Chapter 1928 Revenge Is a Bitch (13)
Princess Lovina has always been a mystery to her sisters.
Before her True Name had been awakened by Kent, they were able to measure her abilities, which were mostly rooted in poison.
However, everything changed when she got her True Name and awakened her Primordial Spirit. Her sisters discovered that, unlike most of them, who allowed entry into their Primordial Spaces, Princess Lovina barred them, citing her Poison Space as a place none of them could survive.
They tried several times to persuade her to allow them entry, but she always said no.
After a while, they stopped asking, knowing she had her reasons and that one day she would reveal them.
Safe to say, that day had come, and watching as the Daughter of Bees appeared and had already started wreaking havoc on the battlefield, even Vexthra, who gave the command, felt like she had made a mistake.
But it was already too late to change her mind.
Princess Lovina had already opened her Primordial Space, and as they watched the second Poison Fiend she was releasing, her sisters became worried.
"Son of Insects, you already know what to do. Kill them all and reap your reward," Princess Lovina said, the smile on her face turning a bit twisted.
The ladies grew even more worried.
"As you command, Mother of Poison," Son of Insects laughed out loud, and he moved, his insects following.
Soon, the enemy's cries sent shivers down everyone's spine.
Somewhere on the battlefield, a Pseudo-Primordial stood with 15 others behind him, his expression showing true fear as the Son of Insects charged toward them.
"Senior, we are mere guests here; we have no plans to interfere in the business of this senior and his people. Please let us go."
"Hahaha, let you go? Are you kidding me?" Son of Insects laughed. "I don't accept surrender, so fight back and allow me to harvest your blood and soul and feed on your flesh."
He pointed forward, and thousands of insects attacked, every last one of them dripping with poison.
"NOOOOOO!"
The Pseudo-Primordial and his people screamed in terror, but their voices were swallowed by the chirping of the insects. Soon, they were swarmed.
The Pseudo-Primordial, seeing no way out, charged out, aiming to save his skin and report to his elders so they could come for revenge. But he could only get so far before someone blocked his path.
A clone of the Son of Insects smiled back at him and said, "Running is not allowed, sweet blood. Allow me to feast on your flesh." His eyes turned red, and then blood flowed from them, causing his already twisted expression to become even more horrific.
His claws elongated, turning into red talons that dripped with blood.
Letting out a yawn, he moved, and the Pseudo-Primordial had no choice but to fight back.
All around, insects and bees kept killing, making sure that with every kill, more insects were born. In no time, the battle that was already chaotic had turned blood-chillingly cold.
However, Princess Lovina wasn't done at all. Since it had come down to this, she might as well go all out and make sure her sacrifice was worth it.
The moment the Son of Insects had spread his insects, she formed a hand seal and pointed it at the third and last portal that had opened behind him.
From within, a true horror emerged as a lady clad in a tattered green cloak walked out, her disheveled hair standing on end. In her hand rested a grimoire dripping with poison and death.
Unlike the Daughter of Bees and Son of Insects, who came with buzzing and chirping sounds, she came with absolute silence.
However, that silence felt like a deadly symphony, one that was guaranteed to bring destruction to everyone.
"Daughter of Poison, cast your spells and unleash true poison on these lost souls," Princess Lovina instructed, her expression now twisted and chilling to even look at.
"As you command, Mother of Poison," Daughter of Poison bowed and teleported, appearing somewhere on the battlefield. Before her, three Pseudo-Primordials and over 3,000 others, ranging from the God stage to the Celestial stage, stood in a formation surrounding them.
"We are pupils from the Heaven's Eye Dream Sect. You cannot attack us, or else you will be annihilated."
One of the Pseudo-Primordials arrogantly said, pointing his finger at the Daughter of Poison.
"Is that so?" A mysterious smile appeared on her face. Then she flipped to a certain page of the grimoire where the picture of a pitch-black cauldron could be seen.
"I have been asleep for a very long time, and I have no Poison Army to do my bidding. Since you losers have presented yourselves, then you have my thanks."
She bit her finger and drew green blood. Bringing it closer to the grimoire, she let it drop onto the page.
The moment her blood touched it, the space around her trembled, and clouds started to form.
"Poison Cauldron: Ten Refining Soul Art."
She slammed her palm into the grimoire and shouted, "Descend!"
The clouds split open, and a large cauldron appeared, oozing with green, poisonous flames. The moment it appeared, the three Pseudo-Primordials rushed out to attack it.
"Futile. Unless your understanding of poison is deeper than mine, there is no way you can destroy the Poison Cauldron." She chuckled and then formed a hand seal.
"Devour!"
Just before the three Pseudo-Primordials could land a blow, they felt the space around them grow cold, and then they found themselves standing inside the cauldron.
"Devour!" Daughter of Poison shouted again, and the 3,000 others were devoured. She laughed, flicked her hand, and green poisonous flames lit up around the cauldron.
Everything happened so fast that before anyone could make head or tail of what had happened, it was already over.
Bone-chilling cries soon came from the cauldron, causing thousands who heard them to tremble.
"Just who are you, Princess Lovina, and what more are you hiding from us?" Vexthra asked, looking at her sister with a worried expression.
A few seconds later, Princess Lovina looked at her and smiled. 'I am fine, big sister. No need to worry about me.'
