Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2576: The veiled woman

Chapter 2576: The veiled woman

"I don’t understand men... a slightest disturbance and you give yourself up to intoxication. Knowing full well that it’s just a feeble attempt at an escape. At least, if you want to feel lost, you should try something stronger."

A melodious voice interrupted Bloody Chariot’s peace.

He looked at the woman with a deep frown on his face and the moment he did take a look, that frown is gone.

He went into a trance.

A woman approached him... she was wearing long while flowing robes, with a while silk veil covering her face. Her black muslin hair was let loose as it twirled slightly because of the wind. And even as she approached, he felt the faint smell of jasmine invade his mind.

It cleared the turmoil and suddenly gave him a sense of peace and calm that felt otherworldly.

Bloody Chariot shook his head and a deep sense of dread enveloped his heart.

He was lost... he was lost in a daze because of beauty...

And he couldn’t even see much of that woman. She is wearing the most modest clothing. Except for her eyes, and a bit of her forehead, he couldn’t even see her face clearly. Yet, he was lost.

He sensed her cultivation which is only at peak of Initiation... this made him feel disappointed and disgusted with himself.

"Who are you?"

Bloody Chariot asked.

"I am the only person that could help you deal with Sam."

The lost frown returned to Bloody Chariot’s head.

"I know you have been trying to handle Sam for a long time. Now, you are cooking up quite a big plan with the other Deans.

From what I know, you are trying to use the friction between the Hastin village and other factions to create chaos in Darkhan and then handle Sam during that chaos. Isn’t that right?"

Bloody Chariot almost let his aura slip. His killing intent rose...

"How do you know all this?" He asked in a cold tone.

"I know more than this. A lot more than you can imagine.

And one of them is that your plan won’t succeed, no matter how meticulously you prepared, because you failed to consider one key factor. The same factor that every enemy of Sam happened to ignore since his arrival in this world."

Bloody Chariot did get curious, but he focused on his own question.

"That doesn’t answer my question."

The veiled woman chuckled... it sounded like the rhythm tinkle of golden anklets. She replied in the same teasing tone.

"Please take a guess... I know Sam’s true origins, I know what you are trying to do and why you are trying to do it. I can access the information from the Darkhan directly... at least I was capable of it before coming here.

And I appeared in this academy realm out of thin air, on top of not having any life at all before this.

Can you guess who is powerful enough to make it happen?"

Bloody Chariot’s heart finally calmed down. He took a deep breath and asked.

"Why would they send you here? What is your purpose?"

"It’s simple. To help you defeat Sam. And trust me, no one would do a better job at it that I would. Now... how about we continue talking about Sam and why your plan is going to fail spectacularly?"

"Okay, why?"

"You never considered Sam’s mind as a factor.

That’s his biggest asset. Until now, wherever he went, he was able to use the information to its maximum potential, only because the way he thinks is extremely different from the norm.

To deal with him, you have to assume that no matter what kind of situation you put him through, he would be able to cook up a contingency.

Unless you tackle the problem with that mindset, you are bound to lose."

Bloody Chariot didn’t say anything, but in his mind, whatever that woman said, did make a lot of sense.

"Are you stunned into silence by my beauty?" She interrupted his thoughts.

"How do you plan to destroy that mindset? I don’t know him really well, but from what little that I do know... it’s not easy to tackle a man who is as prepared and brutal as he is.

I doubt he has any weaknesses."

"But he does.

So, let me help you plan this out. You will be able to destroy Sam in no time. But you need to follow everything I say and do things as I tell you to do."

"Why should I trust you?"

"Well, I guess that doubt is a given considering how much you hate the people who sent me. But, you should know that they have more reasons to deal with Sam than you do. I have more reasons why Sam must die than you do.

So, its better to trust me than not."

Bloody Chariot sighed. He finished his drink in one chug and observed the surroundings. By now, everyone in the surroundings, basically the whole block, men and women included were ogling the veiled woman openly.

Bloody Chariot knew that she is not being seductive, in either the body language or clothing. But for some reason, they all had a weird attraction towards her.

Even if he felt lost for a second, he could only imagine what it is like for the rest.

"Seems like if you stay here any longer, you would cause a calamity."

"You don’t know how right you are."

Bloody Chariot and the woman walked away.

At the same time, back in the Darkhan.

Sam was busy in the Hastin village, they were in the middle of assembling the first engine, when he got the notification through the wrist screen.

"Your next mission is here.

Survive the Seven Calamities.

The first calamity has arrived in the academy realm and already started targeting you.

Your next calamity will come after the you dealt with the first.

The last one to finish the seven calamities will die and be out of the game."
