Chapter 1835: The Big Plans
Chapter 1835: The Big Plans
"So you guys are going, huh?" Kent asked, looking back at the assembly of 69 Night Riders, each seated on their hellhorses, ready to venture back to Hell.
The trip was to inherit their legacies and awaken their true power.
Uncle Drew replied, "Now that we have all finally gathered, the next course of action is, of course, to reclaim our legacies and become true Night Riders. It will take some time, but we will be back."
Kent nodded, not really sad, considering they were going to do something very critical.
He himself had some vital matters to attend to, so he understood their plan. Of course, he wanted to spend some more time with some of the Night Riders, using the chance to clear the air.
Many of them still viewed him as the Ruthless Bandit. While he was indeed the Ruthless Bandit, that part of him was just a thirteenth of who he really was.
He wasn’t a whole being, and that was true, considering the last time he checked, he was also 12 other existences that had once shaken the heart of the universe.
He planned to let them know he wasn’t evil, and he most certainly wanted to apologize to all of them. He had recalled all of the Ruthless Bandit’s memories, and so he knew they had died because of him.
Of course, they had reincarnated and were now on the track to reclaim their powers, but the issue still remained; they had died because of him. So he had planned to apologize.
But it seemed he had to put a pin in that apology until they returned.
"I suppose when you return, all of you will be powerful Night Riders, perhaps even more powerful than you were back during the Dark Era."
They nodded at Kent’s words.
"All the more reason for us to go then," Meldric, one of the Night Riders with three eyes, said. He was a soul cultivator and one of the few people who could injure both the soul and body with the same attack.
Kent could also do it using his Soul Universe. Regardless, he knew that the battles he had planned would soon be led by capable warriors.
"Good luck, I suppose, and the next time we meet, I expect to see you all far stronger than me." Kent smiled and shrugged. "Because at the moment, I can easily solo all of you."
Some of them furrowed their brows, some even trying their best to gauge his strength. However, they saw nothing, which translated to one of two things.
First, either Kent was a mortal or so weak that his aura was nonexistent, or second, he was far more powerful than they could see or sense.
This made them all wonder whether he was the former or the latter. If he were the former, then they could beat some sense into him for thinking he could solo Pseudo-Primordials. However, if he were the latter, then they ought to become even more powerful.
In the end, however, they were reminded of the kind of monster the Ruthless Bandit was. This made them see Kent in a new light and take his words to heart.
"Rest assured, Master, we will not disappoint you," Vargus said, eager to return with more powerful combat power under his belt.
Kent nodded. "I look forward to that then."
Little Night said her goodbyes to her new friends, and still ignoring Kent, she moved toward Nara and sat on the head of her hellhorse.
Nara smiled, knowing she and Little Night had to have a sit-down and talk about Kent, who happened to be the sweetest person she knew.
For now, they had to leave, so she opened the Night Gate, which led directly to the 14th Level of Hell...
"See you soon, love," Nara said, blowing a kiss to Kent. The bastard caught the kiss and pressed it against his chest, causing the lolis to shout...
"AWWWWW!"
They had already said their goodbyes, so as he watched Nara ride away with the rest of the Night Riders, he could only be happy for her. Hopefully, she would return much stronger, like Indie, who was now the Empress of the Underworld.
The first to enter was Uncle Drew, and the last was Nara. Then the gate closed behind them, and Kent was left alone with his lolis.
He didn’t wait much longer since he had to return to the Tower to handle some things. The Tower had fully awakened now, and so he wanted to be there when the gateways to the seven cities in the Chaos Chasm were opened.
He had already informed the netizens of the Tower that an external world would soon merge with it, and people from that world would come into the Tower.
They were to welcome them and make them feel at home.
Of course, he made sure they understood the limitations inherent in the new world’s unique nature, joining them. So they were all aware that they could not venture into the Chaos Chasm just yet.
Of course, they could, but while there, they would have to use their spiritual Qi to keep themselves breathing and alive for as long as they didn’t run out of energy.
He stressed that the last thing he wanted was for people to damage their cultivation by absorbing Chaos Qi into their systems when they didn’t have the appropriate constitution or cultivation method to refine it.
In the end, the big plan was to help them all cultivate a Chaos-type cultivation technique, something his wives had already started thanks to his sister, Fiannarel.
Regardless, Kent knew it would be a while before he headed out and embarked on his other missions.
The first was helping Lady Khronisia forge her weapon, which would also be the right time to summon his hammer, and then head over to the Pill Competition, which was still months away.
Time soon passed, and on this day, Fiannarel finally left the Harem Tower with half of Kent’s wives. This meant Kent could finally spend some quality time with the rest still in the harem tower.
He has some free time on his hands after all...
