Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1553: Forming the First Chaos Heart (9)

Chapter 1553: Forming the First Chaos Heart (9)

Kent’s claw scraped across the surface of the golden dragon’s scales, letting out a metallic sound. Seeing he can’t hurt it, he distanced himself.

However, just when he was about to move several steps back, a whip lashed across his back, a painful sensation seeping into his body.

’This is so embarrashing...’

He endured the pain and moved his body mid-air, arranging his wings to form a razor-sharp weapon. He flew up and dove down at a terrifying speed.

Using the momentum of his descent, he landed a terrifying slash across the side of the golden dragon.

This time, his attack connected, leaving a cut mark on its body. Kent flew back and unleashed a breath attack before moving further back to catch his breath.

His body was streaked with several cuts, blood dripping from them.

He had tried very hard to maintain his flow, but with every new plan he cooked up, the golden dragon seemed to have a counter. Naturally, the game of chess between him and the Master of Purgatory wasn’t going well for him.

In the past, he seemed to have held his own against him even from the start. However, the game was now being played between him and two terrifying entities. The fact that he still remains in the game is a miracle in itself.

Paragon was an existence even the Master of Purgatory had no idea just how deep he went.

So while he may have had it easy in the past, this time around, he was fighting a battle that even he had no idea just how deep it went.

’Is this how terrifying an absolute is?’ Kent thought, his mind wandering to just how terrifying he really would become if he were to reach such a stage.

His thought was interrupted when the golden dragon moved and was upon him the next moment. He also moved, and the deadly struggle continued.

As the battle raged on, Kent couldn’t help but start to pick up on some subtle hints that if he were to capture a few more, he would be able to have some success in the offensive.

He knew for a fact there would be no opening he could exploit, so his focus was rather turned to finding patterns he could exploit. As it happened, in his mind were 1.6 million possible moves an opponent could make.

While his brain isn’t strong enough just yet to be able to detect and create a counter against an opponent like the golden dragon, he knew if he could find a pattern, winning wouldn’t be too far from sight.

The problem, however, was that he had to stay alive to comprehend those patterns.

"Ah, the journey to the peak this time is a bit more harrowing than the last time."

Kent evaded a tail attack, and then he unleashed a breath attack before jumping into the chaos, his body going into a deadly spin. This move, however, allowed him to turn the jade void wings into sharp weapons.

Metallic sounds filled the air as the golden dragon was pushed back. It tried to push back, even attacking with its whip-like tail, but Kent pressed on, spinning faster.

Suddenly, just when he managed to cut into the side of the golden dragon, Kent sensed his body become sluggish.

On the ground, the Master of Purgatory smiled. "Your move now, Master of Chaos."

Up in the air, Kent grew heavy, his spinning suddenly dull.

"What is happening?"

[It appears the master was struck with a paralytic debuff skill. Right now, the master has suffered a 30% debuff to all attributes.]

"Oh, that is some dirty—" He was sent crashing down, his body digging a deep crater into the ground before he could finish his sentence.

Kent rose back up, and before the golden dragon could close in on him, he vanished from where he stood and appeared in the air.

"This is crazy. I have lived many lives, yet a mere dragon is trashing me like I am some kind of—"

"Wait a minute. I have lived more than one life. Meaning I have more than one set of experiences. Meaning I can use any form of skill and technique."

Kent felt like he had neglected a critical aspect of his existence.

He is a true reincarnator, meaning he has lived many lives and remembers them all. Since that is the case, why not fight with all parts of him? Being the Chaos Dragon is just a part of him. He had lived 13 lives, and so he cannot sum up his entire existence based on just one life.

’I was Chaos, the primordial Chaos Dragon.’

’I was Jest, the Sword Genesis.’

’I was Jaqen, the faceless assassin.’

’I was Kevin Sage, the smartest man to ever live.’

’I was Lex Morvane, the Ruthless Bandit.’

’I was Aurelion, the Divine Beast Tamer.’

Back on the ground, the Master of Purgatory smiled, watching as six black stones moved and stopped at strategic positions.

"Ah, looks like he has figured it out."

He looked up and smiled. "But how much can you use, Master of Chaos? How close can you come to defeating a perfect version of yourself?"

Suddenly, on the ground, thousands of shadows moved and flew toward Kent. They surrounded him, completely shielding him from everyone. The golden dragon sensed something was up, so it moved, closing the gap between them.

Just when it was close enough to attack, the shadows moved, and a black-clothed Kent appeared, a scythe fashioned from darkness going for a deadly swing.

His scythe met the deadly whip-like tail of the dragon. Just when that happened, some shadows moved and closed in on the dragon. Kent smiled and dissolved into the shadows, appearing overhead of the dragon, his scythe held in both hands, going for an overhead slash.

His attack never connected, but it appeared he expected that. Just when his weapon was mere inches away from digging itself into the dragon, the deadly tail appeared and stabbed him from behind.

However, instead of blood coming out, a mist of smoky shadow appeared, causing the Master of Purgatory to smile.

Kent dissolved into shadows again, but instead of going for another attack in person, he appeared 300 meters away and gestured forward.

His soul universe surged, and thousands of spears appeared, raining down on the poor dragon.

He moved again, leaving a trail of shadows in his wake. When he appeared before the dragon, the scene around him started to transform.

Standing several kilometers away, Inaya smiled. "Here we go."

Up in the air, a sea of swords surged, creating a raging tide of power, the kind that caused even the Master of Purgatory to furrow his brow.

’Well, that is new.’

He had seen the Genesis Sword Realm before, but this time, he seemed to have sensed something new about it. Naturally, it was because Kent had attained True Sword Energy this time around.

The Genesis Sword Realm roared to life, and the sea of swords formed, taking on the appearance of a dragon. Kent gestured forward, and the dragon moved, clashing with the golden dragon.

Kent felt like he could do more, and so he did. He transformed into his humanoid form and extended his hand, summoning an ordinary sword.

He pointed it forward and tapped into his memories of Lord Genesis. Suddenly, the clouds, already infected by the tribulation churn and red lightning, began to form.

Suddenly, a powerful red lightning bolt descended and landed on the sword. Kent smiled and raised it up, using both hands to hold it.

"Heaven & Earth Cleaver."

RUMBLE...
