Chapter 635: Endless Greed, Endless Cruelty. Part-3.

The cameraman didn’t stop there; he then walked to another window and showed an even more horrifying scene.

"As you can see, this here is a prototype of a fully functional ’Benevolent Fairy Powder’ farm. Here we have about a thousand fairies that we captured from the fairyland and smuggled to our lab..."

"All these meat pastes are now being dried and grind into fine powder through various machines and filtration procedures..."

Inside the sealed chamber visible from the glass window, there were hundreds of dried and flattened bodies of fairies that were resting on conveyor belts and were slowly being fed into a machine that would grind them into fine dust.

Then that fine extract was being packed into small flasks and sealed like a product.

Just looking at this scene was enough to shatter a sane person’s heart to pieces, but the cameraman was clearly not affected by this scene in the slightest, as if he was used to it.

"Fairies are a kind and benevolent race; they heal any and every creature they come across and using this trait of their, we have formulated plans to send injured creatures into the fairyland..."

"Then we can have them sneak into their deeper areas and find the location of their hidden cities... through them we can find out the legendary artifact ’Fountain of Elemental Life.’ ..."

"If we can get our hands on this legendary artifact, we can continuously produce new fairies and then use them to extract the benevolent fairy powder out of them continuously!"

The cameramen excitedly spoke.

"If we somehow make this true, we will have an infinite supply of extremely powerful healing potions that will become a powerful weapon for our soldiers and all of the people in need in our nation..."

"This is such a huge business that it can create a massive boost in our medicine and pharmaceutical industry that it will make every other medicine completely irrelevant!"

"Perhaps a more concentrated extract can even be used to increase lifespan, and it’s likely possible that awakeners can even use this thing for rapid growth!"

The Benevolent Fairy Powder was being treated like an era-changing technology, and it relied solely on killing and torturing innocent, kind fairies that had never harmed anyone at all.

"By the way, the name ’Benevolent Fairy Powder’ was chosen because these Fairies are too stupid and too kind and benevolent to everyone and are very easy to deceive..."

"It’s actually a name my teacher came up with as a joke at how ironic the fairy’s situation is. I personally like to called it ’BFP’ for short, as this short form hides the things used behind the scenes..."

"We can market this product as ’BFP’ and tell everyone that it’s actually a scientific breakthrough in technology, not an extract of real fairies... and obviously people are idiot enough to believe it..."

"There will be enough customers to buy it, and after they get addicted to it, we won’t even need to hide our dark secrets anymore..."

By the time the recording ended, only silence remained in the entire greenhouse room.

Lia could not find words to speak; she was too shocked, and it took her a while to even comprehend everything said in that clip.

Nova put away the recorder and spoke.

"This is a recording I seized from a human who was pretending to be injured and trying to ask help..."

"I happened to meet him near kenorland’s outskirts... his voice matched this recording perfectly..."

Nova pointed to her own eyes and spoke.

"I have not been alive for so many decades for nothing, of course. I have already developed the bloodline magic of the fairy race. I can use my skills and my eyes to see a part of a person’s soul fluctuations..."

"A person can lie as much as they want but their soul can never lie and evil people’s souls create soul fluctuations that easily give away their evil nature..."

"That evil human who tried to deceive me... I restrained him with my magic after noticing his evil nature and after examining his belongings, I found this..."

"Later he confessed that he was a lead researcher in a lab after I starved him for days..."

Nova looked straight in Lia’s eyes and spoke in a solemn tone that seemed like it was piercing right through Lia’s heart.

"He even acknowledged that he was the person who recorded this recording and he came to Fairyland by himself on purpose so he could deceive fairies and make fun of them later..."

"He took pleasure in making a fool out of us... that’s why, that human became the first one I have ever killed in my life..."

After speaking those words, Nova looked at Lyria and Miria, who were shivering in fear and horror, and spoke,

"You two are young and don’t know how to deal with situations like these; that’s why I didn’t tell you about this until now..."

"But today, you actually brought a human inside Kenorland without a single thought in your head; that was a big mistake..."

"Thankfully it’s someone trusted by the divine general himself so we don’t have to worry..."

After saying that, Nova went silent for second, looked at the stunned expression of Lia, shook her head and spoke,

"This is the reality of your race; this is the reason why they are invading us... even demons are better than humans! At least they kill us directly and don’t torture us like humans..."

"Humans, on the other hand, are literal monsters who are eating our corpses! And they are even scheming to seize our ’mother,’ our ’fountain of elemental life,’ just so they can capture our children!"

"I can’t fathom just how endless human greed is and how endlessly cruel those beings can be... I just can’t!"

With that said, Nova went silent looked at everyone and bowed her head to Lia before saying,

"Bela is still waiting for me... I need to take my leave now. please contemplate about my words and in the future, if you can do something to stop humans from doing this, please stop them..."

"Not for just fairies but for the ’world’ too... their actions are only accelerating the rate of miasmic corruption taking over the world..."

"Endless Greed, Endless Cruelty, this is a direct invitation to the sea of miasma to invade this planet..."

With that said, Nova shook her head and left to give Lia and the others some space to think and organize their thoughts.
