Hearing Lia’s words, Bela nodded her head and replied in a calm voice,

"In this trial prepared by me and King Allen, you managed to save the temple of nature and helped the fairies retreat..."

"But in reality, there was no one like you who could save us all back then..."

Bela did manage to reach the temple of nature, but she was cursed with the destiny of being a great person in the future; it was impossible for her to run from her own destiny.

Sooner or later, she had to confront reality head-on!

"Just like in the trail, human army invaded Kenorland and shattered the barrier protecting it by using powerful space-related artifacts..."

"And sensing the movement of a massive human army, demons also got alerted and jumped into this battle as a third party, causing thing to get even more chaotic..."

Bela took a deep breath and spoke with a sigh.

"Not only Kenorland was completely defenseless, it was taken by surprise... it was eventually flattened in a massive battle that kept going on and on for an entire week before both humans and demons finally retreated in the end..."

"They fought each other for days to earn the right to possess the fountain of elemental life, but in the end, when demons were feeling that they were at a disadvantage, they self-destructed and shattered the mythical artifact!"

Bela shook her head in regret as she said,

"Nova was a strong fairy... alas, she was unable to stop two armies all by herself; in the end, she had only one choice left, take me and escape!"

"Using secret artifacts of the fairies, she opened a teleportation portal for us both and we escaped without daring to confront the two armies head-on..."

In the trial, Lia directly went forward to confront the two armies and even managed to do significant damage to them; that’s why Nova abandoned the thought of escaping and instead came out to support Lia.

If not for Lia, she wouldn’t have hesitated for a single second the moment she sensed the presence of the two armies attacking the city.

She would immediately take all important artifacts and put them in her own space ring; if she couldn’t, she would abandon them.

As for things like the grand atlas that couldn’t be put inside a space ring, Nova opened portals to throw them inside in hopes that they won’t fall in the demon race’s hands.

While doing all this, she was obviously unable to save her fellow fairies, but she was powerless to do anything else and had no choice but to save whomever she could.

In the end she only managed to take Bela away with her through a portal and managed to save at least one life from that chaotic battlefield!

Perhaps it was Bela’s destiny that she was the one that got saved out of all the others, but this event turned Bela’s life into something completely different!
