Chapter 678: The Fixed Constructs, and Heading To The Divine Realm

Chapter 678: The Fixed Constructs, and Heading To The Divine Realm

Rael finally opened his eyes, and he still had his hand on Xavier’s head.

It was funny how there was such a simple solution to such a difficult problem, but even so, Rael went ahead and infused the Law of Chaos directly into Xavier’s head.

A bright flash of red light ensued, but it faded just as quickly.

In the blink of an eye, it was over.

So Rael brought his hand back, and then carefully watched Xavier, observing any reaction.

He was worried, obviously.

But his Prophetic Realm was rarely wrong.

And after a few minutes, Xavier finally moved.

He sighed.

"Rael, I don’t think it worked. I still feel the same as I used to."

"Really?" Rael raised a brow. "Then... go make me a cup of coffee, but only from the beans that grow in the Holy Kingdom."

Xavier just stared at him for a few moments.

But then, his eyes widened.

"I don’t hear it anymore...? Just what is this?"

He tapped his head several times, trying to figure out just what happened.

But since he wasn’t that stupid, he soon realized that what Rael had mentioned a moment ago was actually the truth.

And so, instead of saying any pleasantries or stroking Rael’s already overinflated ego further, Xavier simply bowed to him.

Then, he walked over to his previous post, which was obviously the counter, and he absentmindedly began humming to himself.

It seemed weird to an outsider.

Since the three other constructs were here, they were now even more scared than before.

"S-Sir," Sweepus Prime pleaded. "I have no idea what you did to Xavier, but I don’t think performing a lobotomy on a construct is the best idea."

Before Sweepus Prime could finish his words, Rael infused the Law of Chaos directly into him.

Then came the two cleaning constructs, which couldn’t even utter a peep before Rael put his hands on them.

In an instant, they were changed.

And when they realized the change, their eyes widened as well.

They began humming to themselves, while Sweepus Prime started singing some local Celestaran folklore song.

It was absolute shit.

But it seemed like their behavior was identical.

Every time they gained free will, they started singing.

Rael’s mind spun for a moment.

How badass would a crystal construct idol group be?

Though that idea faded in an instant when he realized just how corny he was being.

Nonetheless, he was sure they were just adjusting to the lack of a voice inside of their heads.

And with that...

"I’ll be taking my leave for a few days, maybe weeks. Not sure. Keep the shop running, and if anyone tries to come inside, sell them some junk and promise them they’ll get a chance of meeting me one day or something."

Sweepus Prime raised a brow.

"Don’t you think scrambling for pennies is a bit pathetic?"

"Did you turn into a rebellious teenager?" Rael asked with a slightly wary look. "If that’s the case, I might have to restore you back to normal."

Sweepus Prime gestured as though he was zipping his mouth, and with that, silence once again descended.

Pennies it may be, money was money.

If it wasn’t going into his pockets, it was going into someone else’s.

So with that, Rael turned to Gaia.

Is it ready yet?

[Hmm... it should be. Relax your mind. I’ll guide you toward the memory.]

Rael did just that, and to his surprise, it felt as if she had taken control of his thoughts.

Though that feeling didn’t last long, as he suddenly saw the place where her body was.

And oh boy... she wasn’t kidding when she said she was close to the Divine Realm.

The entrance to Yggdrasil was a wormhole, and outside of that wormhole was a large city filled with millions of polished quartz buildings.

There were so many people too.

Though their strength was nothing short of ridiculous, as the weakest person Rael could see was a Grade 8.

As for the strongest... Rael didn’t want to pry too much, since he was bound to get noticed.

Still...

It’s going to be a little difficult getting in there.

[That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you,] Gaia replied with a sigh.

Rael nodded.

Can’t I just teleport inside? Or right beside the wormhole? Rael asked. That would definitely save a lot of time and trouble.

[It isn’t that easy. Your Law of Space mastery is nowhere near high enough to teleport near or inside wormholes. But theoretically, even if you could, there are people surrounding that wormhole, and they’ll notice the moment someone enters,] Gaia said.

And of course, she was right.

There were dozens of watchful eyes everywhere.

He kind of wished there was a way, but if there really was, Gaia would have told him by now.

So it seemed like he would need to go in commando style.

And the way he would do so was simple.

Glancing down, Rael spotted the tattoo Tiamat had bestowed upon him.

<Signia of the Ancient Primordial (Supreme)><Description: A mark that carries the absolute authority of an Ancient Primordial, recognized across all beings, universes, and realms.>

The tattoo was a single crimson eye, and it looked a little ominous.

But this tattoo alone gave him a lot of leverage in the Divine Realm.

So that was what he wanted to use.

[That’s a little reckless. Though I guess it wouldn’t be your plan if you did everything safe,] Gaia remarked.

Not a very subtle way to call him an idiot.

But Rael didn’t bite down on the bait.

Instead, he focused his mind on the location she showed him.

There were many locations he felt like he could teleport to.

Perhaps a few thousand kilometers away.

Maybe on a nearby planet?

However, Rael chose something else entirely.

He navigated the center of the Divine Realm, which just so happened to be a giant training yard for the soldiers.

And with a single thought, he teleported over there.
