Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1294: Soul Explosion

Chapter 1294: Soul Explosion

The first time Kent used the [Soul Explosion] ability of his Soul Map was back in the past when he saved Princess Autumn back in the Flame Sea.

She went by Commander Agnes back then. She and her team were ambushed, and only she and one other person survived.

Back then, Kent only exploded two Tier 14 souls, but the result was overwhelming. Kent never expected the aftermath to be that devastating. He used both the physical and the soul aspects in the gory explosion.

Luckily for him, he saw firsthand what potential that ability of his has.

Today, just when he was emerging from the deep crater, he sent forth 150 Tier 21 soul spirits with absolutely no idea what would ensue.

This time, he is only going for a soul attack, meaning the power would be even greater.

He opened the soul map and spread his senses, allowing him to see the 80,000 km radius. The moment that vastness became his to see and control, he teleported the 150 Soul Spirits, spreading them in a way that they covered an 80,000 km radius.

To get the most outcome, he needed to cover a vast area. Luckily, the soul map came in handy for him.

The gap between them was vast, but he knew a Tier 21 soul spirit explosion was akin to a Tier 21 core explosion.

The only difference — and why the Tier 21 soul spirit is stronger — is that when it comes to attacks against the soul, resistance is very hard.

One struggles to defend against soul-based attacks more than physical attacks, so Kent had absolute confidence in this attack.

The moment the soul spirits were teleported to the surface, the beasts sensed it and reacted, attempting to block them. However, Kent was already a step ahead.

"Soul Explosion."

He snapped his finger, and what followed was pure chaos. A blinding white light instantly covered the entire forest, sending out a blinding solar flare that illuminated the air.

In an instant, every sound went silent, despite the soul explosion producing next to no sound. It was a silent explosion filled with so much power.

"What in the hell?" Silent Requiem, one of the Immortal Lords on the outside, muttered, forming a shield around himself, Black Arrow, and Adin.

The moment the light appeared, it illuminated the outside, unleashing a powerful soul attack that even as an Immortal Lord, he felt and reacted to shield himself and the others.

"What was that?" Adin muttered, sweat breaking on his forehead.

"Soul attack." Silent Requiem, who specialises in the soul art, was quick to pick up on the attack, causing the two assassins with him to look worried as they gazed down at the hole that had once again turned dark.

"Would Lord Faceless be okay?" Adin asked in a calm tone, though his shaken voice betrayed his composure.

"He will be fine. I don’t know how, but I believe the attack came from him, so you have nothing to worry about."

Adin nodded.

Meanwhile, back inside the forest, what could be described as utter carnage had taken place, and the bodies littering the ground were a testament.

Within an 80,000 km radius and beyond, regardless of how strong the beast was, they all lay dead, their bodies lying perfectly still as if they had merely fallen asleep.

There were no visible wounds, showing they weren’t attacked physically. However, blood kept flowing from their noses, eyes, mouths, and ears, vanishing into thin air.

Their blood essence was not being spared either. Kent was taking everything from the massacre he had committed.

The soul explosion proved more devastating than he expected. He knew things would be so simple when the soul was concerned, but he never expected this level of annihilation.

He teleported and appeared in the air, watching as thousands of beasts lay dead.

"Looks like I have earned enough blood for my blood cleansing bath," Kent muttered, looking around him inside an 80,000 km radius of his soul map.

[That is indeed true. The master has harvested enough blood for his second blood cleansing bath. However, that can be handled after the battle. There are injured beasts trying to get away, and the master cannot waste precious blood essence.]

Kent smiled and summoned Gaap. The moment the jagged living sword of his appeared, a smirk formed on his lips.

"It is time for you to harvest some resentful souls, Gaap. Make sure to saturate your resentful core before we leave this place."

"I will be sure to do more than that, Lord Kent," Gaap responded, the thick blade trembling slightly.

Deep inside the Void Temple, the demonic-looking temple master burned with rage as he watched the wasted corpse of his beast legion.

He had hoped his second attempt to kill Kent would bear fruit, only for him to be struck again where it hurt the most.

His furious gaze locked on Kent, who instantly sensed the killing intent directed at him and turned to meet his gaze. Although Kent could not see him, he knew the bastard must be burning with rage, so he further taunted him.

"Must really hurt getting your face dragged in the mud twice," Kent laughed. "Even if it doesn’t hurt, considering you might have a thick skin, there is no doubt it would be rather embarrassing to be defeated twice by a mortal.

Of course, you have nothing to be mad about since I plan on killing all the beasts in the forest before I come for you. Know that before I get to you, all beasts under your corruption will fall to my weapons."

The moment Kent finished saying that, his head turned to the west, and he smiled.

He sensed the danger coming, and he knew the shameless temple master had made his third move. The beasts that had fallen were a huge blow to his ego; however, he had an insurance policy for that, too.

From four different directions, four harrowing beasts slowly advanced toward him.

"Looks like we have company." Kent’s cotton-like cloak armour appeared around his body, millions of runes activating within it, turning the ordinary cotton cloak into sturdy armour that rivalled several metallic armours.

Kent tightened his hold of Gaap and looked toward the west.

The Void Howler Beast advanced in silent steps as its hollow eyes gazed deep into Kent’s soul, an untamed fury burning in those sockets.

However, Kent seemed unfazed. Instead, he pointed his sword at it and muttered to the temple master, who was watching everything.

"Thank you for sending them to me early. I will make things quickl"

The moment Kent said that, he disappeared, only to reappear 30 km away from the Void Howler Beast. The other three beasts, seeing that he had isolated one of them, moved at great speed to block him.

However, inside the soul map, Kent is faster than a god.

He lifted his sword into the air and brought it down in a single terrible slash, sending out a 100-meter-wide black crescent sword arc.

At first, when the sword arc left the sword, the Void Howler Beast sensed no threat. However, the moment it gained some ground, it sensed the danger coming and quickly made plans to evade.

However, the [Void Cleave] sword attack had already locked onto its body. There was no evading it, only defending.

But the longer the Void Cleave attack travelled, the stronger it got. So by the time it reached the Void Howler Beast, it had become a terribly strong sword arc, one that the Void Howler Beast never saw coming.
