Chapter 3093: Could You Not Point a Knife at Me, Please?

If the entrustor’s mother had really been taken and was under their control, then Ning Shu would use Gong Rong to exchange for the entrustor’s mother.

However, she then thought of the Gong family’s armed forces and the possibility of the police getting involved…

Jesus.

She couldn’t help venting her frustration by kicking Gong Rong awake. He opened his eyes and blinked dazedly at Ning Shu. “Have we docked?”

“I’ve got something to ask you.” Ning Shu planted her foot on a stool. She twirled a gleaming knife in her hand.

Gong Rong stretched lazily. He propped his head up on one arm as he lay on his side, his posture indolent. “Ask away.”

“Is my mom in your people’s hands?” Ning Shu held the bright blade between her two fingers. Her eyes narrowed as she aimed the knife at his face.

“With you acting like this, I really don’t know how to respond. Could you not point a knife at me, please?” Gong Rong smacked his lips. “I’m kind of thirsty. Got any water?”

Ning Shu’s expression was cold. “All you ever think about is drinking water. What use is a piece of trash like you?”

“Yeah, your mom’s with us. But we sent her to a good hospital for treatment. After all, you joined the game, didn’t you? Treating your family well is the least we can do.”

Ning Shu: …

So she was in their hands.

“But you kidnapped me so who knows what her condition is like now?” Gong Rong spread his hands. His attitude was utterly insincere.

Ning Shu could guess what happened afterward even with her toes.

The entrustor’s mother had severe uremia. If the treatment was stopped, her fate was up in the air.

After the entrustor died on that deserted island, there was no way that the Gong family would pay for her mother’s treatment or surgery. Why would they?

Ning Shu looked at Gong Rong with suspicion. She didn’t believe a word he said.

Only one person would end up getting that ten million, and the moment they got the money, they’d have prison waiting for them.

D*mn it. This was infuriating. Ning Shu stabbed Gong Rong in the leg without a second thought.

Gong Rong: …

This moody, lunatic woman…

Ning Shu licked the blood off the knife as she stared at Gong Rong.

His face had gone pale, but he blinked and said, “You know, you’re pretty sexy like this.”

Ning Shu almost sliced her own tongue. She couldn’t be bothered to respond and went back to steering the boat.

As soon as Ning Shu wasn’t looking, Gong Rong immediately bared his teeth in pain and clutched his bleeding leg.

When she glanced back, Gong Rong instantly masked the grimace with a composed expression. He rested his chin on one hand and offered her a small smile. “Anything else you want to ask?”

“If something happens to my mom, I’ll kill you. You’d better pray nothing happens to her.”

Gong Rong replied calmly, “I fear nothing.”

“You’re sick and are about to die, but what if your sister dies too?” Ning Shu said with a sweet smile.

Gong Rong flipped his hair back and tugged at his collar. “If you’ve got a problem, bring it to me. Leave my sister out of it.”

Ning Shu glanced at the fake breasts Gong Rong had exposed. Honestly, they looked pretty realistic.

She let out a cold ‘heh, heh’ from her throat, then reached out and crushed one of them with her hand.

“Next time, I’ll be crushing something lower…” Her gaze slid downward and paused between his legs.

Gong Rong crossed his legs calmly. “I like girls with a sense of humor like yours.”

He puffed out his chest. “Help me crush the other side too—might as well make it symmetrical.”

Ning Shu smiled as well, then slapped him hard across the face. “I don’t mind giving the other side a matching one too. You know, to make it symmetrical.”

“Thanks, but I’ll pass.” Gong Rong stuck out his tongue to lick the blood from the corner of his mouth.

Ning Shu nodded. Now it felt more like a proper kidnapper-hostage relationship.

However, just thinking about how the entrustor’s mother was in the Gong family’s hands made her extremely annoyed. Seriously annoyed.

After several days at sea, they finally reached the shore and docked.

“We’ve arrived, we’ve arrived!” the tanned girl cheered. Halfway through shouting, she burst into tears.

Finally, they had made it out alive.

God knew how terrified she’d been this whole time.

Ning Shu docked the boat and dragged Gong Rong ashore.

It wasn’t a big, bustling port. It was just a small fishing village.
