Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 1945: Surfing with the Wives

Chapter 1945: Surfing with the Wives

His daughter planted her hands in the wet sand, and pale roots came bursting out around her. They broadened into smooth wooden boards, each one parting from its stem with a crack before another grew in its place.

Quinlan drew them out to his wives on the water. Ayame grabbed the first and laid herself across it, her bare feet kicking behind her as it carried her over a swell.

"What are we doing with these?"

"Surfing. I’ll make you a wave, and you see how long you can stay on top of it."

"Oh, that sounds fun!" Serika snatched up a board and hugged it against her chest. "Make mine a big one, Quin!"

"On our feet?" Vex asked, pushing herself up on her board. She studied the wood beneath her, then the waves farther out. "I have to try this~"

"Let me guess." Ayame’s eyes narrowed, though the edge of her lips refused to fall into line. The delicate samurai was grinning hopelessly as she said, "You’ll come with us and show off."

"Show off?" Quinlan chuckled. "I wouldn’t dare. I just want to enjoy the waves with my beloved wives."

"Hmph." She reached for his arm to pull him closer. "Then you’d better teach me."

"With a joyous heart," Quinlan replied. "Synchra. Let’s go."

Synchra tightened around his ankle in answer. Quinlan looked down at the black band, amused. His armor had taken the demotion from wedding suit to anklet very personally.

"Will you help me, partner?"

A second passed, then another.

Then the anklet came apart in a rush of living metal that spread across the surface. Synchra formed a sleek black board beneath him, crimson seams glowing along its curved nose, and Quinlan climbed aboard.

"I’m forever grateful."

Synchra hummed beneath his soles.

Quinlan retrieved the Soul Reaper from his ring too, holding the saber out over the waves.

The blade tugged at his fingers, eager to be released, and he let it go with a chuckle. It flew alongside him for a moment before dipping into the sea, cutting through a crest that promptly collapsed over his head.

"Papa!! Rosie wants to come too!"

His daughter was waving at him from the sand. Quinlan used wind magic to grab onto the green lady and bring her to him.

"Rosie wants her throne!!"

"After today, you certainly deserve this much," Quinlan chuckled, making Rosie beam with overwhelming joy.

He lifted her under the arms and settled her on his shoulders, her legs hanging down his chest. Rosie gripped two fistfuls of his hair and took in the sea, thrilled with the improvement.

"Rosie can see all the mommies!"

"Then you can help me ensure none of them are left behind."

"Rosie will report everything!" she announced, her hands making a miniature telescope as she diligently scouted her mothers.

Quinlan kissed her knee before taking her ankles in his hands. His daughter was sitting on his shoulders, his brides were gathering around him, and he had the sea to play with.

He was going to enjoy this afternoon to the fullest.

With a pull of his water magic, Quinlan brought all their boards into a loose curve facing Synchra.

"Ah! I’m not made for this!" Jasmine caught Aurora’s hand as their boards bumped together.

"H-hey, don’t cling to me!" Aurora yelped in return, then the two women somehow managed to hug each other as they helplessly began falling toward the water like a domino.

But before the water could soak their dresses, Quinlan steadied them both with his wind.

"..." Aurora’s eyes were pointedly narrowed toward Jasmine once the pair was once again standing upright on their boards.

"S-sorry..." Jasmine giggled, cheeks slightly pink.

Aurora soon dropped the act, joining her cherished friend in laughter.

"Watch my feet," Quinlan spoke up, beginning the instructions. "One ahead of the other, near the middle. Keep your knees bent so you can adjust when the board moves."

He raised a gentle swell beneath them and leaned across its slope, letting Synchra turn under his weight.

"That’s how you steer. I’ll give you a little wave to start with."

"Little sounds wonderful," Aurora decided.

Jasmine stood beside her, eyed the wobbling board, and immediately reached for Quinlan.

"My love, perhaps a hand would- ah!"

Her board tipped as she stretched across the gap. Quinlan caught her with wind once again, then used water to perfectly set the board beneath her before lowering the woman down onto it once again.

This time, the governor of the grand Iskaris Empire bit her lip in full focus, refusing to embarrass herself a third time.

Rosie bent over his head to inspect Jasmine’s feet, her hair falling into his eyes.

"Jasmine Mommy is standing!"

"Jasmine Mommy would like to stay standing, sweetheart," the governor replied, then giggled again when her board rocked. "Kya!!"

She held Quinlan’s hand until the wobbling stopped, then released him to try a turn of her own.

Beside her, Aurora knew which way she needed to lean, but kept correcting too late, her arms swinging wider with every wobble.

"Quin! How are you meant to turn when it keeps-"

*Splash!*

"Oh, for fuck’s sake!"

Quinlan used his water magic to set a screen of foam between his wet wife and the onlookers, hiding her gorgeous body until he dried her dress within moments.

"As possessive as ever..." Aurora giggled, holding onto him.

Lucille grabbed Aurora’s board and brought it back to her, smiling sympathetically.

"Would you like to try beside me? I think I got the hang of it."

"Already?!" Aurora’s eyes widened. Then she, too, steeled her resolve. "Yes, please."

On Quinlan’s other side, Ayame had already found her balance.

The samurai gathered her skirt clear of her feet and leaned into her first turn, cutting across the face of the swell with an eager grin.

She glanced back at him as she passed, plainly waiting to see whether he had noticed.

"As expected of my acrobat of a samurai~" Quinlan mused, making Ayame pause, for his face held a lot more emotion for her person than she had expected.

"Shall I make it steeper?" he offered.

"...Sure! I want to see how far I can lean!"

Quinlan raised the water ahead of her, and Ayame drove her board up its slope. White silk fluttered around her legs as she turned at the top, coming back down with a triumphant laugh.

"Did you see that?!"

"Rosie saw!!!"

"I certainly did," Quinlan agreed, admiring his beautiful bride. "Again?"

"Of course again~"

Serika was already coming up behind her. His former teacher had stood on her first attempt, adjusted her feet, and begun asking what else the board could do.

Now she planted one hand on its nose and swung her legs over herself, her red ponytail flying through the spray.

"Why is the fire chick so good in water? This should be my domain," Ayame observed as Serika landed facing backward.

"She’s always been the coolest one..." Aurora offered.

"It’s fun!!" Serika whooped. "Quin, can you give us a bigger wave?!"

He happily obliged. The wave rose beneath both women, and Serika dropped into a low, loose stance while Ayame took the higher line.

Quinlan watched their strong legs carry them through the turns, wedding silk billowing behind them. His wives were fucking magnificent, and they knew exactly how much he was enjoying the sight.

Ayame caught his gaze as spray struck her skirt. He drew the water away, and her chin rose with a pleased smile.

"You’re very happy with yourself, hmm?"
