Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1472: Proving His Identity

Chapter 1472: Proving His Identity

If there is one world where Kent’s name will be known by all, then it is the world that gave birth to the first person to immortalize their name on the Sword Dao Tablet.

Jest, popularly known as Lord Genesis, was the first person to be recognized by the Sword Dao, and he came from planet Brymrr.

He had left an impact on swordsmen. So after him, every other name that appears on the Sword Dao Tablet is respected.

Kent is the 14th name to appear on the Sword Dao Tablet, and that is something nobody saw coming, especially when the first 13 were all swordsmen widely known before they appeared on the tablet.

Just like every other world, this one too is looking for him, so the fact that he now stood before Fallon and Aysel with a smile on his face said everything there is to know.

"Prove it."

Aysel said, walking toward Kent. She stopped beside her sister and added, "Prove you are Kent Madson, and we will spare you."

Her nature as the sin of gluttony cannot be known by others, else she would be in trouble. However, Kent Madson is a legend, and so they can give him the benefit of the doubt.

Naturally, this was also their own way of saving their skin. Kent had already appeared on the Three Dao Tablets. This means he has a powerful background. So if he is indeed who he said he is, asking for his help would go a long way.

"How do you suppose I should go about proving myself?" he asked, not particularly bothered. If he wants to leave, with the Soul Map opened, he can simply teleport away.

He is certain they wouldn’t chase after him, not when it would create so much chaos and expose them to more eyes.

Aysel looked at her sister, who gave her a slight nod. She nodded back and walked toward Kent. She extended her tiny arm, her palm facing outward.

"Place your palm on mine and say your name." She narrowed her big brown eyes and added, "If you are who you said you are, nothing will happen to you. However, if you lie, your soul will be devoured in less than a second."

Kent smiled a little, a bit taken aback by her ability. While he is not lying about who he is, the mere fact that Aysel has such an ability made him wonder just what goes into being one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

’She is probably a part-cosmic being to possess such a power that even the Tower can’t see through.’

With that thought in mind, he extended his hand and placed it on Aysel’s. He took a deep breath and spoke the magic words.

"My name is Kent Madson. I have appeared on the Sword, Ice, and Pill Dao Tablets. I have no plans on hurting Aysel and Fallon since I consider them friends."

A second passed, but nothing happened to Kent. This caused Aysel and her sister to narrow their eyes at him. To be safe, she remained vigilant for a few more seconds before Aysel pulled back.

She turned and looked at her sister. "Big Brother is telling the truth. Big Brother is indeed Kent Madson that we heard about."

Kent flashed them the told-you smile. "As I said, I have no plans on hurting you. I am here on a mission, but I am currently in a bind. To get out of it, I need to become popular, and that can be achieved through painting.

I can also tell you that the two of you are hiding from something, or perhaps someone. So, how about we help each other? You allow me to join your team, and in return, I will make sure you and Aysel never have to worry about anything ever again.

You will have a safe place to sleep, and Aysel will have all the food in the universe to eat."

The two sisters turned and looked at each other again. Aysel even moved her head toward the almost empty bowl of fruit. Recalling how delicious it was, her insatiable hunger started to cloud her judgment.

"Why even help us? You have the talent to become popular on your own. You can just buy a few canvases, a few paints, and a brush, and the rest will be magic.

So why bother asking for our help?" She sighed and smiled. "As you said, I am mediocre at best. Before this painting ordeal, I was a collector. I collected paintings for rich and powerful people.

However, now, to survive, I had to channel my love for paintings into making a few spirit stones to live by. I am no painter. I cannot help you in any way, and neither can Aysel, so why help us?"

Kent smirked and looked at Aysel. "First of all, even if I had no reason to help you, I cannot turn away from a loli. She is just too cute that I want to squeeze her in my arms all day long.

Honestly, I don’t know why, but I find myself surrounded by cute little humans like her. They are a bit stubborn, but they are good people. Aysel will fit right in.

Second, knowing she is a Sin means she would always be in danger. Luckily, I happen to have a place where she will be safe for as long as she wishes to stay there."

He turned toward Fallon. "Third, I need your expertise as a warrior. I may not look like it, but I can read people, and you, my dear, are not rainbows and sunshine. I see you have killed your fair share of people. This only means you are a warrior.

I need you by my side. Where I may end up if my plans don’t work out will be dangerous. However, with you by my side, I will feel safe."

His eyes moved toward her chest area, causing Fallon to use her hand to cover the glistening surface of her breasts. "Who knows what else would happen?" Kent laughed, and Aysel laughed too.

Fallon ignored them and adjusted her clothes, hoping to cover the glistening surface of her breasts. After failing a few times, she stopped and turned to Kent.

"The people after us are dangerous. We started this journey with our entire family, but only the two of us are left. Aysel is everything to me, so if allying with you will make her safe, then I accept.

However, be warned, even if you were to put her somewhere she will be safe, as a Sin, she is bound to rub off her bad luck on you. So are you sure you want to become allies with us?"

"Of course. I wouldn’t miss a chance to give Gaia and her band of troublemakers one more friend. Also, I want to know you more, so a little trouble here and there won’t hurt."

Fallon gave him a suspicious look but said nothing.

Seeing this, Kent smiled. He knew what had to be done next. However, before he could take action, his sixth sense flared, causing him to push Fallon to the side just as a dagger grazed his left cheek.

He landed on his left foot, then, using the Soul Map, teleported to Aysel and grabbed her hand.

He wished to pull her away, but before he could move, a dark-cloaked Immortal Lord appeared from the shadows, their dagger humming with darkness.
