Chapter 1296: Four Vs One (2)

Chapter 1296: Four Vs One (2)

The shark beast dropped like a collapsing mountain, its shadow pressing down on Kent. The stars only know how it was able to jump that high.

However, it was clear was also determined to crash into Kent, and with a body about 600 meters long and several thousand pounds in weight, Kent would be an idiot if he let it fall on him.

"How can there be such colossal beasts in a high world? I thought these were only found in immortal and god worlds," Kent muttered, changing his stance.

He seemed to have a change of mind just when the shadow of the beast had completely enveloped him. Hoping to use blood runes is a foolish move, and so he changed his mind at the last second.

He vanished and reappeared above it, one foot stepping onto the thick hide between its first and second horn. The beast’s singular eye widened, sensing him only after he had already moved.

"Gaap," Kent whispered, his voice calm amidst the chaos.

The jagged blade trembled, releasing a wave of resentful sword aura.

Kent swung downward with a devastating force.

A massive arc of black-red energy ripped into the beast’s skull. However, what Kent anticipated didn’t happen. In fact, it felt more like he had fallen into a trap despite managing to injure it.

Just when his sword sank into the thick skull of the Seven-Horn Nightmare Devastating Shark Beast, a powerful ice-cold tail slash slammed into his back, sending him flying in the direction of the Solar-Pelt Lion, its entire body engulfed in flames.

"Interesting," Kent smirked, watching as his body slammed into a pillar of fire manifested into being by the Solar-Pelt Lion.

Kent’s body tore through the blazing pillar, fire curling around him like ravenous serpents eager to devour his flesh. The Solar-Pelt Lion didn’t hesitate to attack a second time.

It pounced, claws wrapped in molten flames as if it intended to carve Kent into chunks midair.

The perfect coordination between it and the Abyssal Frost Serpent pushed Kent to a corner; however, to their shock, the bastard held a smile on his face.

Just when the claw was inches away, Kent simply rotated once, letting the fire trail along his cloak-like armour, runes flaring violently as they drank in the heat rather than resisted it.

’Looks like breaking four more limits on my body had boosted my speed and strength to unimaginable levels,’

He was body slammed twice just now, but he didn’t seem to feel any pain. And while he didn’t see the first tail attack coming, he saw the second clawed attack, and to be frank, he saw it in slow-mo.

It was like the moment he was struck, his body adjusted to speed, allowing him to see his next attack come at him slowly.

’If I have become this fast without flame veins or the Jade Void Wings, then who knows how fast I would become with all two active’

The crackling flames dimmed around him the moment he stabilised himself. It looked like the stylish cloak, like armour, he had on lived up to its hype.

The armour is a gift from Vexthra, reinforced by Alina.

The amount of runes etched into it is enough to take on an attack from all three beasts without sustaining any injury.

It is also a soul relic, so with enough soul essence, it can repair itself. Naturally, Kent has a universe full of soul essence.

"Tsk. You’re all really trying today," Kent muttered, rolling his shoulder as if the tail strike and flames were nothing more than gentle taps.

The Solar-Pelt Lion roared before its mane erupted, sending burning fragments of solar energy spiralling through the forest like miniature suns falling from the sky.

Each fragment detonated on impact, turning the battlefield into a land of erupting craters. The already formed craters from Kent’s meteor shower were being widened further.

As Kent watched the detonations move toward him, he knew if he didn’t end this fast, he would be in trouble. At this point, he had already seen that all three beasts weren’t his match at all.

He is someone who should be fighting immortals. The level-up and limits broken had increased his strength, speed, stamina, and defence to the point that he was overpowering Death-stage beasts.

He had yet to use his [Flame Veins], [Blood Seals], [Jade Void Wings], [Dragon Wings], [Dragon form], [Flame Element] and [His Flame Technique], yet he is in no way feeling the heat he expected.

He is still holding back, and that alone shows he has become too powerful.

Seeing the flame detonating toward him, he made his move.

"Here we go."

Kent vanished again, reappearing on the lion’s back before the beast could even register his presence. Gaap hummed eagerly in his hand, hungry for blood, hungry for resentment, hungry for something only a battlefield like this could offer.

The blade descended toward the Solar-Pelt Lion’s spine—only for a thick shadow to coil around Kent’s arm like a living chain.

This time, too, Kent didn’t see the attack, something that baffled him. However, while he could have evaded, he let himself be caught since he had made up his mind to kill the serpent first.

The serpent’s icy breath washed over Kent’s body, frost blooming on his armour, freezing the ground with it.

Kent’s entire arm stiffened as the serpent yanked him off the lion’s back and hurled him through the air.

He crashed into a mountain of charred timber, exploding through it and out the other side. If this were before he broke the limits on his body, he would have harnessed blood runes to take on this fall.

But now, he took it like a man.

Kent skidded across the splintered ground, stopping only when he willed himself to stop. But when he came to a stop, he saw all three beasts charging at him from three directions.

And yet, he was smiling.

"Time to kill you all." His grip tightened on Gaap. Then he unleashed his Level 6 Heavenly Blood Sword Aura. In an instant, the entire air turned sharp like a sword.

Kent then tapped into his incomplete sword realm and activated the sword realm he stole from Adrian. Well, Jest stole it, and he inherited.

"Broken Sword Realm."

The moment he activated the sword realm, a vast crimson battlefield under a blood-red sky appeared, changing the environment.

Broken blades littered the ground like gravestones, while countless shattered swords floated in the air, responding to Kent’s intent.

The moment the three beasts were caught inside the domain, their death was sealed in stone.

Kent’s sword aura enveloped the broken swords, causing the thousands of them to activate. What followed was complete annihilation as thousands of swords rained down on the three beasts.

They all tried to defend, raising defences to block the swords. However, after a few minutes of relentless assault, they all succumbed, showing just how dangerous Adrian’s sword realm, which had been copied by Lord Genesis, had become in Kent’s hand.

By the time the sword realm was deactivated, all three beasts had died a rather gruesome death, their bodies littered with countless stab wounds.
