Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 849: Perfect Chamber

Chapter 849: Perfect Chamber

"Isn’t that Kent?" a disciple said, standing in line in front of a pagoda.

Every last disciple turned and looked at Kent, who was now making his way to the Perfect Chamber.

"I guess he is coming to try out the Perfect Chamber."

"I think so. But to think he waited this long to give it a try."

"Tch, what do you expect? Do you think just because he has shown some abilities, he can be regarded as impressive? I even have a feeling he cheated somehow."

"I think so, too."

"Well, at least I’ll feel better knowing he will be joining the queue like a normal disciple. It is first come, first served after all."

As usual, more disciples started murmuring, saying all kinds of things about Kent.

Some praised him for his feats, while the jealous ones said all kinds of nasty stuff about him. However, he ignored them all and walked toward the front of the line.

"Why isn’t he joining the line?"

"Is he trying to jump ahead of us?"

The murmurs grew louder as the disciples started to shout at Kent’s behavior. However, he didn’t stop; instead, he continued walking until he was right in front of the pagoda, where an Elder stood.

"All disciples must join the line," the elder said, but Kent didn’t answer; instead, he took out the badge Lady Enzi had given him.

The moment the elder saw the badge, his heartbeat slowed down. "Everyone should quiet down." His tone was loud, laced with a touch of panic.

’It is good to have a powerful backing,’ Kent said in his head.

"Disciple Kent, be ready. The moment the current disciple exits, you will go next."

"Thank you." Kent nodded and stored the badge away. He then walked to one side and sat down. Turning to the disciples, he smiled, further infuriating them.

Of course, his fans were more than happy to see their idol get away with what everyone was protesting.

The elder looked at Kent and sighed inwardly.

’Lucky bastard. To think he has already gained the favor of someone like Lady Enzi, even going as far as receiving her Supreme Badge.’

It was safe to say the elder also didn’t like Kent, for he was one of the fair ones. He always does things by the book, so no matter one’s strength level, he would make them join the line.

However, against Lady Enzi’s Supreme Badge, he was powerless, and that alone was enough to tell everyone how powerful the person standing behind Kent was.

’I should probably take Vexthra’s idea and help those I want. After all, I have more than enough ways to help them without affecting myself or my legion.’𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Far back in the long line, a disciple retrieved a device and spoke into it. Far in the core sect, a disciple moved toward the Pill Princess’s immortal cave to alert her of Kent’s presence.

She, after all, wants to get her hands on Kent, and, well, it turns out that the dragon also wants to get hold of her.

---

[30 minutes later – Time to enter the Perfect Chamber]

After waiting for 30 minutes, the disciple who had been in the chamber when Kent arrived came out, scoring only 54% in the challenge.

"Disciple Kent, you may enter now."

Kent stood up and stretched before walking toward the door leading to the Perfect Chamber. After a few steps, he reached the door.

He first turned and looked at the scoreboard, where the current strongest names in the inner sect were listed.

’Damian Dhark... 65%... It appears that there are still some tigers hidden within the sect.’

He sighed and then walked into the chamber.

"Wait a minute, isn’t this the sword bridge?" Kent almost shouted when he appeared on the sword bridge. It felt as if he were back inside the tower; however, the real tower cleared his doubts.

⟦This is how the Perfect Chamber has been designed, Master. It picks a random object from your memory and models it for the challenge.

Of course, it is not a perfect replica because this chamber is not perfect. However, I estimate its accuracy at 95%, which, in my opinion, is sufficient for a medium-sized world.⟧

’I see. Then I suppose Gaia would now have to build a True Perfect Chamber, huh?’

⟦Yes, Master.⟧

’Very well. One last question. How will I know how much stronger I am compared to my true potential?’

⟦I will be updating the Master.⟧

Kent smiled and took a few steps forward. A few steps in, the space cracked, and a replica of himself clad in dark leather armor and wielding a sword sheathed in a golden scabbard appeared through it.

’Damn it.’

Kent felt his body pressed down when his perfect self—or at least a 95% perfect version of him—appeared.

"Looks like you are still lacking," the perfect clone said, looking smugly at Kent.

’Is talking a thing for the clones in here?’ Kent asked the tower when his clone spoke.

⟦This clone is a version of you, Master, so of course, he can speak just like you.⟧

’Just great.’ Kent straightened his back, refusing to let his own clone dominate him.

’A peak Core Formation cultivator, huh? So that is how strong I will become one once I reach the peak... what a monster!’

It was safe to say the aura of even Spirit Kings in a High world like Fedora didn’t have much effect on Kent.

However, seeing his perfect clone self was affecting him with his aura, Kent could only smile.

"Just because you have a few upgrades doesn’t mean you are superior, Mr. I am still me, and you are a mere clone," Kent smirked. However, the next second, he felt a powerful force slam into his soul.

’The hell.’

⟦I forgot to tell the Master, but your soul immunity doesn’t work when fighting yourself.⟧

Kent wasn’t even done when another powerful attack slammed into his mind, causing him to nearly black out.

However, he didn’t; instead, he activated the clone bodies, immediately swapping places with one of them. If he had been a moment too late, he would have died before the battle even began.

The clone appeared behind him at his original position and drove his sword through his heart. Thankfully, Kent moved before it could happen.

’That was close.’ Kent swapped with another clone body and was about to lunge at his Perfect Clone when he also activated his clone bodies.

’Damn, this is not going to be an easy battle.’

Kent retreated and decided to approach the fight differently.

His legs lit up, forming two rings on both sides, and then his speed surged. He dashed at the Perfect Clone, who had already prepared before Kent even got there.

However, Kent didn’t stop in his tracks. Instead, he closed the distance, and just when he was about to attack, he vanished and appeared behind the perfect clone.

However, just when he expected his attack to connect, his stabbing attack was easily blocked by the clone, forcing Kent to retreat again.

’I suppose I need to see how brilliant I have become with the sword.’

Kent coated his sword with sword Qi and moved. This time, when he was near the Perfect Clone, his sword came down in a quick vertical slash—one that was deflected.

But Kent pressed on, and soon a close combat unlike any Kent had fought before began.
