Chapter 1790: Chaos Ascension King Trial
Chapter 1790: Chaos Ascension King Trial
[50 Years Later]
Kent slowly opened his eyes, his body releasing waves of Chaos Qi so intense that he seemed to bend the space around him with a mere touch.
It had been 50 years since he began cultivating in the Red Bone Chaos Tribe.
Within the first 30 years, during which he cultivated the seven cultivation arts given to him by the seven tribe leaders, he had accomplished so much. However, he went on to do more during the remaining 20 years.
First, he decided to handle his cores. After performing the 21 Star Cycle Evolution on his three Chaos Hearts, Kent decided to try something mad. Instead of merely tempering his Chaos Heart, he used the technique on his other cores.
The idea was crazy, something Tumenk warned him against. However, he merely smiled and went ahead to do it anyway, and he succeeded.
Not only did he complete the 21 Star Cycle Evolution on his Chaos Hearts, but he also completed the 21 Star Cycle Evolution on his Blood Core, Evil Core, Ice Core, Flame Core, Lightning Core, Void Core, and lastly, Abyssal Core.
He formed the Abyssal Core since he could, and now he has an affinity for it. He didn’t want to leave space inside his Blood Gates, so he formed it by using the connection he shared with it through the Primordial Abyss Chaos Heart Art.
But that wasn’t all he did in the past 20 years.
While proceeding from the Undying Obsidian Body to the Undying Golden Body wasn’t an option, since he had limited time, Kent focused rather on cultivating more of the Nine Demon Body Tempering Art.
He gave himself five years to cultivate at least seven bodies. Safe to say, he failed, but he cultivated up to five bodies. This boosted his strength several times beyond what he could previously harness.
He also expanded his Void Storm Domain from 120,000 light-years to 500,000 light-years. Kent had no idea why he would need that much speed this early in his journey.
After all, even as gods, moving that fast was impractical. In fact, not many could handle that speed.
However, when his mind went back to his past lives, where, during many of the battles he fought, he had been too late to save his friends and allies, he wished he could expand his domain even more.
When the threat arrived, it would cover many worlds, and the ability to be anywhere with a mere flap of his wings would surely come in handy.
Because of that, he went ahead and cultivated his bones to the Primordial Origin Bones stage, leaving him with only the Eternal Devouring Bones and Chaos Ascension Emperor Bones to go before he would fully complete the first form of the Red Bone Chaos Devouring Art.
As for his Eye of Chaos, Kent had unlocked some abilities and even managed to merge his Omniscient Jade Eyes with it.
But the moment he did that, the next couple of evolutions of the Omniscient Jade Eyes were triggered, and before he knew it, he had attained the Omniscient Dao Eyes.
Now, he could see much deeper into the past and further into the future, depending on how strong the target’s soul was. He had done so much that even he had lost track of how much stronger he had become.
However, one thing was certain: he had become powerful, so powerful, in fact, that he could finally return to the Infinity Universe without fear, even if he met the Blood Ancestor again.
His hair had grown longer, and even he seemed much taller in both his human and demi-human forms. As for his dragon form, he had finally reached 1 km in length...
Kent rose to his feet and turned toward the seven tribe leaders and Fiannarel, who had come to congratulate him.
They had all witnessed the achievements he had achieved over the last 50 years, so mere words weren’t enough to convey the joy they all felt for his success.
"Well then, I guess what is left now is the Chaos Ascension King Trial," Kent said after accepting their congratulations.
"It appears so," Parand said, a smile forming on her face.
Kent also smiled and said, "Honestly, even if I somehow manage to pass the trial and free you all, there is a high chance you will be suppressed when you appear in my universe.
As I have already said, the strongest in my world are Primordials, but even they are not allowed to fight in the open. They can only fight in the void since a mere clap of their hands against one another can destroy planets.
That said, there might even be a case where you all would be denied entry. What then do you plan to do if that is the case?"
The seven tribe leaders smiled at Kent’s words. They had, of course, thought of all these things many times already, but at every turn, they didn’t mind being suppressed. As long as they could step out of this place, they would very much enjoy the freedom they would be given.
As for the scenario where they couldn’t leave, they also had a solution.
"Even if we cannot leave, passing the trial will draw the attention of the Ancestors who long left this world. While we don’t know if they are still alive, no matter the situation, passing the trial will send a signal to them, and they will return. Then we can think about what to do next.
But I doubt the Chaos Ascension King would go back on his word. He promised us our freedom as long as we could pass his trial," Tumenk answered, and Kent nodded.
"Regardless, even if the Universe rejects you, I have my own pocket dimension where the universe cannot reach. I will just stash you guys there until I can find a way to talk to the universe and negotiate on your behalf."
They smiled and nodded.
Honestly, Kent didn’t know if this was all part of his plan, but he now believed he was the Chaos Ascension King, and these people might just be an army he had prepared for this very moment.
As for what they were needed for, he could only hope he found out sooner because, if he were to be frank with himself, his mind was aching from thinking about everything.
He let out a sigh and then said,
"Please, kindly take me to the trial area. It has been 50 years already. Even if only 50 days have passed in my world, I have to go back home."
They nodded, and Parand spread her Flame Storm Domain. In no time, it covered 5 million light-years. Kent couldn’t feel or see it, but he knew she had already reached a very far end of the world.
The next moment, he found himself standing before a large temple, so large he had to lift his head just to see it in its entirety.
"Can’t say I am baffled by the sight of yet another temple, but damn, who built this beauty?" Kent exclaimed, mesmerized by the temple’s beauty.
’If I can take this into the tower, won’t it be great.
"The Chaos Ascension King built it entirely from Origin Jade. Imbued within each slab of jade is a trace of Origin Dao."
Kent raised his brow, then, with a wave, a statue standing to the side of the building vanished, appearing inside his Soul Universe.
"My wives and Legion need it."
If it were anybody else, perhaps the tribe leaders would have penalized them. But it was Kent, the person they were all counting on.
They moved, and a few minutes later, entered the temple, where a couple of people stood on the grounds, awaiting the arrival of the seven tribe leaders.
