Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1322: Pissed

Chapter 1322: Pissed

Kent became furious after discovering that the 3rd temple master had no storage pouch on him, unlike the last two he had faced. Clearly, he never expected him to be this broke.

This pisses him off.

’Did he destroy his pouch and its contents before I arrived?’ Kent thought, trying to make sense of why the third temple master had no storage pouch.

It doesn’t make sense that he wouldn’t have such a valuable item. Even worse, he never expected him to actually destroy his storage pouch.

Naturally, such an item contains his valuables, so destroying it means losing everything. Obviously, he, as a Spirit Immortal, wouldn’t go to that extreme when he believed himself to possess the power to kill Kent.

What if, after he killed him, he had already destroyed his treasures?

That would be too stupid, and he knew that.

So the only logical explanation was that he had no treasure on him, and as such, he had no need for a storage pouch. But if that is indeed the case, then not only had he really walked into battle unprepared, but he actually had confidence he would win.

He saw no need to have a treasure on him aside from his chains and his own true strength. That is a lot to consider.

"I am happy I used him as a scapegoat to teach the last two remaining Temple masters that I am not to be messed with. He served his purpose at least," Kent said, flying around the third floor.

Gaap transformed into his demonic humanoid form, flying beside him.

"So that was the reason why you made him recover only to be beaten up over and over again," Gaap asked, feeling happy he got to vent his frustration from the earlier chain attack that Kent used him to block.

"Yeah, I did. He and the others are just too weak to make me flinch, so I sent a message making them aware that, regardless of their resistance, I will be able to kill them. It would be better if they just allowed me to behead them and be done with things."

Saturating his cores had given him the confidence he lacked when he learned he would be challenging the void temple. He never, for one moment, saw himself as worthy of braving such a challenge.

However, now, he seems much more eager to face them, knowing that if he puts his all into it, none of them would come close to challenging him.

He is just too strong for them.

The blood runes he had awakened are just too overpowered. Applying them to his attacks had boosted the damage output by so much that even a Spirit Immortal with three immortal rings couldn’t handle it.

"I just hope the 4th temple master would be able to put up a fight," Kent smirked and continued to look around.

[Core of the Universe]

Lady Universe, the Enchantress, Fate, Destiny and Karma were left stunned after watching Kent’s last two battles. The first battle was an easy win for him. However, they at least expected him to face some resistance from the second and third temple masters.

However, from what they’ve seen so far, he seems to be doing better than one would expect.

He had only recently become a Peak Heavenly Ascension stage warrior. So, regardless of how monstrous a person is, they shouldn’t have the power to fight immortals.

Yet Kent did, and from the look of things, he had accumulated so much power that they were not even aware of it. Of course, they aren’t aware of everything about him; however, they never expected him to win the battles this easily.

"Looks like somebody would be crying blood soon", Destiny teased, looking subtly in the direction of Karma. She is probably happier than shocked to see how domineering Kent is.

She and Karma are always on the neck of each other, so this felt like the best gift she could ever receive. Making Karma feel miserable and angry is her passion.

"Looks like we truly looked down on him. It seems he is much more powerful than he was during the primordial era," Lady Universe said, sounding both happy and a little sad.

She is happy to see Kent succeed. However, she is very sad simply because it was her decision to play a game with Chaos that lad led to this very moment.

Kent’s life is tied to the universe, so, regardless of what he wants, he would be forced to rise to the occasion when the danger finally arrives.

So her sadness stemmed from her decision to make Kent the centre of the Universe.

"Does this mean he is much stronger than a Spirit Immortal?" Destiny asked, unsure of an answer. If this were someone other than Kent, she would have had an answer to her question. But Kent is an anomaly.

"He isn’t stronger than Spirit Immortals, he just hasn’t met his match yet," Karma of all cosmic beings answered, making Destiny smirk and turn away.

"Karma is correct. There are many powerful beings out there that can easily make him powerless. However, that also doesn’t mean he isn’t powerful." Fate said, and both Lady Universe and the Enchantress nodded.

There are indeed powerful beings out there.

"Of course, if he were to become an Immortal himself, then perhaps his dominance would be on a whole different level", Fate suddenly added. But he wasnt done...

"The reason why he would be powerless before some immortals is due to the Immortal Qi he cannot harness. We both know Immortal qi is something only immortals can wield, so if he were to meet someone who has a much deeper understanding of Immortal qi, then he would be in danger.

A typical example was himself during the primordial Era. You all saw how he wielded the immortal Qi in combat. Even I was stunned by how flawlessly he handled that.

So you can imagine just how that would translate this time around if he were to meet someone who is even half as good as the Primordial Chaos Dragon."

His explaination seem to put things in order. The mere fact that Kent is having a good run can end at any moment when he meets someone who knows what they are doing.

"yeah well, I have all the faith in him, and I am sure he would make some bastard who can’t let go of the past cry blood" Destiny giggles and pops a lollipop into her mouth, taking her attention from Karma.

She pretended like she hadnt just teased him.

The other just smiled and decided to forget about the two of them and focus more on the scene showing Kent landing atop a canopy-like rock.

He had searched everywhere but found no elemental source. "Looks like the source of blood isn’t here. Perhaps I was expecting too much, so this is kind of a wake-up call for me not to be too greedy"

He smiled and turned to gap... "Are you ready for the 4th floor?"

"Born ready. I just hope there will be a tough challenge so I can wield my powers some more."

"I suppose we can find out by entering the portal"

Gaap nodded and transformed into his sword form and flew into Kent’s firm grip. Soon, they entered the portal and were ready to kick ass.
