Chapter 1871 Eternal Ice Genesis Spear

Chapter 1871 Eternal Ice Genesis Spear

Before the forging began, Lady Khronisia had selected ten materials to use, one of which was the mineral she had obtained at the auction where she and Kent met.

However, since she would be using the sacred flame for the forging, Kent added two more that he believed would amplify the effects of the other ten materials.

The best part was that Lady Khronisia had thought of the two items and even researched them, but she couldn't get her hands on them since they are rather rare.

As for how Kent managed to get his hands on them, she didn't know. But she was happy to have them included in her list of materials to be used.

Kent retrieved the twelve items, each filled with so much energy.

The moment the items were brought out, everyone fell quiet, their focus fixed on what was about to happen. Lady Khronisia summoned the sacred flame and started heating the materials.

Just like in alchemy, she had to work on the materials individually before combining them to achieve what she wanted.

Strangely, compared to the mundane way blacksmiths on Earth forged, cultivation worlds used different methods. Their techniques would be considered impossible, or even godlike, if Earth's blacksmiths witnessed them.

Regardless, as the materials were heated and then melted if needed, Kent remained at the side, his focus fixed on what was happening before him.

'I miss this,' he said inwardly, watching as the blacksmith paid close attention to the forging process. In the past, he had competed in many forging duels and won them all.

He had met thousands of blacksmiths and witnessed many amazing techniques.

Watching Lady Khronisia work, he smiled, his mind going back to the person whose bloodline Lady Khronisia came from.

He was one of the most intelligent blacksmiths Kent had ever met. They had competed a few times and even fought on occasion before finally becoming friends, and both ultimately died during the Flame Wars.

Seeing his friend's descendant forging using techniques he had helped refine left him feeling a little happy. He missed his friend, but he was glad to see his legacy continue.

Time soon passed, and before long, every last material had been melted and poured into the mould. Kent stood back, watching as she worked. Soon, she started hammering the spear into shape.

The technique she was using was one of the best in the Immortal Realm—the Nine-Fold Demon Hammer. It had nine forms, and so far, Lady Khronisia had mastered three of them.

However, with just those three forms, she was proving to everyone that she was worthy of wielding the Nine-Fold Demon Hammer.

One thing that surprised many was the fact that she was able to use the sacred flame as though she had been wielding it for years.

That was the real shocker, and even Kent, who knew this was her first time ever using it, was shaken by how skillfully she handled it during the melting process.

'She will make a good apprentice,' he said to himself and continued to watch.

Hours passed, and before long, an entire day had gone by, but she was only halfway done.

By now, the spear had taken shape, and she proceeded to the artistry of designing and inscribing runes on it. Basically, she was doing what Kent had offered to do, only this time, she was doing it herself.

Many had their mouths hanging open as they watched her inscribe all kinds of soul runes onto the spear.

"I know it is not my place to question the talent and techniques of an elder from the Pill Association, but fuck it, when did Lady Khronisia learn to inscribe soul runes that fast and effortlessly? I mean, it is one thing to have the talent to draw them, and another to possess a soul strong enough to draw them that fast and flawlessly.

Just what the fuck is going on?"

Many thought the same thing. Some even wondered if this was indeed the Lady Khronisia they knew.

"First was how flawlessly she handled the sacred flame. And now, she is drawing runes as if they are mere words. Even more shocking, she is drawing soul runes, something even God Blacksmiths struggle to do."

"Do you guys think this has something to do with Kent Madson? I mean, his arrival caused all this, so this can be attributed to him."

Focus shifted to Kent briefly, but they all quickly wiped the idea from their minds.

Kent might be monstrous, but even he didn't possess the ability to possess someone else's body and draw runes for them. That was just ridiculous.

But since he wasn't the cause, then there was the issue of where Lady Khronisia had learned to draw runes so easily.

"I think we are all forgetting something... If the rumours are to be trusted, then she comes from a bloodline of legacy blacksmiths. Maybe what she showed us before and what she is showing us now proves that she isn't simple."

Even Kent couldn't help but nod at the assumption made by one of the spectators.

Gaia and her minions had helped Lady Khronisia train her soul during her stay in the tower, so that explained her robust soul strength.

However, in terms of talent, everything came from her. Naturally, that told Kent she wasn't simple at all. Clearly, the legacy within their bloodline had either been inherited by her or was in the process of awakening.

Maybe she had already inherited part of it.

But Kent wasn't one to pry into other people's business. All he knew was that, from what Lady Khronisia had shown, she would soon become a sensation that would sweep across the entire Immortal Realm and even the God Realm.

'I only hope she can one day rise to the level of that monster and awaken her true bloodline.'

More time passed, and before long, it had been two days since the forging process began.

Kent had remained on the sidelines for the past two days since his turn hadn't come yet.

However, on this day, after inscribing thousands of runes onto the spear, Lady Khronisia turned and looked at Kent.

"It is time for you to play your part, Kent Madson."
