Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 651: Two Team

Chapter 651: Two Team

Soon after the battlefield was stabilized and the wounded were secured, a meeting was convened at the central hall of the Kingdom of Suryax.

The structure itself bore marks of the recent invasion, but it still stood firm, reinforced hastily by both Suryax mages and Regalon support units.

Inside, the leaders of Suryax gathered along with Rudra, Almond, Lily, Ainen, and the other key members of the Regalons.

The atmosphere was tense, but filled with relief and awe.

The King of Suryax, a tall man clad in radiant golden armor, stepped forward. His gaze lingered on the Regalons for a moment before he spoke.

"You have our gratitude. Without your arrival, this island would have fallen."

Rudra nodded calmly. "We are allies in this event. Survival comes first. Expansion comes next."

Almond stepped forward, his expression composed. "We do not have much time. The other kingdoms will also be stabilizing and making their moves. We need to act immediately."

The King narrowed his eyes slightly and nodded. "Agreed. What do you propose?"

Ainen raised her hand slightly. "We divide responsibilities and move efficiently."

Silvester stepped forward and began outlining the plan.

"First, we build defenses around the kingdom. Not temporary ones, but layered, sustainable systems. Wards, barriers, detection arrays, and reinforcement structures. We will make this island nearly impossible to breach in a short time."

The Suryax generals exchanged looks before nodding.

"That alone will increase our survivability drastically," one of them said.

Lily continued. "Second, your army."

Her gaze swept across the room.

"You have numbers and experience, but they lack optimization. We will restructure formations, assign roles properly, and enhance them with buffs, equipment integration, and coordinated combat tactics."

Ainen smiled faintly. "And I will handle sustained buff support through consumables. Your soldiers will fight at a completely different level."

Murmurs spread across the hall.

The King’s expression turned serious. "If what you say is possible, then our army will become far stronger than before."

"It will," Rudra said simply.

Almond tapped his finger lightly, drawing attention again.

"The third task is the most important."

The room fell silent.

"The ocean."

Everyone’s eyes sharpened.

"The ruins hidden beneath it contain resources, artifacts, and possibly advantages that will decide the outcome of this event. These are limited. Whoever finds them first claims them."

One of the Suryax elders frowned. "Then the other kingdoms will also be sending their best."

"Exactly," Almond replied.

Lily crossed her arms. "Which is why we cannot delay."

Rudra stepped forward. "We will form four elite exploration teams."

He looked at Almond, Lily, and Ainen.

"Each led by one of us."

Ainen nodded. "Four directions, four operations, maximum coverage."

Almond added, "Each team will be equipped for both exploration and combat. If we encounter other kingdoms or threats, we take what we need."

The King of Suryax hesitated for a brief moment before speaking. "And what of coordination?"

Silvester answered, "We will maintain communication through linked systems. Any major discovery or threat will be shared immediately."

Hiroshi spoke calmly from the side. "Speed will determine victory here."

Marcus grinned. "And we are faster."

The room settled into a heavy silence as the weight of the plan sank in.

Finally, the King of Suryax straightened his posture.

"Very well. We will fully cooperate."

He looked at his generals.

"Mobilize all available personnel. Begin defensive construction immediately. Assign the best units to training and restructuring under Regalon command."

He then turned back to Almond and Rudra.

"And we will provide our strongest warriors to support the exploration teams."

Almond nodded once. "Good."

Rudra’s gaze sharpened slightly as he looked toward the distant ocean beyond the walls.

"Also," the Suryax King said, his eyes bearing hope. "We had a prophecy that saviors would come. And when they come, we will awaken our lineage’s true power."

"Your lineage?" Almond blinked.

"Yes. The Suryax Lineage," King Suryax nodded. "For thousands of years, we have been suppressed, unable to bring out our true power."

The generals nodded.

All the people of the Suryax Kingdom present in this meeting were at Tier-50, but they indeed seemed weaker than usual Tier-50 individuals.

Otherwise, they would have won against the invasion of Tier-50 Doom monsters that the Ananta Regalon Kingdom easily repelled.

"Here." The Suryax King took out a medallion. "This is the key to our awakening. All I know is that I have to hand it to you."

Almond stretched his hand and grabbed the medallion as it flew toward him.

He stored it away and asked, "Before we end the meeting and depart, do you have any information about the ocean that we can use?"

"Not much." King Suryax shook his head. "Almost useless. We were too weak to venture deep, since monsters above Tier-50 quickly appear, stopping our advance before we can even catch a glimpse of the ancient ruins."

"Alright. Then I’ll ask this. Does anyone want to explore the ancient ruins now that we are going there?"

The generals looked at each other, their eyes lighting up.

"Yes!"

All ten generals responded simultaneously.

"Alright. I like that spirit. We’ll move right away without wasting time. Let’s go."

...

Defense and Army Development team:

Big D, Ainen, Saffa, Clovelle, Fraisea, and Gopu, along with a million Dreadlings of Lily, to strengthen the Suryax Kingdom.

Exploration team:

Almond, Lily, Rudra, Natalia, Kayla, Silvester, Hiroshi, Marcus, and Maya.

Seven Spirit Lords, nine Dreadling Monarchs, and forty Asura Executives.

Ten generals of the Suryax Kingdom.

The exploration team dived into the ocean, still buffed with Ainen’s food.

Just when they crossed a depth of one kilometer, Tier-50+ monsters began appearing in groups.

An average Tier-50 monster had 50 million combat power.

But one Tier-50 monster had "Elite" next to its name in the status, and it had 104 million combat power.

Almond and the other Regalons did not act during this phase.

The only ones who fought were the forty Asura Executives, seven Spirit Lords, nine Dreadling Monarchs, and the generals.

And yet, even the 104 million combat power monster was jointly defeated by the Asura Executives, Spirit Lords, and Dreadling Monarchs.

After all, the Asura Executives possessed cards bearing powers from X-rank decks belonging to Ainen, Almond, Lily, and several SSS-rank decks belonging to Natalia and others. In fact, their combat power was rising the fastest.

The strongest in this frontline were the Spirit Lords and Dreadling Monarchs, each having over 200+ million combat power, while the weakest were the Suryax Kingdom’s generals, each having 50 to 60 million combat power.

But their true lineage power was suppressed.

Almond looked at the medallion while leisurely following Lily to the depths below as the group proceeded while slaying monsters that attacked them.

But he was trying to scan the medallion with everything he had, and yet it wasn’t working.

It was the first time he couldn’t get any kind of reading on something he wanted to see, though he had a feeling that this would soon become common now that he had risen to the proper third layer and participated in the first event of this Realm of Kings and Puppets.

He used tens of his Grimblade effects, unique fabricated spirits’ effects that he had stored, and layered them over his Generaline’s Eyes of Truth power.

But he got nothing.

’It must be a special item.’ Almond’s eyes glinted.

"Tier-60 and stronger monsters incoming."

"One is pretty big. A Tier-80? It’s giving off dangerous energy."

The Asura Executives who were scouting ahead quickly reported.

"It seems we’ll have to step in for the big one." Marcus grinned, his eyes flickering. "It has 232 million combat power."

"Let’s go," Maya nodded. "The two of us are the weakest, so we’ll give it a try first."
