Sam went back to the base and made some final arrangements.
After which, it was time to wait for midnight, while he worked on his next best thing. There are two projects in mind, but more than them, there was another important matter that he had to handle.
The corpse of the apex.
That is the greatest treasure he acquired since he came to this world.
He put it in the divine dimension. He didn’t even let it on the ground. He made it float around. He collected every drop of blood, but that was all he could do. Unless he used some extremely high level equipment he didn’t have the means to cut this corpse by himself.
He has to get the help from the managers and even they would have a hard time.
However, before that, he needed to examine the corpse.
Honestly, the apex wasn’t able to put up much of a fight with the shadow apex.
It didn’t get to show all of its abilities properly, because its pea brain couldn’t comprehend the true nature of the shadow apex, while the shadow apex for some reason had the sentience and intelligence to brutally cheat it.
However, that quick death did leave most of the corpse intact and Sam now got to study it properly.
One of the most important thing within the corpse that he wanted to research was.., the energy scales.
The way the land crocs created these energy beam attacks was very unique and they seemed to have developed such unique attack with their physical evolution.
He wanted to study it and see how it could create that attack.
He also recorded the way the attack was made and simulated it again and again in the divine dimension’s second floor to figure out, how exactly its nature was.
If it’s nature was any different from the usual energy beam attacks and energy beam weapons that he had made until now.
And the initial results showed that it truly is.
One of reasons for that is... Sam created energy beams in a similar way how a laser beam is usually made.
He compressed, amplified and directed it. But now, the energy beams or rather energy blasts of these creatures was a lot of more different and he sensed some potential in there.
He started analyzing everything, keeping the body intact.

Meanwhile, on a completely different spot on the planet. Near a neutral location, an area where everyone designated as neutral territory. Forty eight people gathered.
Among those forty eight people, Yudhi, Parth and Bhim were also present.
They gathered at a large round table that accommodated all of them. Various people, wearing different outfits befitting and representing their culture
Parth took the lead and spoke up first.
"As all of you know, there was a disturbance in the southern seas. In one of the islands led by a peak stage Land crocodile, a new team arrived.
They summoned a shadow creature of the same level and killed that peak stage creature. The said team conquered that territory and now became the ruler of that place.
I witnessed the whole thing and I am here to report that the current disturbance has been mitigated. The shadow has returned from where it came from and is no longer a threat for the time being.
But of course, that is not enough of an explanation to close this meeting outright. You all must have a lot of questions about who this team is and where they came from.
I have some answers for that.
I am sure everyone remembers the time when we felt the presence of a peak stage entity in the south western sea before.
Our village handled it.
You also received the reports that this person was of unknown origin and completely contained. While that was true, in the past few days we got some information from him about where he came from.
So, apparently, some gods outside the world, labeled our planet as something to conquer. And there is an entire realm of people who has access to a portal that grants entry to us.
They are here to conquer the territory on our planet. We don’t know the exact goal, process and result of the conquest, but this realm is pretty strong. It is divided into numerous factions and if all of it was combined, then their power is definitely higher than just the humans on our planet.
Anyway, the person that we rescued in the south west, is a peak stage guy, but he is pretty weak. My brother Naka was able to handle him pretty easily.
On the other hand, the team in the southern sea is more interesting. I didn’t talk with them extensively.
But the guy who seemed to be the leader of that team is only at Divine Plane Initiation. He had around eight middle stage consummate cultivators under his command.
We don’t know what method he actually used to summon the shadow. However, he had a mssive formation with overwhelming shadow energy.
My basic understanding of it says that even for me, it could be extremely dangerous. I didn’t want to take a step recklessly inside.
For the next three days, you guys can go and inspect it from afar. I gave him my word that he wouldn’t be disturbed or killed. So, please be mindful of that."
Parth spoke decisively and just gave his opinions outright.
None of the people at the table overreacted about the conquest and didn’t take any offense at all.
Instead, there was even a sense of excitement.
"I would like to meet and talk to that guy before we make a decision." A man wearing a golden armor, sitting directly opposite to Parth spoke.
Parth thought for a moment and said.
"We can try to communicate with him and see what he thinks. But you should understand, he is relatively weaker than us. So, it would be hard for him to trust us completely."
"You did say, you gave him his word"
"I did. But how would a newcomer on this planet know the worth of it? Anyway, we need to be more careful with the way we communicate with him. That’s all I want to say for now."
