Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1535: Uncle Drake’s Revenge

Chapter 1535: Uncle Drake’s Revenge

Uncle Drake’s return to the tower again brought waves of joy to everyone.

Kent’s wives, who had known and interacted with him back in the Sonox, were happy to see him again, and so were some of the legion.

Not all of them are familiar with him, but the majority of them are, and so his presence brought them waves of happiness.

Uncle Drake had briefly lived and fought beside them during the clash with the Ancient Sea Race and the Ancient Vampires. It was a dreadful battle that claimed the lives of many but also brought everyone together.

Shortly after the battle, however, Uncle Drake vanished.

Seeing him back, and as an Immortal Monarch no less, made them all happy. Kent was also happy to see the Drake he had helped become a dragon back when he and the selected few from the Half-Elf race ventured into the Flame Valley, now back by his side.

They spent some time inside the Legion Tower catching up with everyone. Soon, however, the two of them moved to the Mountain Garden to have a proper talk.

Kent had some things—in fact, he had quite a lot of things to do—so he had no plans to waste any time.

Appearing in the Mountain Garden, Uncle Drake regarded the four cities in the distance and smiled.

"I like what you have done with the place, Chaos. The last time I was here, there was only a small mansion standing somewhere over there."

Kent nodded. "Indeed, I have come a long way. But the same can be said of you. You are now an Immortal Monarch, though I can’t say I am surprised, considering I suspect you have all your memories back."

Kent walked to a swinging chair and sat down, letting his leg drift in the air a few times. "Dare I ask what happened, Uncle Drake? The last time we talked, you said you were taking a short trip. That was three years ago.

Now, you have become an Immortal monarch and seem to be on a path of revenge, something I know you do only if the offense is grave and cannot be forgiven. What happened?"

Drawing on his memories of when he and Uncle Drake were pals, he knew that if his old friend were to return to his former cold, ruthless self, this universe would soon go up in flames.

"A lot had indeed happened, Chaos. I did take a short trip; however, that trip turned out to be the beginning of a journey that thrust me back into the dreadful life I had once lived."

Uncle Drake also sat down and started to reveal what happened.

"I had planned to stay in Sonox for the 1,000 years I promised. However, that changed when I battled with Leviathan. During our battle, he attacked me with a mental attack. Of course, I survived; however, that was when everything changed.

Although I survived that mental attack, after the battle, I started to see these flashes in my mind.

Most of these flashes contained the name of a planet. At first, I pushed them aside and decided to spend the next 1,000 years in Sonox as I had planned. However, I soon realized doing so would be torture.

It was then that I decided to find out what was wrong with my memories.

So, after healing Leviathan, I made him the new guardian and left for the planet I kept seeing in my memories. It took me a few months, but I eventually found it.

That was when everything changed.

The moment I stepped on that planet, I felt all these memories rushing back to me. In those memories, I saw a life I had once lived, a life filled with so many experiences.

It took a while to make sense of it. But when I did, I saw the whole picture. I was the Flame King, the one who commanded one of the Sacred Flames—the Flames of Immortality.

After I recovered my memories, I knew I had to seek out my subordinates, who had been promised by you that they would reincarnate one day in the future."

"I did, didn’t I?" Kent smiled, his mind going back to the moment the 12 Universe Guardians abandoned the Universe and used the gift bestowed on them by the Heart of the Universe to ascend to the ????? universe.

He saw no end to the chaos, and so he turned to his friend, Ignarax, and asked him something nobody in their right mind would accept.

Ignarax, however, did—he accepted to ignite the Flame of Immortality and burned away the karma of all tainted souls, finally unleashing the immolating Flames of Immortality.

His request, however, was for his 24 Dragon Guards to have a good life in their next life. Chaos accepted his request and made him an even better promise.

He promised to reincarnate their souls alongside his somewhere in the future.

"I guess you did. I soon found Daliah, who had been looking for me too. It turns out that when they died, one of her shadows, still holding a flicker of her soul, remained hidden in my shoulder, allowing her to hear our last conversation, and so when she was reborn, she started to look for me.

When we reunited, she took me to Umai."

"Umai, she was the Crystal Dragon, if I remember correctly."

"Indeed. She had also reincarnated and had made a life for herself. She founded a Dragon Enclave and had been going all over the universe rescuing stray dragons and looking after them."

Kent smiled. "She was always the caring one. Sometimes I wonder why she chose to follow you."

Uncle Drake smiled and said in a guilty tone, "I happen to be the killer of her two brothers and father. You can say she was my slave for a few hundred thousand years, but we later reconciled, and she became my greatest soldier."

"You were indeed a scum of society back then. No wonder I tried killing you many times."

They regarded each other, then burst into resounding laughter.

The Flame King was indeed a plague for the better half of his life during the Primordial Era. However, that is all in the past now. He had paid his dues with his life, buying Chaos ample time to unleash the Spell of Origin.

"When I met her, she happened to have found one of my Flame Hearts and prepared treasures for me to ascend to the rank of an Immortal so I could absorb it. Since my foundation is still strong—even stronger than before—I swiftly leveled up.

After a year and a half, I reached the Core Immortal stage, so I decided to absorb the Flame Heart.

Nothing, however, prepared me for what happened when I entered seclusion. It turned out that a dragon prince from a rather powerful dragon family learned of the Flame Heart in my possession and mobilized three other Demigods to help him claim it.

Their attack was sudden and devastating. In the end, they failed and were repelled by Daliah and Umai. However, three kids under Umai’s care died in the clash, and Umai was gravely injured.

After I was done absorbing the Flame Heart, I made provision for her and the kids and embarked on a revenge mission to kill those four scums.

The first one was the tattooed guy I killed on Planet Skar. It took some time to track him down, but I did, and thanks to your power, I was able to slay him.

I still have three more to kill. For now, I will bide my time and locate them. Daliah had already sent her shadows to track them down."

Kent sighed. "Sorry to hear about Umai and her kids. Of course, while I can’t actively aid you in the search for the three Demigods, I can help with Umai and her kids. If you want, they can move in here and stay with my people."
