Sister-in-law Zhuang saw Huo Jiayuan coming out and smiled, "Your brother asked me to tell you to help him deliver the trench coat with the liner. He’s going to the countryside with the technology department."
Lu Licheng heard this clearly from the courtyard, and understood Huo Jingrui’s intentions even better.
Huo Jiayuan was momentarily dazed at Sister-in-law Zhuang’s words, thinking this was the first time her brother had asked her to deliver something: "Got it, Sister-in-law Zhuang, thanks for making the trip."

Huo Jiayuan smiled at these words: "Fourth Brother, it’s Fourth Sister-in-law who wants to eat dumplings, isn’t it? Don’t deny it; I heard her tell you yesterday."
Exposed by his sister, Huo Jingrui wasn’t embarrassed: "I wanted dumplings too, it’s just a coincidence."
Seeing her Fourth Brother trying to be tough, Huo Jiayuan didn’t bother to argue: "Okay, I got it. I still have some meat coupons from Fourth Sister-in-law, so we’ll have meat dumplings tonight."
Thinking of something, she added: "Actually, let’s make two kinds. I’ll prepare some vegetarian stuffing too."
Last time, Grandma Su made some vegetarian stuffing which Fourth Sister-in-law really liked, and she thought that in a few days, she might have to return to Beijing with her parents, and would miss Fourth Sister-in-law.

Originally, Huo Jiayuan planned to go to the market, but Lu Licheng disagreed and took her directly to the Department Store. He initially intended to buy her a watch, but seeing she was already wearing one, he changed his mind: "Jiayuan, it’s getting colder day by day. You probably didn’t bring enough warm clothes when you came here, right? Before your Fourth Brother and Fourth Sister-in-law’s wedding banquet, let me take you to pick out a set of clothes."
Huo Jiayuan quickly declined: "No need. My mom sent me clothes recently, and after my Fourth Brother’s wedding, I’ll likely be heading back to Beijing with my parents."
Lu Licheng took her straight to the ready-to-wear section: "No worries, just a few clothes won’t take up much space. Even if Uncle Huo doesn’t drive, there will be people to help you with the train, so it won’t be a burden."
He didn’t give Huo Jiayuan a chance to refuse, and after walking around the clothing counter, pointed to a white sweater and a light brown wool coat: "Could you please take down those two pieces for a look?"
In truth, Huo Jiayuan didn’t really need more clothes. When Brother Kairong came to pick up Sister Kailan, her mom had already sent winter clothes over, not to mention her Fourth Brother had recently bought clothes for Fourth Sister-in-law and included a set for her.
