Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 738 738: Bigger Bonks

Chapter 738 738: Bigger Bonks

Eternal Marionette [Level 100 | MAX] (Unique - Primordial)

—The culmination of strings and stage. With this skill, all beings are bound to your eternal performance.

Marionette Dominion: Instantly seize full control of a target's body, soul, and abilities. Stronger beings can resist, but doing so inflicts True Mental Damage equal to 0.01%~1% of their Max HP per second.

Cost: 1 Trillion DTP | Duration: 300s

This was one of the skills he wanted to try, as he wanted to see how the birds would fare against it.

But of course, he also had this, which was similar to Neural Collapse.

Curtain of Eternity (Ultimate): Sever all strings. Enemies instantly lose 50% of their maximum HP and suffer permanent soul damage (10% if the enemy is at least 1 Grade higher than you). Allies are restored to full health and gain +200% to all stats for 24 hours.

Cost: 50 Trillion DTP | Cooldown: 7 Days

Rael was interested in how much damage this would deal, since the 50% HP loss was after the fact.

So severing the strings... it should be a flat amount of damage.

That damage would then go through an increase of +11,852,900,000% before ultimately being finalized by the 64x damage multiplier.

In total, a nice little +758,585,600,000% or a 7,585,856,000x damage multiplier to his Mind damage.

He could use his Skill Synthesis to make a skill similar to Draconic Neuroweb's Neural Collapse, but since Rael hadn't tested that kind of ability after getting a new body... he decided to just relax for now.

And so, for starters, Rael focused on the nearest bird beside him and eventually cast Marionette Dominion.

[DTP -1 Trillion | 2.999 Quadrillion / 3.000 Quadrillion [+2.999 Quadrillion Excess] (x1 Marionette Dominion)]

It was funny how he had so much mana, it barely even phased his total at all, since he could just rewind it afterward.

Nonetheless, the moment Rael cast that skill, he ignored the whole process of entering the monster's Mind Realm as he simply took control of the monster.

It was a little bit uncomfortable to move around with such a big body, but since he kind of liked how sharp the beak was, Rael decided to have some fun and kicked off the ground, then reappeared in front of the other Bird of Death he had knocked away earlier.

The other bird didn't even try to react to him.

And so, Rael playfully brought his beak down, piercing through the body of the other bird and pulling out an innard.

"SCREEEEEEEEE!"

The Bird of Death immediately reacted and sent Rael's bird body flying back with so much force, Rael felt like his ribs had shattered.

Though, it seemed like the bird wasn't that good at regenerating, since even after a second had passed, its regeneration process didn't begin.

Still... Rael went back at it and dueled the other bird with his beak, realizing that beak combat wasn't too shabby.

He could only imagine how fun pelican combat would be.

Should he buy a pelican bloodline?

[I... Is this always how your brain works while you're in battle?] Nyx's exhausted voice rang out. [Instead of focusing on the dangerous enemy, you're thinking of becoming a pelican and dueling other pelicans...?]

Ah... Yeah, ignore that. I probably won't buy the pelican bloodline, Rael replied innocently.

[Probably?]

[Assure me you won't buy the pelican bloodline.]

Rael pouted and then nodded, reluctantly agreeing and continuing his battle until, finally, the other Bird of Death beat the shit out of him, and the skill's duration ran out, bringing him back to his body.

He noticed that the birds were still fighting up ahead, but after just a few short moments, they stopped and glared at Rael.

And then, without a single moment of hesitation, they dashed ahead.

But Rael didn't mind it in the slightest as he snapped his fingers, causing the birds to slow down considerably.

Then, Rael used the second skill he had been meaning to use.

[DTP -50 Trillion | 2.950 Quadrillion / 3.000 Quadrillion [+2.950 Quadrillion Excess] (x1 Curtain of Eternity)]

To his surprise, a massive curtain descended from the sky and wrapped around the entire battlefield.

Rael was in the center of it all, and so were the two Birds of Death.

Both of them had red marks over their heads that resembled skulls.

Strangely enough, Rael felt completely in control of this whole curtain domain, and honestly... it really reminded him of his Mind Realm and his Mind Domain.

Except it seemed like this Curtain Domain only served two purposes.

Control the enemy.

Kill the enemy.

Like the good chap that Rael was, he decided to put the two birds out of their misery and went with the latter.

Focusing his killing intent on the two skulls, he abruptly noticed the skulls shatter, causing loud cracks to resound as the bodies of the two birds suddenly fell limp.

Rael was confused by what had just happened, but once he glanced to the side, he soon got his answer.

Huh...

Not even Law Mastery?

...That's it?

[You think that's little?] Nyx asked, flabbergasted. [That amount of experience you just got in one fell swoop may take others several years to gather.]

Can't they just kill one of these big boys and... well, you know? Get that much? Rael pointed out.

She let out a sigh.

[Sure, except others don't get the same amount of experience as you. You get a flat amount because of some special circumstances. Others barely get 1/100th of this amount,] Nyx replied patiently.

Rael hummed.

He kind of expected to get more than 10 trillion experience from killing such powerful beings.

But then again, they were just regular mobs with classes.

They weren't elites.

They weren't boss monsters either.

So on the flip side, Rael was sure he would get more soon enough.

And so, with that in mind, Rael turned around and decided to search for some more monsters—

But not before hopping into the Prophetic Realm and quickly increasing his odds of getting a Greed Fragment drop.

After all...

<Greed Fragments: 2>

1 Fragment: 1% Chance to convert a dropped or crafted item into the [Gold] sub-rarity.

5 Fragments: ???

10 Fragments: ???

25 Fragments: ???

<Expand [+Infinity]>

There was an infinite amount of buffs he could get.

Oh, he might as well increase the odds of the first fragment's buff too.

Once Rael was finished, he cracked his neck and kicked off the ground, finally searching for some powerful monsters or gods in this dungeon.

A/N: My program broke when it came to calculating the damage, so there's a small chance some digits are off. Though, just refer to the Vitality Tier if anything since that's always correct :D
