000 flame veins, all resistance was futile.
That is more than enough to give him the power to face a Spirit Immortal with complete Immortal Qi.
Naturally, that means the dragons and forsaken beings ambushing him aren’t at his level to resist. Not that anyone had a chance from the start, to begin with.
Kent played it cool at the start of the battle, not because he was weak or because he loved playing with his enemies.
Kent isn’t that. He loves to end his battles quickly and decisively. Whenever he gets an opening, he goes for the kill and always makes sure he has the upper hand.
So for him to start a battle slowly—which in fact wasn’t slow in any way, considering he killed quite a lot of dragons and even three immortals—means there is a reason.
In truth, the reason was simple. Kent placed the forsaken seer on the same level of danger as the ones he knew in the past.
He hadn’t met a forsaken seer in his life as the Chaos Dragon; however, he had met one as the Faceless Assassin, so he knew what kind of people they are.
He also researched them in that life, and from what he found, they are dangerous adversaries.
So Kent placed this one in the same category as them. He gave her a status that should’ve been worthy of her name. However, things turned out disappointing.
He expected a powerful foe, only to be disappointed.
It seemed this forsaken seer doesn’t live up to her name. A rather disappointing outcome considering a being of her calibre was supposed to give Kent a run for his money.
Of course, she came close to killing him with the core explosion. However, that was just it...a somewhat disappointing outcome.
In under 13 minutes, the remaining dragons were reduced to a pile of ash, charred meat, burnt corpses, and a lot of groaning from those who were yet to die despite being burned by Chaos Flames.
Kent’s flame had already reached a Flame Harmony stage, so it is very powerful. He made this progress during his time in hell.
Back when he was training at the core of the Damned Hell Sea, his flame comprehension reached the Perfect Harmony stage.
However, because he had yet to get the chance to comprehend the flame law, he was still stuck at the Harmony stage.
If he acquired knowledge of flame law, he would be able to elevate the rank of his flame to Absolute Flame. That would be the same stage he was lucky enough to reach after awakening his Ice element.
For now, the reason why his flame element is so much more potent in the offensive mode is that his soul flame has now become a Primordial Soul Flame.
He absorbed a high-level primordial hell flame to form his core and, in doing so, transformed his soul flame into a high-level primordial soul flame.
So, while only at the Harmony stage, the fact that the quality of his flame is actually at the High-Level Primordial Flame stage makes all the difference.
If only his Ice element were also of the same quality, then perhaps only the gods could defend against an ice blast from him.
THUD
A loud thud hit the ground as Kent descended and landed, flames burning all over his majestic dragon scales.
The only ones standing are the Forsaken Seer and the last Forsaken Immortal, who is moaning from the sheer pain he is going through at the moment.
He tried to play hero, only to get burned on his face, chest, and back.
Kent—still in his dragon form—looked down at the forsaken seer, his draconic eyes slitting as if looking into her soul. The latter looked terrified beyond her comprehension.
She doesn’t know why, but when Kent took on his dragon form, she felt deep in her blood a fear that she shouldn’t have felt... not in this body, at least.
However, as she met Kent’s chilling, draconic gaze, her fear deepened. She would love to understand everything, but in the end, she had no idea what was happening to her.
"I know you are scared of me... good. I want you scared when you wake up in your real body."
The forsaken seer narrowed her gaze, a surprising washing over her like she had heard her deepest, darkest secret.
"Don’t look so surprised. I may be a dragon, but that doesn’t mean I have a muscle for a brain. Though I have to be frank, when I first saw you, I had no idea.
I mean, how was it that a clone of a True Immortal was able to harness immortal qi? I mean, clones, unless perfect clones, shouldn’t be able to do that.
But you did. Not that it is needed, but commended at least. In any case, I only have one question before I kill you." Kent paused and let Atarah take in a deep breath since that would be her last, at least in this clone body.
Who knows how many of those she has scattered all over the universe?
"Where are the four foxkins you took from Planet Modu?" Kent asked, his tone deep like a dragon should. He had already figured out that the curse on Aala’s mother came from Atarah, so the only thing left for him was to find the others.
She looked at Kent and smirked coldly before responding... "Go to hell."
"With pleasure."
"AAAAAAAAARGH"
Screams of pain followed. Since she refused to answer, Kent didn’t waste time and engulfed both her and the last remaining forsaken immortal in flames.
He had already planted the [Soul Torture] skill in the two of them, so with their death, their memories became his. And now that he can store memories inside the [Soul Universe], he would be able to go through them slowly and efficiently.
Soon, every last soul died after Kent went all over the planet, burning everything in sight. It was after he was sure every last dragon was dead that he transformed back to his humanoid form, wings and tail deactivated.
Only his horns remained.
"What a hassle," he said, looking all over the scorched battlefield.
’Elaine, you can start healing her.’
