Chapter 1929 Revenge Is a Bitch (14)

'Of course I will be worried, you silly. You don't seem to be yourself,' Vexthra said, but Princess Lovina just smiled and replied.

'I know that, big sister. But my life is not in danger.' The smile on her face widened a bit. 'After all, I am the Mother of Poison.'

Vexthra could only sigh and nod. 'Just don't overdo it, and after everything is over, you have some explaining to do.'

'Only natural.' Princess Lovina extended her hand, and a thin sword appeared. She closed her eyes for a few seconds, then she moved, and her body vanished into the distance, appearing before a Pseudo-Primordial in a flash.

Before the latter could react, Princess Lovina had already driven her sword through his forehead, killing him.

"Just who are you really, Princess Lovina?" Vexthra asked, her worry still there.

All they knew was that Princess Lovina lived during the time before the Primordial Era. The Primordial Era was the first era, but before it was heralded, the era of the True Primordials came first.

Back then, the six True Primordials sit at the apex with absolute power over all life in the universe. Over time, their power grew unchecked, leading to the destruction of many worlds.

One such world was the world of the Fae.

They were a race of healers and they are some of the most peaceful people to ever live. Every last one of them wished to heal rather than kill.

However, when disaster struck, everything was destroyed, and everyone died except Princess Lovina. She survived, and in a bid for revenge, she accepted the offer of an ancient Poison Queen.

They merged, and what emerged was the Mother of Poison, a unique being whose power came directly from poison. She was so powerful that when she hunted down the six Primordials, they had to join forces to kill her.

But they failed, and she killed them instead.

Thanks to her, the true Primordial Era came, and in that era, the one true Primordial, the Primordial Chaos Dragon, was born.

They didn't know how deep her abilities went or what she was really capable of.

But clearly, she had more secrets than she had initially let on. Now, they all could only wonder what else she was hiding, considering she had just killed a Pseudo-Primordial when she was only a Demigod.

Things were a bit more chaotic all around.

Vexthra's team was doing their part, and that was plain from the thousands dying every minute. However, the number of enemies kept multiplying by the minute, causing many to feel the heat.

The only saving grace was that the Undead Legion could not die.

Once they were killed, they would return to Kent's Undead Forge, where they would get new bodies and return with their memories and cultivation intact.

Aside from them, the Eternal Wrath Legion was also immortal. The moment they died, they would return to the last floor of the dungeons they came from and undergo reawakening. So, aside from the pain of dying, they were safe.

The Soul Sentinels had a similar power. They wouldn't die as long as Elsa was still alive.

The only ones in danger were the Harem members and the Beast Legion.

Of course, Vexthra wasn't without her meticulous planning. Knowing how dangerous this battle was, she went into the Tower Shop to find life-saving treasures. After a while, she found one, though it was very expensive.

Kent would probably sigh when he sees the precious Tower Points he is planning to use when thet attack the Flame Race.

The life saving treasure she bought is called [Second Life Seal].

Once placed on a person, the moment they are struck with a blow that would kill them, their body will be teleported away to the location of the seal, saving their skin.

The only downside is that it can be used only once every hundred years, and once used, the person involved will fall into a deep sleep for 2 months.

Vexthra made sure her sisters and the Beast Legion got one. So she wasn't worried about anyone dying. She only wished that before they reached the point of death, they would at least kill more than half of their enemies.

Once they regrouped with Crimson Dagger, they would return to finish the job.

'Too bad Alina is not here. She would have figured out a way to blow this place up more effectively,' Zaila, who was in charge of assisting Vexthra, said, issuing a mental command to her Thralls.

Somewhere on the battlefield, one of her Thralls was struck down.

However, the moment it died, Veera's insidious undead power latched onto it, and then it was back up, joining the fight again, only that it is an undead now.

Zaila clicked her tongue in annoyance but said nothing. She knew by the end of this battle, she would lose most of her Thralls. However, since the one getting them was her friend, she had nothing to worry about.

Plus, she had already started planting her mark on more opponents. Soon, more Thralls would be joining her legion of mind-control warriors, ready to kill for her.

Somewhere on the battlefield, Elina stood in the air, her body covered in lightning runes. Ever since she had become the Nine Tribulation Dragon, she had been in one battle after another.

Most happened in the dungeons, and her first major one happened during the Dark Wars. While her performance during the Dark War wasn't great, she was now more determined to perform much better.

So, tapping into the 4 Tribulation Lightnings that she could control now, she unleashed her fury on her enemies, killing one opponent after another.

She may only be an Immortal Lord without a True Name yet, but she was strong, so strong that she was handling True Gods like they were bugs.

"The Nine Tribulation Dragon Bloodline sure lives up to its name," Vexthra commented, and Zaila nodded.

"Too bad she has no True Name and Primordial Spirit to back her power. At this rate, if she doesn't experience a breakthrough in her cultivation or bloodline, she will be the first among us sisters to be eliminated," Zaila remarked, and Vexthra knew she was right.

Unlike them, who were legendary warriors in their past lives, Elina died before she could realize her true potential.

So she had no legendary techniques from her past life to use.

But she had something even more terrifying. She had the bloodline of a Void General and techniques that once shook battlefields, killing many legendary warriors.

'Prove us wrong, Elina. Create your own legend.'
