Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1554: Forming the First Chaos Heart (10)

Chapter 1554: Forming the First Chaos Heart (10)

He slashed his sword downward, and a deadly arc flashed out, leaving trails of red lightning in its wake.

Already, the golden dragon was being besieged by thousands of spears and a sea of swords fashioned from sword aura and augmented by sword intent. So when the sword arc closed in on it, it had little to no time to react.

So the sword attack landed on its body, cutting a deep wound into it.

But Kent had only begun.

He moved, and before long, hundreds of sword arcs appeared, each finding its mark on the golden dragon’s body. The air had turned into a canvas, sword arcs painting beautiful images on it.

On the ground, the Master of Purgatory continued to smile as he watched this.

Vexthra and her sisters were the same. The only one with a frown was Ainna, who hoped Kent would get trashed some more. Now, he seemed to have found his groove.

He kept switching between Chaos, Faceless, and Jest.

When a deadly attack closed in on him, he would turn into a shadow and become intangible. This allowed him to avoid almost all the attacks that were aimed at him.

Then, with his Jest form, he allowed his sword to speak for him. Of course, with his sword ranking, he wasn’t having much success in that form. However, that changed nothing because, from what he had seen so far, the True Sword Energy he had awakened had made it so he could deal more devastating attacks.

However, where he lacked in his Jest form, his Chaos form compensated for that.

"He is just a Heavenly Ascension stage cultivator, yet he fights like a True Immortal. What a monster," Ainna muttered, a little bit too loudly. Inaya smirked.

"You haven’t seen anything yet. Or do you think I ran to him when that Sword God was after me because of his good looks? I knew he was the only one in the universe who could help."

She had nothing to say about that, so she could only continue to watch.

Hours passed by, yet Kent hadn’t managed to bring down the dragon. However, by now, he had seen some patterns and had created a perfect counter to all of them.

First, he rendered the dragon’s tail attacks useless by making sure that every time, his body turned to shadows. Thankfully, he had more than enough shadows at his disposal.

So he wasn’t being bothered by that anymore.

Their speeds matched thanks to the Jade Void Wings and all 340,000 flame veins.

While there was a gap in strength between him and the golden dragon, he compensated for that, too, using the blood seals. However, Kent noticed he couldn’t harness the power of all 250,000.

At most, he was able to harness 105,000, which, if he looked critically at it, meant the new blood seals he had formed couldn’t be used. So while he couldn’t say they were matched in strength, he was able to match it in some way.

If he had the means to harness all 250,000, perhaps he would have been stronger.

However, despite all that downside, everything had started to change now that he had begun using all of his abilities.

Of course, he had already begun recalling most of his memories, but he couldn’t use all of them. In fact, aside from Chaos, Jest, and Faceless, the rest weren’t ones he could use just yet.

His life as Kevin Sage wouldn’t help him in this danger, and the same went for his life as the Ruthless Bandit.

As for the Divine Beast Tamer, that life was what Kent was counting on to win this. He might not have as many memories of that life as the other three. However, what he knew in that life was precisely why he thought he could use it to win.

’But how can I keep this monster away from me for at least five seconds?’

Kent’s mind spun, all kinds of thoughts moving through his head, looking for a way to keep the golden dragon grounded for at least five seconds.

If he could keep it locked down for just that long, then winning was guaranteed.

A stabbing attack from the dragon’s tail pierced him through the chest, but Kent wasn’t even scratched. Instead, he moved and appeared over its colossal body. But before he could attack, the golden dragon retaliated, unleashing a breath attack.

Chaos Scales rearranged themselves, creating a shield that blocked the flame-breath attack.

He retreated and allowed the moment to pass, since landing an attack wouldn’t be possible. Yet again, he was attacked by the tail, but like before, he became a shadow.

In fact, he had trained his body to detect the attack and become a shadow, just to render it null. Thankfully, the dragon was just too monstrous, so he had all the motivation to master that.

Suddenly, the dragon came down on him with a claw attack.

However, Kent responded by forming the [Chaos Scale Shield] to block it. Its claws landed on the shield, and it trembled. However, it held, and for a moment, Kent felt something strange.

He may not have felt it before; however, just now, when the claw attack landed on the shield, he sensed deep within his soul a part of his blood sea surge, causing the chaos shield to bend slightly.

’Don’t tell me,’

His eyes widened.

’Oh, this is something,’

He wanted to laugh, but stopped himself.

Instead, he tapped into the sensation he felt, and lo and behold, he saw where the change came from.

A while back, he awakened two bloodline innate skills, one of them being the [Blood Calamity Fist]. It basically had to do with harnessing blood to form a large, overpowered fist that, when unleashed, not even a dragon can handle.

He had mastered it to the perfection stage but never used it. He suspected that without the blood runes augmentation, he wouldn’t be able to bring out its true power.

Today, he sensed it calling, and when he answered, what he saw was a bit joyful.

’Oh, so I can use it like that, huh?’

He smiled and distanced himself from the golden dragon.

On the ground, a black stone moved and stopped at a strategic position, one that made the Master of Purgatory frown. He tried to place a white piece, but he saw his move would yield no defence at all.

"Oh, nicely played, Master of Chaos."

In the air, just when Kent distanced himself, he formed a hand seal, and all 105,000 blood runes were activated. Then he waved his hand, manifesting over 800,000 pentagon-shaped chaos scales.

The moment they appeared, he tapped into his nature as Lord Genesis and used his hand to move them all, covering the entire body of the golden dragon. In an instant, its colour changed to crimson gold.

But that wasn’t all.

Tapping into the blood using knowledge from the [Blood Calamity Fist], he unleashed all his 105,000 blood runes and used them to form a complex lock, making sure every last chaos scale remained locked in place.

Just when that was done, his right hand moved, and the [Spirit Brush] appeared in it.

’One,’ he started to count.

’Two.’

His hand moved, and a rune started to manifest in the air. In that instant, too, blood started to drain from his face.

However, he held on strong.

’Three.’

’Four.’

Just when he reached the fourth second, a part of the shield cracked. This made him push harder, and just when the dragon’s tail burst out, a brilliant light exploded in the air, causing everyone watching to shield their eyes.

"And that is checkmate, Master of Purgatory." Kent muttered
