Chapter 632: Game of Chaotic Ascension

Chapter 632: Game of Chaotic Ascension

Bottom-tier plane | Playground of Chaos.

Almond, Lily, Natalia, Kayla, Ainen, Saffa, Clovelle, Fraisea, and Gopu stood before a 10-meter-tall blood crystal with dark gold carvings that glimmered with colorful hues.

Behind them were mountains.

Not natural mountains.

But mountains of resources that they annexed from 27% of kingdoms in this bottom-tier plane.

In front of these small mountains was an exotic storm.

Exotic because it was an amalgamation of intricate formations created between Dreadlings, Grimblades, and Ainen’s flame.

The resources were flying towards the storm, going through a refining process, and turning into energy that fed into the blood crystal.

"For now, this domain will only cover up to an 11,493-kilometer radius. That’s still only 13% of the area of this bottom-tier plane," Ainen said, his eyes glinting. "But this will expand at the rate of a 1,392-kilometer radius per day. The Chaos Refinement Storm we created will continue to grow and start absorbing all resources and energy from this place."

"That’s better than we expected." Almond grinned.

"So... it’s time?" Gopu asked.

"It is time."

Everyone stretched their hands forward and touched the blood crystal.

Their reflections filled with cards of their decks while the blood crystal rapidly pulsed.

A faint translucent wave in a dome shape began expanding from it rapidly until it covered an 11,493-kilometer radius. Then it finally slowed down.

Shortly after, every single being within this domain suddenly saw a screen appear in front of them, with words filled with intent that everyone could understand.

"What the hell is this? A game?" a bald slave in one of the cities muttered lazily.

[ You are now part of the Game of Chaotic Ascension. ]

[Within this domain, killing another person will grant you a point. When you gather 10 points, you can spend them to buy a random card. There are over 1,000,000 varieties of cards, and the variety will increase every day.]

[You can also fuse the cards to get better cards. Some cards will only unlock through fusions.]

[Everyone starts at Bronze-rank, and spending points will increase your rank.]

10,000 points to reach Silver-rank.

100,000 points to reach Gold-rank.

1,000,000 points to reach Asura-rank.

[Once you reach Asura-rank, you can become a member of the Order of Regalon Regalia.]

[This is a chance for those of you who have lost your decks and been reduced to slaves.]

KACHA!

The bald slave had a scythe in his hand that went through twelve other slaves in a second, splitting them into two.

[You have gained 12 points]

The dead slaves turned into particles and vanished, all moving towards the same direction.

The bald slave was surprised.

’What the... This is real.’

"Give me a card."

The moment he finished speaking, he felt pain in his hand.

But there, a card had appeared.

[Dreadling: Violet Thunder Crab]

Combat Power: 532k

-Effect:

—> Summons a Violet Thunder Crab with a set of skills.

The bald slave used the card, and it really summoned a five-meter-tall giant Violet Thunder Crab!

Suddenly, the bald slave’s head slid off his shoulder.

A woman had appeared behind him, long crimson hair, eyes ruthless.

[You have acquired 13 points.]

She bought a card.

...

"And so it starts." Natalia laughed. "This is insane."

"But brilliant." Fraisea’s eyes glinted. "We needed to do something about our Geneline, and we created a Geneline realm."

Everyone had manifested their Genelines.

The main use of a Geneline was to share powers they have with others of the Geneline.

Due to the infinite-mechanism decks that Almond and others have, they decided to share all of their combat arsenal in a single Geneline that all of them shared, and created this Geneline Core and constructed this domain’s nexus.

The main ones running this domain were the Dreadlings of Lily, fabricated spirits of Almond, and Ainen’s exotic flames that could adopt characteristics of anything, along with his map card’s formation that kept track of the domain.

Almond and Lily had over 100,000 varieties of Grimblades and Dreadlings.

Ainen was also nearing that number with his myriad of flames with different characteristics.

These three X-rank individuals had more than one infinite-mechanism deck of unending potential and limitless applications.

Natalia, Kayla, Fraisea, Clovelle, Saffa, and Gopu also had infinite-mechanism decks, but they didn’t have limitless applications, like how Ainen, Almond, and Lily could destroy and absorb everything external and adopt it as their own.

Still, people could get various instruments with myriad effects from Natalia’s arsenal of powers, along with luck-based weapons that could either do little damage or extremely high damage.

Kayla shared a wide variety of plant spirits with myriad effects, as well as various unique weapons and armors made from plant spirits.

Saffa, Clovelle, and Fraisea shared various spell cards and their weapons.

The most important thing was that since they unified their Geneline and created a system here through it, all these people, once buying a card from them, were forcefully injected with their Geneline imprint.

So they basically became part of this Regalon Geneline.

With the fusion system in this domain, whereby everyone could fuse cards to create new ones, this would automatically increase the arsenal of powers shared within the Regalon Geneline.

Using this bottom-tier plane, Almond and others were securing soldiers for their kingdom.

Not just any soldiers, but slaves who had lost everything and then rose through the ranks by surviving in this bloody playground of chaos.

There were over a trillion slaves, and they came every day into this bottom-tier plane.

The domain had barely covered 2/10ths of this plane, but with the refining storm designed to absorb all scattered energies and resources within the domain to provide energy to run this game, this domain would continue to expand, and the storm would also grow bigger to increase its range of absorption.

"Alright, now that we started the game, let’s properly expand it." Lily’s eyes glinted. "If we leave this like this, the other thousands of kingdoms will destroy this domain."

"Let’s go then. It’s time to continue our expedition." Almond chuckled. "Once we have conquered over 70% of this plane and put it under this game, our Hell Mode quest will be completed."
