But as Lia already knew that the particle beam would backfire, she moved away from her original spot and easily dodged the damage that was about to happen in the future!

Lia thrust her sword upwards towards the demon’s head like a boxer’s uppercut, and her sword pierced right through the muscle under the demon’s jaw, and her sword punctured right through everything and hit the brain as it thrust upwards!

The demon left eyeball was shattered, many of its nerves were damaged, and a hole was created in the brain, causing severe brain damage!

Despite all that, the demon still didn’t die!

His body started flailing from sheer pain, and miasma started taking control over him as his vitality fell down!

The demon grabbed the sword in panic and tried to pull it out and even forgot that the entirety of the sword was covered in spirit magic, which started purifying and melting his hand away at mere touch!

Lia noticed that the demon was about to throw a punch at her in close range, and retracting her sword wouldn’t give her enough time to dodge, so she let go of her sword, kicked the demon in the stomach, and distanced herself!

"AHHH!!! AHHH!!!"

The lingering spirit magic in the sword still kept burning and purifying the demon’s brain and head as it remained lodged in his head like an iron rod that refused to be removed!

The internal damage and pain made the demon completely insane!

After dodging the punch, Lia cracked her knuckles and smirked before saying,

"It’s been a while since I fought without a sword... but oh well... catch these hands, demon!"

After dodging the punch, Lia used her wings to move to accelerate herself and punched the demon in the face.
