Chapter 1891 Blood Harvester Reborn
Chapter 1891 Blood Harvester Reborn
The voice that spoke was calm, but the tone was deep, so deep, in fact, that everyone gathered inside the arena felt their backs break into a cold sweat.
"Who dares interrupt an event organized by my Blue Horn Tigerkin Family?" the Pseudo-Primordial arrogantly asked, his expression turning dark.
He looked around for a few seconds, but he saw no one.
However, just as he sneered and was about to proceed, the void cracked, and Kent walked out, holding Ruby's hand.
"Who are you, and how dare you to stop an execution by the Blue Horn Tigerkin Family?" the Pseudo-Primordial asked, pointing the sword at Kent.
"You do know pointing your sword at me means I also have to point mine at you," Kent smirked and turned to Ruby, whose hands were already twitching to draw her sword and attack.
"Relax, he can't die just yet."
Kent's words reached everyone, causing many to wonder why a demigod would say such words. In fact, some even wondered where he had gotten the backbone to say those words.
"I will ask one last time, who are you and what do you want?"
Kent turned to the angry Tigerkin and smirked. "You are not worthy to know who I am. Just know that with me here, this lady will not be dying today, so do yourself the favour and free her before I am forced to commit a massacre."
For a moment, everyone held their jaws open, shocked by what they heard.
Kent is a demigod, which, in the grand scheme of things, makes him someone who shouldn't even have a voice when gods are talking.
His rank is so insignificant that nobody would even flinch if he were to detonate his core right now.
So, for someone like him to declare that his presence will prevent the execution of someone who had offended a family like the Blue Horn Tigerkin Family is clearly just too shocking.
Maybe even borderline shocking.
"Hahahahaha, you, a mere demigod, dare to say such words before me. Do you have a death wish?" the Pseudo-Primordial Tigerkin laughed, his tone turning deadly cold...
Suddenly, a wave of coldness that started to freeze the ground came from him, threatening to turn Kent into an ice popsicle.
Safe to say, when the ice got to Kent, he remained standing, his expression showing a faint smile. He looked at the man, who had noticed his attempt to freeze him had failed, and said...
"I don't want to make things hard for you and your family since I have a history with your ancestor. Consider that as me making your life easy. I wouldn't just commit a slaughter without giving you a chance to take a step back.
Of course, my patience can only be tested for a moment. As to what happens next, trust me, I will not hesitate to cut every last one of you down."
Kent took a deep breath and took one step forward, causing the very ground before him to crack. He took one more step forward, and the ice on the ground melted and evaporated.
"The person you are about to execute is someone you do not want to cross. Trust me, if you dare point your weapon at her one more time, not only will your family be wiped off the face of the universe, but there will be no chance of reincarnation."
Though Kent's words sounded funny, given that he was merely a demigod, many sensed he was very serious. He meant what he said, and that was now showing as everyone gathered started to wonder just who they had come to watch being executed.
"Such big words from a no-name. If you dare, reveal your name to us and see if you or your family will live to tell the tale of your miserable life."
Suddenly, ten new individuals, each having the aura of a Pseudo-Primordial, appeared in the air.
They were all Tigerkins and far stronger than the Pseudo-Primordial who had come to execute the Blood Harvester. The moment they appeared, the pressure in the air increased, forcing Kent to frown.
He looked up and met the gazes of the ten new arrivals.
"So I assume you have made up your minds, huh?"
"Is that even a question? Even if you are the reincarnation of the Grim Reaper, you wouldn't be able to stop us today, so leave while we are still being generous."
Kent sighed, and then he turned toward the Blood Harvester. "Raise your head and look at me."
His words were calm, but unlike before, when the Blood Harvester didn't even bother to look at the Pseudo-Primordial, she slowly and painfully lifted her head and looked at Kent.
"The universe hasn't been kind to you, too, huh?" A smile appeared on his face. "Back then, when you made the decision to sacrifice yourself, I prayed to the heavens to give you a good reincarnation. I suppose my prayer fell on deaf ears.
However, I am here now, stepsister, and I will make sure you have the best life ever."
Kent pointed his finger forward, and before the Pseudo-Primordial Tigerkins could stop him, a red rune shot forward and merged with the Blood Harvester's forehead.
Everything happened so fast that before anyone knew it, a beam of light came from the heavens and bathed the Blood Harvester.
BOOOM
A deadly explosion came from her body, followed by a painful scream that sent shivers down the spines of everyone gathered.
"Hahahahahahahaha..." Kent raised his head and let out hearty laughter.
"You idiots clearly don't know who you have offended. I gave you a chance to step back and put everything behind you, but I suppose you all wish for death more than anything, so you had to act stubbornly.
Now, your fate is sealed, and there is nothing even I can do to change that. Not even your ancestor can do anything to change that."
Kent's laughter continued to spread throughout the arena, prompting the audience to wonder why.
Suddenly, someone in the audience asked, "Mister, if you don't mind me asking, who is this lady?"
Kent turned to the person who asked the question. "She goes by many names and titles, but a very long time ago, she was known as the Blood Harvester."
