Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1685: Pill Judgement (1)

Chapter 1685: Pill Judgement (1)

"We greet the Pill Dao Arbiter,"

Everyone went down on their knees to greet Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime. This included Pill Immortal Flura and Kent.

Kent did it because it was the right thing to do toward a senior who had set him on the path to a future he had grown to love.

In his past life as Kevin Sage, he did only one thing as a teenager: run cons with his father, one of the best con artists to ever live. He was good at it because he was quick to learn and had a robust mind, one that was far more advanced than most people.

Long before he reached the age of sixteen and began cultivating, he possessed brainpower that rivalled even that of True Immortals.

So he was not only a good con artist but also a brilliant child. However, when his father died, and grief overwhelmed him, it was Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime who picked him back up and set him on the right path.

He taught him everything he knew until Kevin Sage surpassed him, becoming one of the greatest alchemists and the most intelligent man to ever live.

So, putting his status as the Primordial Chaos Dragon aside, he went down on his knees and bowed to his master, Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime.

"Get up, everyone. I am happy to be here, meeting all of you together and witnessing such a monumental moment in alchemical history," he laughed, making others feel proud that they had come to witness this moment.

Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime turned and looked at Pill Immortal Flura.

"What is your name, young lady?"

"Pill Immortal Flura."

"Wonderful. You have done well, young lady. You have impressed the Pill Dao, so you will be rewarded. However, before that, you have to prove to the Pill Dao that you have what it takes to become a Pill God."

"Pill God... But I am..." Pill Immortal Flura frowned.

"No need to be confused, young lady. I pleaded on your behalf for a direct ascension, so this tribulation will both judge your pill and act as your ascension ceremony. Unfortunately for you, passing the tribulation is not something you can do alone. But fear not, I have a solution for you."

Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime smiled and continued,

"A very long time ago, a Pill God who was crazy enough to challenge the Pill Dao accidentally invoked its wrath instead.

As we all know, the Dao is neutral and does not take sides. However, what if I told you that Daos have favourites, and standing here before you, I am one of them?"

Many furrowed their brows upon hearing what Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime said. They had never expected there to be favourites of the Daos. But hearing it from someone like the Pill Dao Arbiter made them believe.

"I am a favourite because I have been recognised by the Pill Dao, and so have others whose names have been engraved upon the Pill Dao Tablet.

So when this Pill God invoked the wrath of the Pill Dao, he knew he was at death’s door if he did not act. Fortunately, this Pill God was also extremely intelligent, and so he tapped into the ancient records and invoked a rule that allowed him to call upon a secondary.

A secondary is someone who would stand beside you and face the tribulation with you. If they succeed, they will share the blessing with you.

Right now, the tribulation coming is not one you can face on your own, so you must pick a secondary. They must be an alchemist and below the rank of a God. That means Demigods and below."

"Pill Immortal Flura, pick me."

"Please pick me. I can help you."

"Pick me, please. I want to help you for free."

Many started offering their help in every shameless way possible.

They knew the rewards outweighed the danger, and so they were willing to bet their lives on it. If they were picked, it would either be their fortune or their misfortune.

Pill Immortal Flura found herself at a crossroads, unsure of what to do. Unfortunately for her, the tribulation cloud was only three minutes away.

If she had the option to pick just anyone, she would have gone for Ursa, the phoenix that Kent had given to her 370,000 plus years ago to act as her guard.

But that option had been taken from her since Ursa was not an alchemist.

This, of course, left her at a crossroads. However, just before panic could set in, a confident voice entered her ears, causing her to turn to her left.

"I will do it."

Unlike the others who remained in the stands, shouting their willingness to serve as her secondary, this man stepped toward her with a calm expression.

When his gaze met hers, Flura felt a sense of familiarity, but because of his appearance, she couldn’t quite place where she had sensed such a presence before.

However, she knew this version of Kent, having witnessed him duel a Pill Legend three weeks ago, and even gave Ursa an invitation to today’s event.

Now, this same man who had managed to pique her interest in the path of alchemy stood on the same platform as her, willing to become her secondary.

All around them, many who wished to become secondaries started hurling insults at Kent, who, in their eyes, was merely an Immortal King, while most of them were Immortal Lords and Demigods.

But Kent ignored everyone and looked at Flura.

"I can help you, if only you want me to. Though I must warn you, aside from me, nobody else here can help you."

His words silenced everyone for a moment.

Then, insult upon insult started raining down on him.

Even Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime couldn’t help but raise a brow at Kent’s clear arrogance.

For a moment, the image of a troublemaker he once called his disciple appeared in his mind, causing him to smile.

’Although he is not him, this kid sure has the nerve to say such bold words.’

He smiled faintly and looked at Pill Immortal Flura to see what she had to say.

Knowing that time was running out, Pill Immortal Flura sighed and asked one important question.

"What makes you think you can help me? You have to understand that this is my passion project, and I would willingly die rather than let just anyone interfere with it."

Kent smiled and flicked his hair back.

"The reason is simple. In the vast universe out there, there is no one under the heavens and beyond who is better than I, Kent Madson."

As he said that, his hair colour changed, and soon, his appearance reverted to that of the handsome dragon everyone had heard so much about.

Flura’s eyes widened, and in the stands, Veth’s eyes widened as well.

All around, everyone who had heard of the latest alchemist to appear on the Pill Dao Tablet sucked in a cold breath, their expressions revealing the shock in their hearts.

The idea that the Mad Alchemist who had shaken this part of the Eastern Region over the past few weeks was actually Kent Madson—the Kent Madson was just mind-blowing.

Kent smiled at Flura’s expression.

"Long time no see, Flura. Looks like you’ve made a life for yourself here."

Flura stood there for a few seconds before jumping into Kent’s arms, earning waves of shock, gasps, and confusion.

Even Pill Celestial Zathoriel Prime was confused by what he was witnessing.
