Emmet stared arrogantly at Kent like the dragon she was.

Kent also held his mischievous gaze, his hammer resting on his shoulder. He looked calm on the outside, but inwardly, he was wary of this lady.

For the first time in a long time, Kent knew this battle was lost; he could not win.

But that didn't mean he was scared to fight it. While he couldn't win, he also wouldn't make things easy for the Primordial, who, at the moment, looked down on him like he was a bug.

At worst, he only needed to hold on for an hour, and Mjolnir would come to help him. In other words, the battle could only last for an hour, and then the winner would be determined.

But one hour was such a long time for someone like him to survive the wrath of a Primordial.

"We can avoid this bloodbath if you will just accept returning the Blood Spear to its rightful owner. You cannot use it, and to be frank with you, when he breaks free, he will come after you if I don't put in a good word for you. So return him to me and let me be on my way."

Kent tried to reason with Emmet, but he was forced to teleport 1km away when Emmet waved her hand, and a beam of lightning struck the space where he had been a split second before.

Before he could even make sense of anything, she moved her finger again, and a sharp arc formed from Dragon energy, erupting and forcing a terrible pressure to descend on Kent.

"Damn."

Kent felt locked down by the dragon's might, but he unleashed his own bloodline power, breaking free. Then his hand moved, and the hammer elongated.

BOOOM

It slammed into Emmet's palm, sending a shockwave all around them. However, things didnt end there.

With a twist of her hand, she unleashed a deadly blow at Kent, aiming to squash him like a bug before the battle even began.

Kent evaded by teleporting 1km away again using the Soul Universe.

"Dragon Roar Hammer Strike!"

Kent unleashed a deadly blow, manifesting a large hammer that seemed to carry some power of dragon might.

The hammer shattered the void as it closed in on Emmet. However, instead of dodging, she merely pointed her finger and blocked it.

CRACK

The void cracked, and terrifying void energy poured out.

"What the fuck?" Kent's eyes widened, a wave of terror seeping into his body. He moved again, using the void crack's pressure to hurl his body back.

But just as he managed to create some distance between them, Emmet appeared right before him and unleashed a finger attack, aiming for Kent's heart.

'Not this time.' Kent summoned thousands of Chaos-scale shields and arranged them between himself and the finger attack.

BANG

The pressure slammed so hard into him that his body dug deep into the ground, going as deep as 2km. But he teleported out and distanced himself again.

"Well, that is just embarrassing." Kent gritted his teeth and smirked.

Though he managed to block the attack before it completely shattered his heart, he still sustained some broken ribs.

Thankfully, he was healed the next second by Lady Kenzie.

"And here I was thinking I would survive an hour against you. At this point, a minute will be a miracle." He wiped blood from his lips and smiled.

'I have Chaos Qi, Ice Qi, Blood Qi, Lightning Qi, Flame Qi, Abyssal Qi, and Evil Qi. There is just no way I cannot last a couple more minutes against her.'

Kent made up his mind, but he didn't get the chance to act since, before he knew it, a hand gripped his head, and the last thing he saw before his mind went blank was Emmet's slender knee.

His head struck her knee, and his eyes rolled to the back of his head. His skull even cracked, and blood seeped from his nose. However, that was merely the start of his torture.

Kent felt his hammer fall from his hand, then his right arm was torn off, his left arm was broken into three pieces, and his spine was shattered.

His ribs were ground to powder, and his eyes were ripped out. Then a kick landed on his mouth, and all his teeth fell out. Afterwards, he felt like his lower body had become light.

Naturally, his legs were also torn off, leaving him completely broken and near death.

But Emmet wasn't done.

She had yet to kill him, and to do that, she went to extremes to make sure Kent's soul was traumatized before he died.

Her claws dug into his chest and grabbed his heart. Then, instead of pulling it out, she channeled lightning into it, cooking his heart inside his body.

The pain of it all left him agonizing as he drifted toward death.

"Damn," Kent muttered, deactivating the Omniscient Dao Eyes.

All that had happened to him would happen five seconds from now. He had seen into the future, and now he had to prevent that.

The problem now was that while he had enough techniques to save himself, they would all take time to take effect, and right now, time wasn't something he had.

He could not fail, or else his death would come in five seconds.

"Ah well, it is not like I have anything to lose." Kent sighed, and then all seven energies he was cultivating surged, and his hammer rose into the air.

"Sixty-Six Hammer Art!"

RUMBLE

The sky darkened, and Emmet, who was about to move toward Kent, halted her advance and looked up. She could sense it: the pressure, the energy, the power of death smiling back at her.

She sensed it all, and without hesitation, she moved.

But Kent wasn't prepared to let her get close.

Just when she was a meter from him, his killing intent surged, and Emmet, who had her claws bearing down on Kent's face, was sent flying 4km away.

RUMBLE

Lightning surged, and the silhouette of a large hammer appeared in the sky. Then Emmet felt a terrible pressure descend on her, instantly slowing her advance toward Kent.

"First Hammer....AaaaahhhhHH!"

Kent screamed as he struck down, his hammer hitting nothing but air. However, up in the air, a large hammer moved and crashed toward Emmet, who finally frowned, her draconic eyes showing fear.
