"No... we can’t retreat..."

Lia shook her head as she didn’t bring out the healing potion; instead, she hurriedly jumped to the side!

As if to prove Lia’s words right, a broadsword came crashing down from the sky on the spot where Lia was originally standing!

A powerful shockwave spread in the area as debris flew in all directions!

Lia barely managed to dodge that attack, and she immediately took a sword stance by holding her sword with one hand while applying spirit magic to the hole in her stomach with her other hand in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

Rahn slowly descended from the sky near his sword as he spoke with an amused smile on his face.

Despite that wide grin on his face, his entire left side of the upper torso was completely missing.

It was as if someone had slashed him with a ’\’ shaped sword attack.

From his shoulder to his waist, his entire left side was completely gone; his internal organs were spilling out, and he was barely holding them back with miasma.

Even his heart was sliced in half and wasn’t beating anymore at all.

Rahn already had one leg in his grave, and yet, he stretched out his only intact hand to hold his sword and confront Lia head-on.

Demons also had the concept of fearing and respecting the strong; seeing that Lia was still able to stand and confront him even after suffering such severe injuries, Rahn had to acknowledge Lia’s strength.

He could sense that Lia also had a foot in the grave and her internal injuries were quite severe, yet she fearlessly dared to stand against him; she was worth respecting.

Lia smiled back at the grinning demon and spoke,
