While Lia and Kai were busy chatting on their own, Nova snapped out of her daze, and only then did she notice the poor little girl Bela, who was trembling in fear and trying to hide herself under the bench.

The little girl Bela refused to come out of her hiding spot despite being convinced several times.

Seeing the situation, Lia walked over and sat down on the ground not too far from the bench, placed Kai on the ground, and pushed him towards the little girl.

The moment Bela heard that Nova wanted to send her back to the human empire, she immediately trembled and denied vigorously.

"The main reason I haven’t sent her back is also because she seems to not like the idea of going back... perhaps those humans did something to her parents..."
