Chapter 895: World Emergency
Chapter 895: World Emergency
[Two Months Later - Outside Time]
It had already been two months on the outside since Kent fell into the blood enlightenment state.
Life was going on as usual.
First, Lady Enzi had achieved so much that the moment she came out of the tower, the urge to ascend immediately came to her mind.
Not only had she reached the Sage Body cultivation stage, but she had also broken her 7th limit, which, strangely, was on her soul, giving her so much power that even she didn’t know was possible to have that much strength at the Core Formation stage.
Aside from that, she also gained Glass Dao enlightenment, expanding her understanding of the glass element, which allowed her to better her Glass Realm.
It was a known fact that gaining enlightenment was something that could push one’s understanding of whatever they had gained enlightenment on by several folds.
This time, her understanding of her glass element had expanded, and that gave her the confidence that she could survive in a Great High World.
However, she found out Kent had yet to come out, so she chose to handle other matters, like making sure her disciple, who had also made tremendous progress, gained more understanding now that she had also achieved this much insight.
Safe to say that when Kent comes out of the tower, she will thank him greatly.
Aside from her, Lady Liora had also made progress with her disciple. Thanks to the Pill Princess, now reverting back to how she should have been in the first place, Lady Liora finally managed to impart the techniques she wanted to give her.
This meant she was also ready to ascend, considering she had nothing left to teach her disciple. Of course, she can choose to stay here for a few more years and further guide her disciple.
However, she wanted to go back to her world to handle some issues troubling her over the past months.
But just like Lady Enzi, she was also waiting for Kent to come out before she would leave.
As for Kent’s little sister, Nyss, she had also come out a few times to see if Kent was around, but after finding out he was in seclusion, she stopped coming and instead focused on mastering the skills Kent gave her.
But all in all, life in the sect was good.
However, back in Sonox, a danger was looming over the world.
A couple of months before coming to the sect, Kent sent a message to the Hand through the leader of the Oracles.
The message was delivered well.
However, they disregarded it, and so when Kent came to Elarion, they came after him again, and that was when he made sure they understood what real terror looks like.
However, while Kent managed to send a rather brutal message this time, that escalation was a recipe for disaster that even Kent didn’t see coming.
Not that he could have predicted the Hand would have such a plot in mind. It was safe to say she was indeed a schemer, one who put a lot of thought into her plans.
When the mysterious face that appeared in the mirror told her to use the Ancient Vampire race in her plot, she accepted that outcome.
But she didn’t immediately go to them, for she knew that even at her strength, which she had managed to recover a few weeks ago, entering the Death Region was like throwing her defenseless body to a pack of wolves.
So she waited and instead focused on finding the keys of the Apocalypse.
Seven days ago, the last of the Seven Keys of the Apocalypse was found.
The moment the Keys were found, the sky turned gloomy, for the inevitable was finally upon everyone. Kent knew of this, for he had been waiting for this very moment to arrive.
It was his destiny to experience the apocalypses, after all.
But yet again, what happened next shook everyone days later.
While everyone was going about their lives, the Sea Race was colluding with the Hand to do something very bad. In fact, this bad thing was something not even Lord Leviathan was aware of, for it went against everything he stood for.
He may be arrogant and even unreasonable most of the time; however, he never once goes to extreme lengths, such as catching all those who possess the bloodline of the Wynthralls—the same bloodline flowing through Elaine’s body—and offering them as a bargaining chip to the Ancient Cursed Vampire Race.
Nobody saw that coming. However sinister this plot was something that had been in the works for years now.
It all started 13,000 years ago when the Hand found out a very important secret that had been kept under wraps for a very long time.
It turns out the Ancient Vampire race isn’t as simple as one might expect.
Their lineage came from a very dangerous force in this universe that nobody wanted to mess with, especially during the Evil Era: the Forsaken Race.
They are a race of powerful beings that have been forsaken by the universe. They don’t have a root, for their root has been wiped from existence.
Legend has it that they came about due to an unholy union between the Doom Race, who evaded the universe and were the cause of the fall of the Primordial era.
These forsaken races are dangerous, for they are the only beings in the entire universe who aren’t affected by the restrictions on worlds.
This means they can go anywhere they want, and their cultivation wouldn’t be affected in any way.
Thankfully, there was a restriction on them. Because of this restriction, they cannot leave their worlds.
However, just like everything, there is a loophole, and this loophole was the Ancient Vampire Race.
It was said that whenever a Vampire race is cursed, their bloodline calls to the Forsaken Race.
The Hand somehow found out this secret, and so while Kent was looking forward to the Apocalyptic Race to emerge, a sinister deal was instead made between the Hand, the Sea Race, and the Vampire race, who happened to be a cursed race.
This unholy alliance resulted in 7,508,000 beings having the blood of the Wynthralls being sacrificed, and the barrier that was keeping the Vampire Race contained came down.
A battle that was supposed to be between the Sea Race and the Vampires was now directed toward the Elves, Dragons, and the other races.

[One Hour Before The Apocalypse - Supreme Immortal Sect - Sect Leader Deimos POV]
Just like Lady Enzi and Lady Liora, the sect master, who had also received Kent’s generosity, was hard at work for months. Three days ago, he managed to breach the 8th limit on his body and was now ready to ascend.
However, just as he was making up his mind, preparing what he must do and where to go, a signal was lit.
"The seal is broken," he said as he vanished, appearing in the core sect. With a wave of his hand, bells started ringing, signalling everyone to come out.
"All disciples should assemble. Our world is under attack." Within minutes, every last disciple was gathered in the three main sections of the sect.
"Sect Elders, initiate the Doomsday Formation."

[One Hour Before The Apocalypse - Elarion - Uncle Drake’s POV]
Uncle Drake, who went to spend some weeks in Elder Lance’s world, came back a week ago and entered seclusion. He gained some insight into his cultivation during his time away, so he went into seclusion to digest it.
However, just as he was making headway, something sinister spread over the world, causing his expression to change.
He vanished and appeared in the throne room where the Elven King was having a meeting with the Dwarven King.
"Alert the rest of the world. We are under attack."
