"What happened?" Vexthra approached Princess Dominique and asked.
"My opponent proved to be a hard nut to crack, so it took some time. But after I ended his life, I transformed him into an undead and branded him with the Mark of the Undead. That took 20 minutes."
"So it took you 35 minutes to kill him, huh?" Vexthra sighed and raised her head, looking at the last three remaining battlefield cubes still hovering in the air.
Pandora, Eliza, and Han were left for them to finally declare that they had taken care of by all five monarchs.
The moment they achieve such a favourable outcome, they would retreat. In Vexthra's expert opinion, once the monarchs were dead, the weaklings could be handled by the Midnight Shadows later.
They still had the two great families who had helped Grim Arcane Legends to pay for their sins. So after this, they were next.
"Where is Kent?" Dominique asked, seeing no trace of him.
"Alina said he has his own war somewhere in the Flame Paradise."
Dominique nodded and suppressed her cultivation base to the Celestial stage before joining the battle.
Soon, the undead warriors awakened by Dominique filled the battlefield, showing that a much more powerful Undead Princess had appeared, and so they had to rise and fight for her.
The casualties kept coming, but Vexthra's side was also gaining a foothold now.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Flame Paradise, Kent stood on the body of a very large wolf, somewhere near the Little Maiden Garden.
After parting ways with Alina, Kent had journeyed alone to the Little Maiden Garden, where his soul weapon, the Blood Spear, was held captive by the overlord of the Little Maiden Garden, Emmet.
He, of course, had no idea he would soon be going against seven Pseudo-Primordials and a Primordial who were hellbent on making sure that by the end of the next blood moon, the spear that had stubbornly refused to submit would finally submit to their Overlord.
All he knew was that he was going for his spear, and there was no way he would let anyone block him.
Safe to say, he was almost near his goal. But as they say, those destined to win never have it easy. Today, Kent met something that could actually end his existence.
Just when he jumped down from the body of the wolf, the void split open, and a powerful claw attack came, arriving before Kent in a heartbeat.
He crossed his sword before him, blocking the attack. However, things didn't die down at all. The moment the claw landed on his sword, it exploded, and Kent was sent flying several kilometres, blood flowing from his lips.
ROAAAARRRR!
A powerful roar came from the void. Then, from within, a gigantic tiger with an imposing presence walked out, radiating a terrifying aura.
Its white-and-red fur rippled with overwhelming power, while each of its four legs was encased in metallic, gauntlet-like armour that ended in razor-sharp talons. Its tail split into four whip-like appendages, each ending in the head of a venomous snake.
ROAAAARRRR!
It roared again, and then it moved, arriving before Kent in an instant.
"WHAT!"
Kent's eyes widened when he saw the claw of this tiger arrive before his chest again. He had no time to even evade since the moment the attack arrived before him, he felt locked down.
Luckily for him, his skin was so thick that no ordinary weapon would be able to cut it. After cultivating the [Obsidian Chaos Dragon Physique], his body had been tempered to another level.
Aside from that, he had also cultivated the [Nine Demon Body Tempering Art] to a level that practically made his body indestructible.
However, the attack wasn't simple either. The moment it landed on his skin, he felt like he had been stabbed by millions of needles.
Blood poured from his mouth again, his body skidding across the ground, creating a large crater.
'Tower, what am I dealing with?' Kent asked, evading a poison attack from one of the four snake-headed tails behind the tiger.

"Somehow, I feel like destroying it will be much easier." Kent smirked and retreated using his overwhelming speed.
"Do we know who sent it after me?"
[No, Master, but it has a familiar smell on it. If I have enough time, I will be able to pinpoint where it came from.]
Kent nodded and then retreated again.
He already had his suspicions about who was behind this calamity, but he couldn't make assumptions just yet, at least not until Tower was done verifying.
For now, he had to end this battle before it drew too much attention.
After retreating again, Kent transformed into his demi-dragon form and then summoned a Celestial-grade sword. He had already given Gaap, his living sword, permission to roam and temper himself.
While leaving Gaap left with Void, the Resentful Dagger that Lady Kenzie created from the broken spear he bought at the auction. And since Mjolnir had no plans to aid him in any way unless he was fighting a Primordial, he knew he had to use his own prowess.
Luckily for him, he had become much stronger after his time in the Chaos Chasm and after reading the first page of the Chaos Ascension King Legacy manual.
"Killing intent won't work against you. Since that is the case, allow me to train the Eye of Chaos." Kent's eyes narrowed, and then a large golden-red eye appeared behind him.
Then, with a snap of his fingers, hundreds of the same eyes appeared in the air around them. The tiger roared and lunged at Kent.
"Not this time, bastard!"
Kent fell backward and vanished into the Eye of Chaos. The next second, he appeared in another eye and unleashed a deadly beam from his sword before vanishing into another eye.
He appeared yet again in a different eye and attacked again. Soon, his attacks filled the space, every last one chipping away at the body of the tiger sent with only one mission: Kill Kent Madson at all costs.
