Chapter 983: Hotspring [ 1 ]
Chapter 983: Hotspring [ 1 ]
"Sheesh... I mean, fuck them for being racist toward me, but damn, these hot springs look sick," Rael said, glancing around like a little baby.
There was a large passage into a giant tree, and from the looks of things, it split off into a women’s section, a men’s section, and a mixed section. Rael’s eyes were set on the mixed section, and so were Gaia’s.
But of course, he was a little bit possessive, in a way that he didn’t want anyone else to see her. So with a single thought, Rael went ahead and teleported every single one of the elves inside the mixed bath elsewhere.
And now, with the mixed bath being completely empty, Rael formed a thin barrier at the entrance, making sure no one else could enter. Obviously, Gaia saw all of this from the side and looked in disbelief.
She knew that he was a perverted, lustful idiot, but seriously... Teleporting random elves into the middle of town while they were naked? Wasn’t that a bit cruel?
A cruel man he may be, at least he was honest with himself. Once Rael set everything up, he glanced back at Gaia, and with a toothy grin, said:
"This way, my lady."
"Right..." Gaia rolled her eyes and stepped into the mixed bath section alongside him. Even the dressing room was the same, but in spite of him being a pervert, he also respected boundaries.
So instead of sitting down beside her and waiting for her to undress, Rael went ahead and chose an area where they couldn’t see each other. Then, he got undressed, put on a towel, and in the end, made sure everything else was in order and no distractions were going to happen.
After all, the last thing he wanted in his life, especially at this point in time, was a cockblock. If he was cockblocked or blue-balled by some alien invasion, he would most likely cuss out every being responsible, plus their ancestors, and their ancestors’ ancestors.
Anyway, the point was, Rael was ready to enter the hot spring, so while Gaia was still getting undressed, he walked toward the hot spring, and upon realizing just how big it was, as well as beautiful, Rael couldn’t help but stare in awe.
There were miniature lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and several dozen holes around the giant inside of the tree, most likely for air and oxygen, making sure the people could breathe, and also didn’t get boiled alive.
Not to mention, there was this smell in the air, a perfume, rather. It was strawberries... coincidentally. By the time Rael was done admiring the surroundings, Gaia had already arrived. He wasn’t brave enough to glance back at her or use his mana to check her out, so instead, he waited for her to nonchalantly pass him.
Once she did, she went ahead and sat down in the hot spring, and after taking off her towel, she exhaled a relieved breath.
"This is definitely much more relaxing than I remember," she bemused.
"Oh? You’ve been to a hot spring before?" Rael mused, finally mustering up the courage to go ahead and enter the hot spring too, sitting down not too far away from her.
The fog was thick, and with him not using his Primordial Sight, or any form of mana, he couldn’t see through the fog that was created. So even though he could see the outline of her perky breasts, as well as her thick thighs, he couldn’t actually see them for real.
But oh well. Everything came with time.
Rael slumped a bit deeper, relaxing more of his body as he leaned back, enjoying it too as he listened to her slightly delayed response.
"Mm... I went there once with a friend of mine. She was shy, so I kind of did what you did, and we entered the women’s hot springs."
Ah, she blocked it off so no one could see them. Heh.
"Do I ask where that friend is now?" Rael said bluntly, fully expecting her to just tell him that she was dead.
However...
"Not sure. I lost contact with her ages ago. I respect her privacy too, so I never really looked for her. I doubt she’s still alive though. At the time we met, we were still considered mortals, both under a millennium old," Gaia replied.
"Oh? So if I were to disrespect your prior agreement and search for her, would you mind?"
At Rael’s words, she just went ahead and sighed, then pushed a bit of water toward him, forming a small wave that washed over him, soaking his face and letting his hair droop down. In the span of a month that he spent in that omniscient form, his body still continued to grow. So did his hair.
So even though he got a haircut not too long ago, it was now considered slightly long, at least long enough to reach his shoulders. Though, when he realized how he was just lying there, trying to look like a hot model... he actually looked like some sort of buffoon, an idiot, rather.
And when he glanced back at Gaia, through the faint fog, he could see her expression. Her emerald eyes dazzled, the sparkle in her eyes something he had yet to genuinely see. As for her hair, despite not seeing her dip underwater, it was fully wet.
Then, that smile... It was a beautiful smile, a genuine smile. He had seen plenty of those from Gaia. However, none of them even came close to what he was currently seeing now.
Corny? Sure. That didn’t mean he was planning to sugarcoat how beautiful she was.
For a moment, he got lost in that smile, and he only snapped out of it when Gaia pushed yet another small wave toward him, forcing him to swallow a mouthful of strawberry-tasting water and accidentally spit it out of his nose.
"Pfft..." Gaia held back a laugh as she slightly covered her breasts, noticing the fog parting and Rael coming back to his senses and looking over her body lavishly.
She didn’t know what it was... But she kind of liked that feeling.
