Rebirth: I became rich by farming

Chapter 690 Journey Ends (2/2)

Chapter 690: Chapter 690 Journey Ends (2/2)

Zhenzhen didn’t dare to think about it; she wasn’t clear on the value of seafood, but the idea that the bigger it is, the more expensive it gets generally can’t be wrong.

So, obviously the seafood caught today was not of a size that could be harvested. Zhenzhen quickly put down the salvage net she was holding, then left the space. When she came out, Mei Mengzhen had also awoken. After a brief tidy up, Fan Tianyu also knocked on her door, "Zhenzhen, are you ready? May I come in? We need to get going."

"I’m ready, Brother Tianyu, come on in."

Fan Tianyu entered with his fingerprint along with Qi Yongwang, and Zhenzhen put down her phone to serve them breakfast, which was milk and bread from Xiyuan. After a quick breakfast, the group of four finally headed out the door.

Not seeing Tianhua, Zhenzhen felt puzzled, "Where is Sister Tianhua? Why isn’t she coming with us? She said she wanted to pick up clothes yesterday."

"Your Sister Tianhua has to work. Yesterday was Sunday, today is Monday. Doesn’t she need to go to her job? She must be planning to pick up the clothes in the evening," Fan Tianyu explained dismissively.

Zhenzhen came to her senses, "Right, I was too caught up in the fun. I totally forgot."

After that, Zhenzhen mentioned the seafood matter to Fan Tianyu, "They said they have the seafood, but like the previous products, the quantity is uncertain, as well as the delivery time. They asked if we wanted it, and I said yes. Whatever, as long as they have it, it’s always good to add new dishes to Xiyuan’s menu."

Fan Tianyu was momentarily stunned upon hearing this, then asked curiously, "Doesn’t Xiyuan have shrimp?"

"That’s just prawns. I’m talking about seafood like big lobsters, king crabs, abalones, sea cucumbers, squids, and the like. Of course, I know we have prawns, and there’s no need to order more of them since they’re now not limited in quantity."

Fan Tianyu had an epiphany, "I was wondering, now even those items are available? Xiyuan is really becoming more upscale. Since they’re available, let’s go for it. We just need to figure out a pattern and make some limited dishes."

"Yeah, yeah, that’s what I was thinking too."

After chatting briefly, the group arrived at Xiyuan and met with He Yiran and his party, then they set off for the warehouse.

For the entire morning, Zhenzhen and her brother were mostly sitting in the car, and even Yan Keke was no exception today, driving her own little van along.

Looking at everyone’s big trucks and then at her own little van, Zhenzhen suddenly felt sorry for Keke, "Keke, are you sure a van is going to be enough?"

"Obviously a hundred boxes wouldn’t be enough, but if I fill the van, that should be fine for now."

Zhenzhen instructed everyone to park their vehicles at the warehouse first, "These goods can be stored, so let’s put them inside. The stuff from the small warehouse outside may need ice."

Everyone heeded the instruction and parked the trucks at the front entrance. They were all excited upon seeing a large warehouse full of goods.

Fu Rui commented, "Zhenzhen, this warehouse is too big, but the key thing is that it’s actually filled up."

"Exactly, that’s the key."

Zhenzhen walked into the warehouse and glanced around, then instructed the workers, "On the left are mooncakes, on the right are snacks and drinks and the like. How many boxes of mooncakes do you want?"

No matter how exquisite a mooncake packaging box is, there are only so many mooncakes in a box, so the size of a mooncake box is set. No matter how you pack it, it doesn’t take up much space. Fu Hao was bold, "Let’s take a thousand boxes of each size."

With a total of six thousand boxes, Fu Hao directly requested half of them. Even Jin Zhan and He Yiran were stunned, "Can you even eat all that?"

Asking such a question clearly seemed foolish, as nobody could eat that many mooncakes by themselves. But as gifts? "Can you even give all those away?"

"Of course I can." But he still checked the production date; with 6 months of shelf life, he felt relieved knowing they could last until after the New Year.

Still, He Yiran felt there was a catch. His family, large as it might be, didn’t need to buy three thousand mooncakes, "Hao, you’re not thinking of becoming a mooncake dealer, right? That won’t do, Xiyuan doesn’t allow any dealers."

Fu Hao was speechless, "Do I need to? I plan on using them as rewards for the company’s executives."

With so many companies, if he included the executives, it wasn’t a bad idea. Moreover, eating quality products from Xiyuan was a form of advertising.

With that, He Yiran naturally had no objections. But with Fu Hao taking three thousand, the remaining three thousand would have to be split between her and Jin Zhan.

He Yiran herself didn’t need so many, "I’ll just take 500 in total."

Jin Zhan said, "I don’t want that many either."

Zhenzhen found it amusing, "I’m not here to divide them up for you. If you don’t want the rest, I’ll just start shipping them out online."

Jin Zhan thought about it and realized, "I’m used to picking up stock from you guys. My first thought was to take it all. Alright, I’ll take a thousand in total."

The three wrapped up their deal, and the workers began moving mooncakes. Meanwhile, Yan Keke had no one to help her; she had come alone and had to move the stock by herself. Qi Yongwang, acting as her part-time staff, immediately stepped forward to lend a hand, "Let me help."

After a satisfied smile, Yan Keke said, "I really can’t take as much as you guys. Two hundred is plenty for me."

Yan Keke wanted the large boxes of mooncakes, and after loading 200 boxes into the car, there wasn’t much room left. Having added a few snacks, the van finally could take no more, and Yan Keke’s visit to the place came to an end.

Once the goods from the big warehouse were divided, the group moved on to the small warehouse. Fresh produce, pastries, meat, and such were plenty, and after filling the trucks to the brim, their shopping trip finally concluded.

As the delivery trucks just left, Fu Rui and the others’ trip to Jiangcheng also officially came to a close.

Saying goodbye to Jiangcheng, Fu Rui was reluctant, "Who knows when I’ll come over next time."

Zhenzhen said, "Isn’t there a holiday on the eleventh? That’s just one month away. I’m sure these snacks will last you all a month."

With her rate of snacking, she could truly last a year, so Zhenzhen didn’t really believe they could finish everything in a month.

Though it was true, Fu Rui sighed, "Well, let’s meet next time. After all, it’s only a few hours by plane."

Zhenzhen nodded, "Right, just a few hours. Okay, let’s go."

Zhenzhen handed He Yiran the five bottles of headache ointment and sent off He Yiran along with the rest.

Today’s tasks were finally accomplished. After taking care of their goods, Zhenzhen still had to restock her own warehouse; for now, their stock was sufficient.

With so much stock taken out, a large void appeared in the space, and Zhenzhen began her life of planting and replenishing vegetables.
