The sea churned, water boiling as if set on fire.
Suddenly, a devastating explosion rocked it, sending a powerful fluctuation travelling several thousand miles.
From the water, Neomi jumped out, her body littered with cuts. Her armour was shredded and melted at some spot, exposing her skin. Both cuts and burn marks could be seen on her body.
However, despite the injuries she had received, a smile remained on her face.
As to why she seemed happy to be hurt in more than one place, that answer came when the abyssal leviathan appeared, its body sustaining even more injuries than Neomi.
Even worse, judging by how deep some of the cuts were, one could only wonder just how Neomi was able to inflict them.
It just doesn’t make any sense.
She held a spear that, while it was a bit longer, shouldn’t be enough for her to inflict these gory wounds on such a colossal beast whose body is covered in a rather hard carapace made purely of metal.

The leviathan let out a powerful roar, its body radiating heat.
"No need to struggle. The poison has already taken effect, so regardless of what you do, I will win in the end."
Neomi pointed her spear at the leviathan. A wave of spear Qi coated it, then with a sudden dash, she closed the gap between them. The leviathan tried to attack with a breath attack, but Neomi was already a step ahead.
She used a movement technique that enabled her to teleport to the Leviathan’s tail. She stabbed her spear forward, and a 300-meter-long manifestation of her spear appeared, stabbing into the tail.
The creature let out a powerful roar and shook its body, causing the space to vibrate. It whipped its tail back, hoping to swat Neomi away; however, she was long gone, appearing overhead with yet another attack.
However, just when the attack was coming toward the leviathan’s head, another version of her appeared at the tail of the leviathan and attacked using the same stabbing attack she had used a couple of seconds ago.
Even better, the attack was aimed at the spot she had just attacked.
The spear landed, carving deep wounds into the leviathan’s already injured body.
The same attack had been used many times, which, judging by how deep the wounds on its body were, suggests that Neomi had used the same technique each time.
Whenever she attacks, the previous attacks come again.
The same thing happened when she went in for another attack.
She aimed for the side of the Leviathan; however, a version of her appeared at the tail and another at the head, which she had just attacked.
All three attacks landed on the colossal body of the leviathan, causing the injuries to become much deeper.
Neomi used the advantage she had to her benefit. She went in again, and as she expected, things played out the same way.
After managing to land dozens of attacks, she moved back, gasping for breath.
Just like how all of her sisters had awakened powerful innate abilities, she had also awakened quite a few.
One of them is called [Repeat]. It allows her to repeat an action she has been performing for the last 10 minutes continuously for as long as she can.
Neomi knew she was no match for this leviathan, especially while in the water. So she used the poison that Princess Lovina had prepared for her to poison the water.
This was so that they could take the battle outside. However, while inside the water, she activated the [Repeat] innate ability, which aided her in inflicting more injuries on the leviathan.
Since an attack can be repeated, she had the chance to attack the same place continuously, hence the deep wounds on its body.
She also sustained some injuries, but with the leviathan poisoned, she slowly gained the upper hand. As time passed, the poison took effect, paralyzing it bit by bit.
Of course, with such a dangerous target, Neomi had no plans to be complacent, so she made sure that no matter what, as long as the leviathan still breathed, she would not slow down.
From several locations, her sisters and friends started to appear. Kaizo was the first to arrive and stopped 4 km away, watching as Neomi slowly devastated the leviathan with her attacks.
Elsa, Mara, and Lilian arrived next, followed by Miryssa and Yuyin.
The two of them also appeared in the same place; however, unlike Elsa and Mara, who had to fight their way toward Lilian, they faced no opponents.
Also, unlike with Vexthra, Miryssa did not suppress her cultivation from the Universal God stage to True Immortal; she remained a god.
Maybe that was why they were never attacked.
After them, Selene and Yi Lai arrived, riding on one of Yi Lai’s undead dragons.
They had their fair share of opponents. However, with how much power they were both packing, even the last True Immortal they met was defeated in under a minute.
A few others soon arrived, each wearing a shocked expression at the sight of Neomi single-handedly inflicting such gory wounds on the leviathan.
"I guess it is normal since, when all things are considered, she can be said to have the most experience when it comes to combat," Mara said...

She had never lost in a duel against any of her sisters, so over time, they all came to the conclusion that she was a dangerous person to face in battle.
Even Vexthra recognized her battle intelligence, so seeing her run circles around the leviathan, while shocking, considering she is but a bug before such a colossal beast, the mere fact that she single-handedly dealt all this damage is both shocking and admirable.
"I wonder just what kind of monster she would become once she becomes an immortal," Lilian said with a smile.
They all wanted to find out. Neomi is not the most talented, not when there is someone like Kent running around. But they want to see what she could accomplish when she becomes an immortal one day.
They know she was once a general who led the campaign against the Calamity Beasts in her past life. So they want to see what would become of her in this life, too.
After a couple more minutes, the leviathan couldn’t hold on much longer and died. Neomi drove her spear through its thick skull, ending its pitiful existence for good.
Elaine quickly rushed over and started healing her.
"That was awesome, Lady Neomi. Maybe we should have a duel one of these days," Kaizo said, walking toward the leviathan’s body.
The first thing that came to mind when he arrived on the scene was how much fun it would be to punch the leviathan until it dropped dead.
He still hadn’t recovered from how disappointing Titan was, so the leviathan’s colossal and hard-skinned body got to him. Unfortunately, he could only watch as it was brought down a peg until it couldn’t hold on much longer.
"Kaizo dear, maybe pick a fight with big sister Vexthra first before you seek out Neomi. Trust me, she is more dangerous than she looks," Elsa said, applying her own healing abilities to Neomi.
"Elsa is right, Kaizo. Neomi is not an opponent you can handle, not when she can kill you without you knowing how."
The ladies around laughed. Kaizo, on the other hand, merely shook his head and smiled. He had seen what Neomi can do, but nobody had seen what he is capable of as well.
"Where are you, ladies?" Suddenly, Vexthra’s voice entered her sisters’ heads. The next second, she appeared beside them on the island.
