Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1427: Mission Completed

Chapter 1427: Mission Completed

The moment Vexthra arrived, the others began to appear one by one. Some came in pairs and others alone. However, in no time, everyone except Kent, Unity, and Veera appeared.

Vexthra reached out to Veera, who replied and said that she was in the middle of something and that they shouldn’t worry about her.

Vexthra believed her. After all, she has 5 True Immortals as her guards. Even if an Immortal Lord were to ambush her, she would have ample time to make a run for it.

She was one of the seven selected to kill the Seven Calamity Beasts. Her opponent was an Insect Queen who had thousands of subordinates to fight for her.

Unfortunately for her, Veera also has thousands of undead under her command. Even better, she has five True Immortals and two Core Immortals under her command.

When she sensed her opponent’s location and sent her five True Immortals after her, the Ant Queen had already made a move on her by sending over a hundred Ant Warriors after her.

However, while a Heavenly Ascension Stage warrior would find those ants threatening, Veera remained very calm when they arrived.

She sent out her two Core Immortal undead, which she created by combining fifteen Heavenly Ascension Stage undead Angels. The ones formed are, in fact, powerful beyond normal understanding.

She is sure that one day, the Angel Race will come after her for creating a new breed of angels.

In less than a minute, they killed over thirty ants each within the ranks of Heavenly Ascension Stage and Core Immortal.

The moment they died, Veera used her necromancy powers on them, bringing them back from the dead. They came back with the ranks they had before dying. This gave her the power to easily handle the ants attacking her, and she quickly dealt with the rest.

In under twenty minutes, she killed all the ants, and one of her undead True Immortals killed the Ant Queen.

When she died, instead of leaving, Veera decided to take advantage of the bodies of the ants she and her undead had killed.

They are powerful, and considering what she is capable of, she can create powerful undead warriors from them.

Later, while exploring the abandoned city, she discovered something huge.

There, hidden underground, were thousands of eggs, each housing a powerful Metallic Jade Ant. The ones she had killed were metallic in nature, and hidden underground were thousands more of them.

Veera grew excited, so she entered and began experimenting. She started by taking control of two eggs. Then, channeling her necrotic Qi, she merged them together, which hatched into a unique kind of ant, one that was both alive and dead.

It came out as a Death Stage ant. That was something she never expected to happen. However, with that success, she started working on creating a new breed of undead.

Until she is done, she won’t be going back.

Vexthra reached out to Kent, who told her he was fine and would be coming over in a couple of minutes.

The only person who didn’t reply was Unity. However, since the tower connection had been reestablished, she used the harem connection to sense her location.

She teleported there only to find Unity cocooned in a golden shell. Knowing she was in no harm, she created a containment formation around her before leaving.

She realized Unity had already received what this floor had for her, so the least they could do was wait for her to finish whatever she had going on before they climbed to the 10th floor.

A few minutes later, Kent joined them on the island.

He was happy to see that everyone was safe and happy.

This mission had been a weird one. However, after hearing what they all went through, he realized that, if they had not come in time, this mission would have created an even bigger problem.

The Calamity Era was just like any other era. However, when the Calamity Beasts came, the universe wasn’t prepared.

Unlike the Dark Era and many others that saw the Universe prepare for an invasion, the Calamity Era brought the universe to the brink of extinction.

Had it not been for brave warriors like Rakshasa, Runnatu, and Grim Singer stepping in, the universe would have fallen into the hands of the Calamity Race.

In the end, just like what happened during the Primordial Era, the Calamity Beasts were driven back to where they came from.

However, since they once found their way into this universe, nothing is stopping them from coming back. In fact, they will return, and this time with deadly force.

This mission was to prevent them from coming back. The seven Calamity Beasts they had killed were like keys meant to open the gateway to the Calamity Realm.

If the planet had undergone its evolution with them on it, it would have been too late for Kent and his team to do anything. If they had been twelve years later, things would have turned out differently.

Thankfully, he and his legion came just in time to prevent a calamity.

But how many more calamities are out there waiting to happen? They prevented one from happening this time, but would they be present for the next one?

"Let’s take the win this time. Who knows, one day we will find a way to put a stop to all kinds of invasions this universe will go through," Kent said, putting the minds of his ladies and legion at ease.

"Hopefully."

"Master, would you be joining us when we climb to the 10th floor?" Kaizo asked, already prepared for the next floor.

"No, buddy. I have some business to handle out there, so the rest will be handled by you and the others."

He nodded.

"So are you leaving?" Velyra asked, holding Kent’s left hand while Lilian cuddled in his right arm.

"Yeah. The sooner I get that stuff out of the way, the faster I can come back here and clear the remaining floors with you."

Kent had already made plans for the next couple of months, so he was already prepared to go back. He had mastered Tier 13 pills. The only thing left was refining the Azure Pill Ring for it, then he would move to Tier 14 and hopefully Tier 15.

Once he was back from Planet Brymrr, he would resume that and make sure he became a Pill Sovereign before ascending to the Immortal World.

After spending a couple of hours with them, he left. He first checked on Unity before heading back to the tower.

Before heading to Planet Bayla to meet the midnight shadows, Kent decided to check out the Death Star Cannon he had created and his Soul Warriors, for whom he had received confirmation that they were done being created.

Calix only underwent a breakthrough to the Root Immortal Stage. However, the last two were new creations that he had yet to name and review their abilities and Aspects.

So he entered the Soul Universe to handle that.

After he was gone, Vexthra led everyone back to where Unity’s cocoon was and handed them the reward for clearing this floor. They had already used the rewards from the previous floors.

This time around, they received three rewards: Limit Breaker Key, Innate Talent Awakening Pill, and Bloodline Strengthening Elixir.

She shared them, and they all got busy. Since Unity was not finished with her cultivation, they would stay inside the planet until she finished, then they would head to the 10th floor.

---

Meanwhile, in an unknown place on the planet, an Immortal Monarch slowly opened his eyes, an evil smile tugging at his lips.

Hovering beside him was a sword coated in blood. If Unity were to see this sword, she would recognize it as the one that left the cut on the Goblin King’s chest.

It was that cut that gave her an upper hand in her battle with the Goblin King.

He looked into the distance and muttered, "Let the hunting begin."

He vanished from his chair, and the sword vanished along with him.

Back in the forest, Axiom grinned and secretly sent a message to Kol and Kailan. A few seconds later, they snuck away, making sure nobody saw them leave.
