Chapter 1788: Overpowered Techniques (9)

Kent slowly opened his eyes, his Chaos Aura now filled with Abyssal Qi, the kind that had prevented Sanders, the Bone Lich Undead Emperor, from saving his parents from the Abyssal Chaos many years ago.

Now, in less than a year, Kent had comprehended it and even merged it with his Chaos Heart, allowing him to harness the most potent form of his Chaos Qi—Abyssal Chaos Qi.

With all three cores each undergoing Seven Star Cycle Evolutions, he could now be considered done with the first form of the Primordial Abyss Chaos Heart Art, and he could move on to the next one.

But before that, Kent first tested something...

He opened his palm and summoned Gaap. Then, tapping into his first Chaos Heart, he summoned 5% of the Abyssal Chaos Qi and laced it around the sword. Then, tapping into his Extreme Sword Energy, he imbued the sword with 5% of it and stood up.

He walked a few kilometers and stopped before a mountain. After making sure the mountain was empty, he casually swung the sword at it, and a thin line of Abyssal Chaos infused with both Sword Intent and Sword Aura flashed out and disappeared.

The next second, the mountain was severed diagonally in half, one part sliding off. But that wasn’t what Kent was aiming at.

His gaze followed the clouds that had parted, revealing the dark expanse of space. Several hundred thousand kilometers away, an asteroid large enough to decimate an entire city was severed in half.

Kent lowered his sword and smiled. "I suppose if I don’t want to kill anyone at the sword competition, I have to find a way to limit myself."

"> <The master used Abyssal Chaos alongside his Sword Energy. Perhaps just the Sword Energy would do.>

Kent smiled and unsummoned Gaap, causing it to return to his Soul Sea before replying to Tower...

’That may be true in some way, considering I will be fighting sword geniuses. However, do you seriously think they can handle 5% of my Sword Energy if they are below the Sword God Stage?’

He shook his head, then teleported back to the space where he had been cultivating and sat in a lotus posture.

’I think we should start making plans to go on the offensive when I return. I think attacking the other races that once attacked the universe would help me understand my current capabilities.’

"> <I understand, Master. I believe when I merge back with the other part in the Infinity Universe, we will finally be able to come to terms with what the Black Dungeon is and how to conquer it.>

’Very well. For now, let’s handle the 6th technique.’

Kent sighed and jumped into the next technique, the Heaven Splitting Chaos Wings...

This time, he appeared on a glassy path leading to a temple, or maybe a castle, or just an ordinary building built from obsidian jade. The structure stood tall and imposing, almost as if it were home to dread.

Looking at the thick walls, Kent couldn’t help but wonder if this building and the Blood Temple of the Soul Temple shared some similarities.

’Quite ironic how the word "temple" seems to be in almost everything vile and dangerous around me,’ he smiled, and then he pushed the fleeting thought to the back of his mind.

The last thing he wanted was to make the same mistake he had made in the past when he chose to spare the life of the Blood Ancestor.

The last time they met before Jest went into the final battle against the Foreign Race, he had possessed the power to kill him.

However, for reasons he couldn’t help but scoff at at the moment, Kent just knew he had made a mistake, or maybe he hadn’t.

Regardless, he was here now, so he could only focus on what lay ahead.

His footsteps echoed across the glassy floor, soon reaching the giant gate leading into the building. The gates were already open, so when he stood before them, he could see the inside of the building.

Kent stopped in his tracks and lifted his head, staring at what could be considered the most wondrous sight.

A stone tablet, towering and beautiful, stood at the center of the building, engraved with ancient runes. At a glance, he counted only 100 runes, but each rune held so much meaning that his mind nearly collapsed trying to comprehend them all at once.

’That was dangerous...’ Kent said inwardly and winced. Then he looked up, beyond the tablet.

His gaze fell on a beautiful metallic wing, its features made of piercing metal, each feather holding so much power that his mind scrambled under the sheer amount of information he was receiving just by staring at it.

It was red and black, and, more importantly, it came in seven pairs, each pair longer and more imposing than the last.

The moment Kent beheld the name written beneath these seven pairs of wings, his body on the outside trembled, and the Jade Void Wing appeared.

"Here hangs the complete form of the Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wing."

Kent’s consciousness, standing at the building’s entrance, was soon lifted into the air by an invincible force, drawing him closer to the wings. When he was only two meters away, his blood essence was extracted, and it merged with the wing...

On the outside, the Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wing manifested behind him, the space around him shaking as void cracks started to snake around him, almost as if reality was struggling to contain the power of the wing.

Parand stood up, her expression filled with delight as she gazed at the awakening of the Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wing.

For three full hours, the awakening continued. Finally, when it settled, thin red runes started to emerge from the Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wing and spread outward from Kent...

It took Parand ten full minutes to understand what was happening. After all, she had never expected to meet someone who commanded the Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wing.

In her billions of years of existence, she had read many records, but the records of the wings said to be able to harness the power of the Void Chaos had never explained how they could do that.

They only stated that as one comprehended the Void, so too would they be able to move. The more they understood about the Void, the faster they could move using the Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wing...

"I believe he is comprehending the Void and building his Void Storm Domain," Parand said with a delighted expression.

Right now, the red runes seemed to have started to spread far and wide, already covering a radius of over one kilometer...

"A little context, Parand," Zdzislav asked, and Parand, who was overcome with joy, smiled and added,

"The Void Storm Domain is basically the speed range of the wings. Take, for example, my Flame Storm Domain. It covers 10,000,000 light-years. This means that at any moment, I can move and appear anywhere within those 10,000,000 light-years.

I achieved that by comprehending the Six Wing Laws—well, I have completed only four, but you get the gist."

"So how vast was your Flame Storm Domain when you comprehended the first Wing Law?" Fiannarel asked.

"I was only a Supreme then, but it was 10,000 light-years." She looked at Kent, whose Void Storm Domain had already reached ten kilometers in radius in less than ten minutes...

"I wonder how vast his domain will be after comprehending the Law of Ascension of the Void Storm."
