Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1750: End Of the Auction

Chapter 1750: End Of the Auction

"So why did you kill her?" Veth asked the moment Kent returned to the VIP room.

"She is a member of my old enemies," Kent replied, taking a seat.

"During the Primordial Era, when I was waging war against the Forsaken Race, I discovered that the Forsaken Race didn’t appear on their own.

Somebody or some group of people brought them to this universe with the intention of using them to dominate and rule everything.

Later, when I researched further, I discovered that this group of people all came from an organization called the Arcane Order. Upon further investigation, I discovered they were beings who had surpassed the 100th layer during their god ascension and glimpsed the Dao.

At first, I held back my assault on them since I had no concrete justification to attack them. However, it soon became clear to me that they were far worse than I had thought.

After they failed with the Forsaken Race, they contacted the Void Race and even helped some of them cross over. That led me to abandon my assault on the Forsaken Race and focus on them instead.

I tried to rid the universe of them, but I guess here I am, still facing a much more evolved and bolder version of them. I have to purge them before they infest this universe on a much larger scale."

Vexthra sighed and smiled a little. "I am afraid you may be late on this one."

She looked at Kent critically and added, "The Primal Temple is one of the grandest organizations in the universe now. They have control over the God Realm, the Supreme Realm, and even the Celestial Realm."

"Hmmm," Kent hummed, his expression becoming even colder.

"You know, it took me a great deal of time to find out the true purpose behind their mission and vision. When I did, I was shaken to the core. However, even after spending years fighting them, I still failed. Now, it appears they have become much bigger."

He clenched his fist and sighed. "I have to become stronger."

His wives, knowing that all they could do at the moment was stand beside him, hugged him from all sides, making sure he felt their love.

Kent appreciated their kind gesture and allowed himself to calm down a bit.

However, his mind continued to consider the possibility that the events leading up to this auction weren’t a coincidence but an encounter arranged by fate.

Everything that had happened from the start of the auction to the end had been arranged. The minerals he had won would be used to upgrade the Lost Knights, who had actually fallen at the hands of the Arcane Order.

That battle had been a terrible one, and Kent, who knew how hard the Fourteen Lost Knights had fought, could tell from the very beginning that this auction had been arranged to make him aware of his past enemies and what must be done to rid this universe of their evil intent.

’The danger surrounding this universe now is just too great. I’d better start making moves to deal with some of it before it overwhelms me.’

He didn’t know what would happen next, but he could tell that he would soon have to go above and beyond just to keep his promise to all those who had lost their lives fighting in the Great War and every other war that had plagued the universe.

A few minutes later, Lady Wu’s voice spread throughout the auction hall, causing everyone who had been talking to fall silent.

"It appears this year’s auction has ended with a bang." A smile formed on her face, knowing that this event would spread far and wide and that the Brown Maple Auction House’s name would accompany it.

"While it didn’t end on the lightest note, I hope and trust that we all enjoyed ourselves, and I believe that 10,000 years from today, we will meet again for another mega auction event."

Everyone nodded.

"Then, on that note, I declare the end of this year’s Brown Maple Mega Auction. Thank you all for coming. Those who have bids to clear are invited to proceed to the various procurement sections to make their payments and collect their items."

The auction finally came to an end, and everyone started to leave.

"Ladies, time to head back," Kent said, and his wives nodded.

While they would have loved to stay by his side a little longer, they now understood that, with the auction over, they had to return to what they had been doing before coming to the auction with him.

They shared a round of kisses before leaving. Afterward, Kent, Veth, and Flura left their room and headed to the place where they would pay for the items they had won during the auction.

Meanwhile, inside VIP Room 79, the fatty, who had already paid for everything, stood up, still munching on some snacks, and lazily walked out of the room, followed by the slave girl.

The moment they stepped out of the room, a shadow moved and merged with the slave girl’s shadow. Kent didn’t know how many life-saving treasures the fatty possessed, so he instructed his shadow fiend to slip into the slave girl’s shadow instead.

Since they would be traveling together, it didn’t matter whose shadow had been infiltrated.

After walking for a few minutes, they arrived at a section of the auction house where a sleek-looking ship, built like a carriage house, was waiting.

This wasn’t a normal ship. It was connected to hundreds of universe channels, each of which this fatty was the owner and manager.

They boarded the ship, which looked much smaller from the outside but was as vast as a mansion on the inside. It even had a garden, along with chefs, maids, and guards working around the clock.

The fatty walked into a large dining hall where a lavish feast awaited him on a massive table, with maids standing by to replace his plates and refill his drink. Meanwhile, the slave girl walked into another building, entered a room, and let out a deep sigh.

After entering, she sat down and took another deep breath. She then began replaying the scenes from the auction in her mind.

After a while, she murmured a name.

"Kent Madson, huh?"

The image of Kent killing the Primal God flashed through her mind. However, as quickly as it appeared, it vanished. She knew that entertaining any thoughts concerning her master was nothing more than wishful thinking.

So she sighed and decided to focus on their next destination.

Then again, if she had paid closer attention to her shadow, she would have noticed another shadow slipping out of it and gliding silently across the vast mansion before passing through a window and making its way into the dining hall.

Meanwhile, outside, the ship slowly rose into the air. Before long, it disappeared into a universe channel and began traveling at a terrifying speed.

Nobody aboard the ship realized they had been infiltrated. Well, none of them expected a shadow fiend to exist in the universe when, according to everything they knew, all shadow fiends had long ago been sealed within the Shadow Realm.

Meanwhile, outside, Kent, Veth, and Flura were led straight to Lady Wu’s office, where she had been pacing back and forth before they arrived.

"Kent!"

She beam with joy and practically jumped into his arms the moment she saw him enter the room.
