Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2519: Residents

Chapter 2519: Residents

The water pillar moved like a snake.

Even though it didn’t have eyes, bloody chariot felt a gaze on him as the tip of the pillar faced him. It seemed to have hesitated, almost teasing him... as if it could come at any time, but is refusing to do so, just to toy with him.

Bloody Chariot after so long, felt like praying. If not for the fact that he knew the gods won’t do shit, he might have actually prayed.

After what felt like an eternity, the water pillar went back into the sea.

Bloody Chariot only heard the sound of the waves and the breeze at the moment.

His panting slowed down and within a few seconds, he fell unconscious.

A man who was feared more than death itself, back in the academy realm, was now lying helpless on the sands of an unknown beach.

Even Bloody Chariot, with all his humility that he pretends to show, would have laughed at the notion of this.

But here he was...

Hours passed. Sun went down.

Bloody Chariot opened his eyes groggily to a view of clear night sky with bright stars. He took a deep breath of the salty sea air. The waves gently touched his feet and for some reason he felt a sense of peace.

The moment was brief though. He woke up, immediately. The peace was gone and he looked at the surroundings. The beach was empty as far as he could see.

He tried to extend his divine vision to check farther... but it didn’t work.

"Argh..."

He groaned in pain. His head ached like never before. As if someone took a chisel and chipped a part of his brain away.

"Fucking hell..."

He cursed and stood up.

His body felt sore. His legs felt like they were injected with lead. He never knew he was this heavy.

He tried to access his divine energy from his core. It worked. But it hurt like hell. As if burning mercury is coursing through his veins.

"Should have expected this..."

He sighed in resignation.

He used an energy that he still had yet to gain the command of. It resided in his body for sure, but it wasn’t his yet. Not completely.

And he dared to use it. But his body couldn’t take it.

This is the backlash. His divine senses are friend. His core cracked a little bit. His energy networks are burned out. His body is leaking divine energy like a sieve.

It could take days, weeks, or even months to recover from this.

He sighed again.

All of this... just because of a moment of impulse to chase a few brats...

All of this because of one kid who was butt hurt over something some gods did. All of this is because of a conflict that was never his.

"I should have stayed in isolation. I shouldn’t have come out at all. Now I am getting screwed."

He took a few steps forward to walk deeper.

The beach is vast. And he could see a massive forest just a few meters away.

For some reason, he didn’t feel safe with open sea right behind him. Whatever controlled that water pillar... he didn’t want to deal with it at the moment.

He walked slowly.

He tried to control his movement as much as he could to limit the pain.

When he was just a couple of feet away from the woods...

"Told you, he would make it in ten minutes. You lost the bet."

He heard someone speak.

Bloody Chariot stood straight. A spear appeared in his hands. He looked around vigilantly, and in that dim light of the night, he found someone movement in the vegetation.

Two young looking men walked out. Both of them looking around six and a half feet tall. Muscular with brown complexion. Their upper bodies are almost bare. They did wear some sleeveless, open jacket that was made of scaly hide of some beast.

But their arms and abs are clear for everyone to see. For now, just the bloody Chariot.

Their bottoms of covered with more leather garmets and some more leather for shoes. They had some necklaces which seemed to have been made from teeth of some kind of creature.

Both of them had short hair. Slick and tightly cut.

They had wide grins to accommodate that sharp look.

The guy on the left, had a small scar on the left side of his forehead. He looked at Bloody Chariot and said.

"That guy actually escaped the Spirit of the Sea. I am surprised he survived that. How can I even expect him to reach this spot in ten minutes?"

"I can see it in his face. This guy is not a quitter. He is extremely strong-willed.

Otherwise, how could he move around with such a broken body?"

Bloody Chariot looked at the two of them talking so casually.

He wanted to scan their cultivation, but his Divine sense isn’t cooperating. So, with whatever senses that he could muster up, he tried to sense the behavior of energy waves around him.

And that gave him an estimation that these guys are at the late stage of Divine Plane Consummation.

Two people of such high cultivation.

Bloody Chariot really felt like he was cursed or something.

"Hello, may I know who you are? And Where I am? I am not from around here..." Bloody Chariot asked.

"Of course, you are not. You must be from outside Darkhan."

Bloody Chariot’s face changed. He became much more serious. His grip tightened against the spear.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I mean exactly what I say. You are not from our planet. You are an outsider. An alien of sorts. But from the looks of it, you are also human."

Bloody Chariot stayed silent He couldn’t think of a proper response for it.

He didn’t expect that someone here would have the knowledge of the outside world.

It is not normal for the isolated worlds.
