Chapter 1779: Third Awakening & Formations (2)

RUMBLE

The entire soul sea shook, and Kent, who was seated in a lotus posture, snapped his eyes open and gazing up at the blood-red sky, where billions, perhaps trillions, of blood runes snaked about.

The blood sea surged, and the space around the Blood Platform seemed to become unstable.

However, despite all that had happened, more blood runes were still being devoured by the Blood Platform, and more blood essence also kept entering his soul sea from the outside.

Seated on the sofa, Fiannarel, who had been standing guard for nine months already, smiled as she sensed the change around Kent.

’He is getting closer to the awakening,’ she said inwardly and continued to remain vigilant despite knowing no harm would come from anywhere.

Even so, because of how overprotected she had been in the past, she chose to remain the same for him this time around, too.

A few hours later, a powerful explosion of blood aura emanated from Kent’s body, and the entire city was filled with an overwhelming amount of blood qi, the kind a Demigod wasn’t expected to possess.

This alarmed many, but the person causing it remained seated on the cultivation mat, while now, he was hovering midair within his soul sea, watching as a red-and-black gate slowly rose from the ground.

The first Blood Gate was red and green, while the second was red and brown. As the third rose up, waves of blood qi started to pour out of it even more, filling his entire soul sea with the power of blood.

On the outside too, the blood qi continued to spread, becoming denser as the minutes passed.

A couple of days passed, and the process hadn’t ended. Meanwhile, the third Blood Gate had already risen to a staggering 140,000 km tall. However, compared to the 350,000 km height of the first and second Blood Gates, it still had quite a bit more to rise.

Thankfully, about a week later, it was done with the awakening...

"> <Congratulations, you have awakened the third Blood Gate>

"> <You can now form the third Blood Core and any other cores>

Kent smiled, then started forming the Blood Core right away. He knew he had no time to spare, so he got right to it.

Thankfully, he still had more than enough blood essence to use.

Time soon passed, and before long, the core started to take shape, coming together steadily. He remained busy, absorbing more blood essence.

About a year later, bringing the total to roughly 15 years of the 50-year period, the third Blood Core formed, and, like a madman, he started saturating it, using the opportunity to raise his cultivation from the Low-Level Demigod stage to the Peak Demigod stage.

After five months, Kent had reached the Peak Demigod stage, and his Blood Core had finally formed.

He considered refining his blood further to raise his bloodline awakening from 40% to at least 45%, but he knew it would take time, so he put that on hold and turned to the next set of items.

He opened his eyes only to meet the stunned gaze of Fiannarel, who was now crouching before him...

"Uhm, big sister, why do I feel like you want to cut me open and experiment on me?" Kent asked with a smile.

"Because I want to cut you open and experiment on you. Just what kind of monster are you? This aura isn’t something a Demigod should have. Even Celestials don’t have this kind of aura."

Kent laughed and replied, "If you are impressed by what you have seen, then wait until you meet the Paragon."

Fiannarel’s eyes widened. "Huh, you know the Paragon?"

Kent laughed and replied with a smug expression, "He is my sworn brother. Although he thinks he is good-looking, we both know he is merely exaggerating."

Fiannarel looked long and hard at Kent and sighed. "You know, the person most of the Chaos Ancestors have been looking for is the Paragon. They claim that a very long time ago, he met the Chaos Ascension King, so if they want to find his whereabouts, they need to first find the Paragon."

"Good luck to them, I suppose. In any case, I will be forming my third Chaos Heart and other cores, so see you in the next couple of years."

Fiannarel could only watch Kent slip back into cultivation, leaving her wondering just what kind of existence her brother was. It was as if, at every turn, he had something shocking to reveal.

Revealing that he knew the Paragon was supposed to be funny in a way. But Fiannarel knew he wasn’t lying. It was one of the things she liked about her baby brother: he didn’t lie, at least not to her.

So she knew he indeed knew the Paragon. The only parts that seemed like lies to her were the sworn brother part and the "who is good-looking" part.

At least she could tell Kent believed what he had said, so she could only wonder just how good-looking the Paragon was.

She took a deep breath and started to wait again.

Seven months into the wait, Kent formed the third Chaos Heart and moved on to the third Flame Core. That also took seven months, then he quickly moved on to the Evil Core, which took a year and a half.

The other cores soon followed, with the Ice Core taking eight months and the Lightning Core taking nine months. Afterward, he spent a few more months saturating them all.

When that was done, he moved on to cultivating the third Demon Body, knowing that it would take a few more years. Surprisingly, when he began, he soon saw the process wasn’t as hard as before.

This brought a smile to his face.

So he continued to cultivate for months.

Exactly twenty years after he started cultivating in the Red Bone Chaos Tribe, Kent had successfully formed the third of everything.

The third Blood Gate had awakened, and all three forms of the Blood Core, Chaos Heart, Flame Core, Evil Core, Ice Core, and Lightning Core had formed.

Aside from them, the third Demon Body of the Nine Demon Body Tempering Art had also been fully cultivated, raising his strength past that of someone below the True Celestial stage.

To make matters even more exciting, just when he was done cultivating the third Demon Body, the tower entered an upgrade mode.

Kent had no idea what had triggered it, since the tower had already informed him that until she merged back with her other part in the Infinity Universe, she could not upgrade to Tier 2.

Now, she had entered an upgrade mode, and Kent could only wait to see what she would become after she ascended to Tier 2. Maybe he could re-enter the tower or contact his wives. Regardless, he can only wait.

In the meantime, Kent opened his eyes and started chatting with his sister while he waited for the tower to be done.

He knew she would not leave his side for as long as she had nothing to do. Since he had a lot to say and she seemed like a good conversation partner, they kept talking for weeks.

Unfortunately, two months into their chat, Kent was forced to return to work because the tower was about to awaken, and he wanted to witness everything.
