Chapter 1782: Overpowered Techniques (3)

[A/N: Sorry, guys, I never expected the missing pieces I’ve been searching for to finally take Kent from a mere Chaos Dragon to a True Chaos Dragon to be here in the Chaos Chasm.

This training arc is fun to write, because I can finally handle all the cultvating arts Kent need to keep advancing. We won’t have to spend more Chapters in the future worrying about cultivation Arts and other core evolution.

However, I promise that when he returns to the Infinity Universe, he will spend time with his wives, both those present and those he has yet to reunite with. Also, expect a series of family reunions. Writing a long-ass novel isn’t as easy as I thought.]

"> <Congratulations, you have successfully cultivated the Undying Obsidian Body>

"> <Your Three Demon Bodies have undergone evolution>

"> <Congratulations, your Three Demon Bodies are now Three Undying Demon Bodies>

"> <Congratulations, you have unlocked Flawless Tempering>

"> <You can now move ahead and cultivate the Void Vein Chaos Scripture>

Many messages followed, telling Kent what he had achieved and how much impact it had on him. The power surging through his body now was just too much for him to understand or put into words.

All he knew was that he had become more powerful than he was five years ago, and it was all because he had fully cultivated the Undying Obsidian Body.

He was supposed to cultivate it to only 25%. However, things took a dark turn, and before he knew it, he had fully cultivated it.

"Still, I can sense that I am not done with the first form of the Obsidian Chaos Dragon Physique," Kent said, and Tower replied to him...

"> <That is true. You seem to have triggered the peak of the first form of this technique. So after this first achievement, you need to achieve the Undying Golden Body and finally, the Undying Immortal Body.>

"Undying Immortal Body. I have heard about it before."

Kent thought about it for a few minutes, trying to recall where he had heard it. After a few minutes, his mind went to a conversation he had with Leviathan during the Primordial Era.

"According to Leviathan, hidden somewhere in the Primordial Chaos is a technique that, when fully comprehended, allows the body to remain alive even if the soul dies. He wanted to go get it and even wanted me to join him on that campaign.

Had it not been for the Void Beast invasion, I would have joined his mission. To think such a terrifying technique is merely the first form of the Obsidian Chaos Dragon Physique."

Kent could only smile slightly and wish he could cultivate it right now.

"Tower, how long would it take to cultivate the Undying Immortal Body?"

<It would take the master between 10 and 100 years to achieve the Undying Golden Body and between 100 and 1,000 years to achieve the Undying Immortal Body.

"> However, the duration may shorten once the master has cultivated the other techniques. After all, the stronger you become, the faster you will make progress with the other cultivation techniques. The next is the Void Vein Chaos Scripture, and the master is required to form at least two Void Veins.>

"Form? I thought they were already there and I could connect to them."

"> <That is true, but unless the master wants to be limited by how large and powerful the Void Veins are, the master is advised to form his own and later improve them.>

"I see. Then what are we waiting for?"

***

Kent dove back in, and this time, he appeared inside the void, surrounded by thousands of wolf-type Void Beasts. The moment he sensed them, they also sensed him and attacked.

"What the hell?"

"> <This is the Infinity Void Expanse, where each kill adds to the formation of the Void Vein. You must kill and keep killing until you form two Void Veins.>

Kent’s hand moved, and Gaap appeared in his firm grip. Then, as if he had been possessed, a wave of anger buried deep within him since the Primordial Era ignited, and his aura flared.

At once, he went from being just Kent to a terrifying Demi-Dragon driven by vengeance. He began cutting through the thousands of wolves, each a terrifying powerhouse filled with refined Void Essence.

The more he attacked, the more it felt like his understanding of the void was improving.

Naturally, on the outside, the moment Void Essence started to flow around Kent, Borislav smiled. "So he decided to cultivate the Void Vein Chaos Scripture next, huh?"

The others sensed it, and knowing what he had achieved with the first technique, they all became excited and ready to witness another milestone. They wanted to witness something incredible.

And Kent delivered.

The first sign appeared six months into his cultivation when, all of a sudden, Kent’s body started releasing so much Void Qi, which caused everyone to retreat.

Initially, everyone thought he had connected to the first Void Vein since that was the objective. However, Borislav, the expert on all things void, sensed something different.

However, he kept quiet and waited a few more months to confirm his suspicions. Four months later, he finally burst into resounding laughter and shouted...

"Brilliant, this kid is brilliant. Not only has he formed his own Void Vein, but instead of forming it outside his body, he formed it inside his body."

This time, even Fiannarel’s eyes widened. "You can’t be serious, right? Forming a Void Vein inside the body is a suicide move. Surely, you must be mistaken."

"But I am not, my dear. This kid has indeed formed it within himself. Somehow, he figured out a way to form a Void Core and, using it as a medium, attached a Void Vein to it." Borislav laughed again, and Veylan Seren joined him.

"But it has only been ten months since he started cultivating the Void Vein Chaos Scripture. How could he form a Void Core and a Void Vein within such a short period of time?" Parand asked, utterly shocked.

"Beats me," Borislav replied.

"All I know is that when I cultivated the first form of the Void Vein Chaos Scripture, I had to climb a mountain where the higher you climbed, the more Void Essence you could absorb. Maybe he got the same trial, but he is much faster than I was.

Or maybe he got something else entirely, and that’s what we are seeing now. Maybe he even..."Borislav stopped himself...

Zdzislav, whose perception was on another level, kept a close eye on Kent, not blinking even for a moment. He had been doing so for weeks, looking to see something extraordinary, and just now, he finally blinked and said...

"I don’t know what he is doing, but I am 90% sure it involves fighting and slaughter."

"Why do you say that?" Fiannarel asked, worried and happy at the same time.

"Because for the past ten months, while you all were focused on the Void Energy around him, I have been paying attention to his Sword Energy and Killing Intent.

At the start of his cultivation, he had a calm, almost concealed Killing Intent, but it soon spiked to a much higher level and has been climbing ever since, becoming more refined and sharper.

The only way that would happen is if he had invoked a trial that involved fighting."

Everyone turned to Borislav, who had a look of pale shock on his face. "But that can’t be right. He isn’t the Chaos Ascension King, right?"

"Why is that...?" Namarie asked, her flowery green hair falling to the side of her face.

"If what Zdzislav said is true, then I think he has invoked the trial called the Infinity Void Expanse."

"No way."

The Eternals exclaimed, everyone shifting their gaze back to Kent, who now had even more Void Essence surrounding him.

It appeared he was making more headway with this technique than with the first one.
