Chapter 896: The Hand Struck Back
Chapter 896: The Hand Struck Back
[The Hand Headquarters - Amix and the Mirror Woman - Two hours before the Apocalypse]
Inside the dark room with the mirror, the leader of the Hand, who was referred to as the Hand by everyone, stood before the mirror.
A few seconds later, the unrecognizable face of the beautiful lady with the red horns appeared on it, just like the last time.
"Twice within a year, huh? Why have you called, Amix?" the lady asked, sounding strange.
The Hand, whose real name was Amix, sighed. "Things are ready, Mother. I have already secured the blood of the cursed ones and even managed to trap the Leviathan."
"Good job, my child," the lady smiled. "How about the one called Kent Madson, human?"
An angry look appeared on Amix’s face when she heard the question. It was as if hearing Kent’s name was a bane that ate at her heart and soul. She most definitely would love to kill Kent at all costs.
This sight pleased the woman in the mirror.
"I haven’t heard from him in months now. My sources inside the Supreme Immortal Sect told me he is now a disciple there."
A look of relief seemed to appear on the lady’s face. For a moment, she thought what she had been concerned about was indeed the case.
As someone in a High world, she had heard of Kent. At first, she didn’t put any effort into finding out who this Kent was; however, after weeks, when she heard of Kent appearing on Planet Manelaus, she started to panic, knowing her daughter was in a world nobody knew this mysterious Kent was from.
Again, as someone who couldn’t leave her world, she wasn’t about to send everyone to a medium world knowing a very important mission that, if successful, would not only free her and her people but would also bring them a step closer to freeing all Forsaken clans scattered in the vast universe.
She couldn’t risk sending the whole universe to Sonox.
So she said nothing to anyone, for she didn’t want to compromise her daughter. Now hearing Kent wasn’t around to mess with their plans, she was pleased.
"How about the sacrifice?" the lady asked.
"I have prepared everything. The gate will take an hour to open, so I made sure the Cursed Vampires and the Sea Race will pave the way for your arrival, Mother."
The lady smiled. "You are the weakest among your sisters, Amix; however, you have proven to be the most brilliant of them all. I will be sure to recommend you to the Lord when all this is over."
Amix bowed slightly. "Thank you, Mother."
"Don’t worry about it. However, now that the keys have been found, you can start the ritual. In two hours, we will meet, and after we lay waste to every living creature in that world, we will expand to the other worlds and do the same.
This time, the Forsaken Race will rise again and will bring the entire universe to its knees. After all, the Chaos Dragon won’t be here to save them again."
The lady burst out laughing, her red eyes shining brighter as her evil plan had finally been achieved by Amix.
"See you soon, Mother."
With that, Amix turned away to get started with the ritual that would bring the world to its doom soon. After years of planning, the Forsaken Race was ready to appear again in the universe.

[Elarion]
"My queen, we have received word from the Elven queen. The Sea Race has started their assault," a Half-Elf said, holding a communication crystal in his hand.
"Update the first team, tell them to hurry up. The rest start moving out. Lord Drake had already left a minute ago; he will be reaching there in no time."
Queen Jascia commanded, clad in her battle armor, ready to head out and join the battlefield
King Thalirion was already on his way to help the Elves, who were now allies with them.

[The battlefield]
The Elven kingdom was one of the strongest in the world, so when the Sea Race launched the sudden attack, they were ready.
Uncle Drake had already made the Half-Elves aware of the impending danger, so all kingdoms were alert.
The moment the sea race appeared, the battle began.
Everywhere was on fire.
Leading the charge was Lady Aelith, who had come out of seclusion when she sensed the danger.
She wielded a short sword and was clad in black armour.
"Push them back. Don’t let them break the line," she commanded as she clashed with a Seahorse whose body was covered in metallic armour.
It held no weapon, but every time it moved, a wave of water sharpened to the point that a mere shockwave did more damage to the Elves. Lady Aelith was at the receiving end of this bombardment.
However, as someone who had been in many battles, she wasn’t being pressed. She held a determined look as she dodged and attacked.
All around her, Elven warriors were killing and being killed at a fast pace. However, she understood they were warriors, so she wasn’t looking sad like the Elven warriors who couldn’t help fearing for their own lives.
Watching their friends die wasn’t exactly the ideal sight this early morning.
"There are more coming..." Suddenly, an Elf standing on a tall wall shouted.
Lady Aelith looked at the vast sea, and she could see crab-like beasts coming in the thousands. Her pupils shrank; however, she had no time to focus on that since the Seahorse wasn’t holding back at all
"Deploy countermeasures," she shouted, knowing just a few minutes into the battle she was already deploying one of their trump cards.
"Deploy countermeasures!"
"Deploy countermeasures!"
Shouts echoed in the surroundings as large machines forged by the finest blacksmiths in the Dwarven Kingdom rolled forward.
"Load," an Elven general clad in red armour who was in charge of the machines shouted.
Ammunition made from beast cores was loaded into the machines.
He raised his hand and was about to give the order to open fire when, out of nowhere, a large dragon bathed in flames crashed devastatingly into the thousands of crabs coming from the sea.
"Halt your attacks. Reinforcements have arrived," Uncle Drake spoke, appearing from the void holding a spear bathed in flames.
He used a skill called ’Flame Berserker Dragon’ in killing thousands of sea beasts before making his appearance. When the Elves saw her, they felt their energy rise.
"Leviathan, appear now, else don’t blame me for killing your kin," Uncle Drake’s voice boomed as he appeared over the sea, looking coldly at the thousands of beasts still emerging from the sea.
A few seconds after the declaration, a sea dragon rose from the water and turned into a humanoid form.
"Lord Leviathan won’t appear because he has been trapped. This means, unless you alone can kill all of us, by the end of today, you all will die by our hands."
The water dragon that Kent fought back when he was on his way to the Half-Elf kingdom charged at Uncle Drake, who, instead of blocking his attack, retreated just in time to evade a piercing attack from a trident.
Out of the water, a Manta Ray bathed in lightning appeared. However, he wasn’t alone. Behind him were hundreds of thousands of Manta Rays, each bathed in lightning, that appeared.
The sea dragon merely acted as bait for the real attack. However, Uncle Drake saw it coming, so he dodged.
But the next second, everything turned ugly.
The sea churned, and six more sea beasts — an Anglerfish, a Giant Octopus, a Giant Crab, a Seahorse, a White Shark, and a Dolphin — appeared surrounding Uncle Drake.
Soon, the entire sea was covered by over a million sea beasts.
In an instant, the battle came to a standstill.
